Cant flash certain zips?

I have a Sprint HTC One and I can flash zips and roms from the Sprint HTC One threads, but I cannot from the regular HTC One threads. I have been trying to install the PACman rom for awhile now. I always got this error: assert failed getprop( ro.product.device ) . I found a thread that said to go into the updater-script and delete up to the first semicolon. I did that and it actually started to flash, but only for about 1 second. I then got this error: symlink: some symlinks failed E: error executing update binary . Any way for me to get this rom?

Please don't brick your phone. THIS FORUM IS FOR GSM VARIANTS OF THE HTC ONE.
You have a CDMA version.
flashing a GSM ROM on a CDMA phone will likely brick.

@op You really want to brick your phone do you? It's showing a failed error yet you still persist on flashing it on your phone? The creator of the zip you made intentionally made that error to avoid users like you on messing up your phone yet you remove the code that checks this.
The reason why it's not working is because Sprint variant HTC One is totally different on other versions. They have different partitions.

Howdy, I checked all the other threads and solutions but most are having trouble actually getting the code - I got the code (by installing CM7) OK but when I went to CM11 (that's the only rom I have that asks for unlock code) it immediately says sim unlock request unsuccessful.
I tried restoring my stock firmware backup but CWM says error restoring /system and it doesn't work.
Also tried searching for a stock ROM but for some reason there's no Australian one listed.
I've tried the code 2-3 times, I don't want to try again and get it blocked

Restock your device . Download firmware from www.sammobile.com/firmwares. You must know the baseband version to download correct rom. You can google for it.

help pleas ERROR [sw rev check fail binary: 3 device: 2] while flashing rom via odin

hi there . iam new to note 5 . i have a SM-N920P SPRINT NOTE 5 my device was working fine until I've flashed it with a wrong rom . now the phone is not working its showing on screen ( an error has occurred while updating the device software . use the emergency recovery function in the smart swich pc software ) so as shown on my screen I've downloaded smart switch and connected my phone but it is now showing on smart switch in order to recovery it's software . so moved on to sammobile and downloaded latest firmware ( N920PVPU2BPH9_N920PSPT2BPH9_SPR ) and flashed it via odin but it fails showing this error on phone screen [sw rev check fail binary: 3 device: 2] . I've tried 3 more roms from different sites and all failed with different errors showing . I've saw a video on youtube and the youtuber said that the baseband version is matching with the phone baseband . pleas help me to fix my phone . sorry for the bad english language because its not my nature language . thanks

try download your firmware using this software.

you need .net 3.5 to be install on your pc.
put your model as SM-N920P and region SPR. Tick the binary nature, check crc and decrypt automatically. it will download your firmware. then try flash with odin.

u cannot downgrade to lollipop u should flash same version of installed android or newer version . thats probably because of locked bootloader .

Its not FRP issue. Actually Samsung has implemented security on new firmwares and now we cannot install old firmwares anymore. As I installed:
N920IDVU3BPL2 firmware from Sammobile, so now I am just able to install one previous firmware ie: N920IDVU3BPJ2 and other than this I cannot install any firmware of Marshmallow or Lollipop at all.
If I still try to install any firmware I get [sw rev check fail binary: 3 device: 2] error.
My problem is that the new firmware is not working good and I cannot use my phone on LTE and even 3G is not goos at times so I am helpless at this stage. I think if I try my old modem of "N920IDVU2BPG3" firmware then may be I get LTE because this was the last perfect firmware working on my phone.
ODIN is throwing error so I think may be flashing the modem and bootloader via twrp may work but do not know if it will cause damage and also do not know how to make flashable zip of twrp for modem and bootloader.
Samsung has really messed me up and I hate it. From last one week the phone is not good on data.

Secure Fail: Modem issue

Hey Guys, since there is no A6+ forum on XDA so far, I am putting my question in this forum hopefully I get your support.
I have A6+, I flashed official firmware with the right model number, and the process is successful using ODIN tool and I get the green message "PASS".
but after the reboot, it shows this message:
SECURE FAIL: MODEM
Security Error: this phone has been flashed with unauthorized software & is locked.
Any help is appreciated.

I bought a LM-V450ebw Dual SIM with android 8x, probably HongKong distribution. I've beed trying to flash it to EU/Polish ROM (android 10) with no possitive effect (I want to have volte and wifi calling - that's the main reason to update).
I've beed trying LGUP 1.14-1.16 with different LGDLL but no way to overcome "error: 0x6004, crossdl open_hk_ds>open_eu_ds"
Finally I tried to update to android 10 Hong Hong version and I succeeded (v30b-lao-yt). But still no success in moving to EU/Polish ROM (android 10) via LGUP - "error: 0x6004, crossdl open_hk_ds>open_eu_ds"
It looks like, there is no problem to move between HK version but no way to move from HK -> UE/Polish.
Of course LG Bridge doesn't help much.
What's wrong? Is there any way to do it without rooting?

For most of the variants all that's needed to crossflash is to use 1.14 and choose 'partition download'. But the HK dual sim variant is a pia. You can lose one or both sims if not done correctly.
I'd suggest, in rom forum see initial thread for lineage os and find invite to join v40 tele group. Ask there as those guys have much more international experience especially with dual sim variants.

It seems LG has removed V40 Thinq from the supported devices,
cannot get any OTA updates :-(
I want to install V405EBW30d_00_OPEN_EU_DS_OP_1223.kdz
latest DEC firmware I think.
When I try LGUP i get the same error mess as above

Tried both "refurbish" and "update" same error.
I don't mind to wipe the phone clean,
but when i select the "Partition DL" i get more than 10 options,
which one(s) should i select ?
Hope I can get some advice.

all of them except ftm. Then, when it finishes and reboots, do the refurbish (twice) with the same kdz.

Evening! I bring you a solution, it seems a strange solution, but after weeks of trying anyway, the only one that did not occur to me, is to disconnect it while I was flashing the rom that I put wrong to downgrade it, i cause a provocated brick, what is my surprise when insert the IBR rom (before it had the TIM) it started flashing without problem.
Mobile to repair: Lg K41S (LMK410EMW)
Use this version of the LGUP flash tool: LGUP_Dev-1.14 (patch)
