Instructions:
-Download the animation you like with the correct screen resolution.
-Extract the gif file inside and rename it to animated.gif
(It's possible that it doesn't work for your because of your Rom. Please ask your
chef for the correct filename!)
-Copy the animation to the root (/) of your device and copy it e.g. with Resco
Explorer to /windows. Overwrite your current animation.
-Restart your device and enjoy it!

What device and rom do you use so I could make a sort of list with the filenames?

omnia II stock rom
my pc don't talk with my device, after 4 flash.. reverse to stock.

This is strange because yes the animation is short but the black screen is only included 2 frames long
I always had the problem on my niki that the animation was too long and then it ends in the middle or so
I can try delete the last frame so the name doesn't fade away

No, you just need to replace your current bootanimation file on your phone with this one. You can do this using ADB or root explorer. Just search the forum for tutorial

just tried to put the bootanimation on my phone and it did not work , I used root explorer to change it as posted above but i just got the little android word and nothing else.
I am running leedroid 2.2.3

after you put the bootanimation file on the proper place, did you change the file permission?

First time I made a bootanimation, I extract the file and examine the content.
Just follow the current folder and file structure and re-zip with new image files.
If failed google will always there for you with a tons of tutorial just like @hav0c said-->

Marvel - DC bootanimation w/ THEME ENGINE

A guy from the oneplus forum posted the link for the Marvel DC bootanimation apk which can be installed via the theme chooser in the CM11 and CM12. Download according to the ROM you have. I don't deserve any of the credits, I merely posted the link to xda to get the attention of the people here. "The Modder" converted the marvel-dc bootanimation.zip in this apk. You can see the original thread in the ONEPLUS forum :

Yup is pretty awesome. The best bootlanimation I've ever come across.

Been looking for this boot animation ever since i got the one plus one. Had the same boot animation on my moto g. Best one by far.

Side note, a white flash at the beginning and end anyone? Or is it just me?
