[Q] sensitive buttons don't work

Hi,
I have a problem with all the custom roms. the sensitive buttons don't work.
I tried all Maclaw's roms and Virginity V3 but i have always this issue.
when i come back to the stock rom, it works.
I think the problem come from the kernel : i tried the Virginity Kernel V3 on my rom stock just rooted, it don't work neither.
can anybody help me ?

go to official stock rom and if problem exists its problem with hardware

Thank you but everything is fine on stock rom.

Reroot ur phone and flash
Remember do your own experiments on your phone because its yours
So find a solution by yourself because no one has this problem
Blame Samsung I read somewhere that our phone got this problem
So try and try until u get it

i'm sorry to say you can't do anything about it... neither a developer can, as far as i know.. about 5% of s3 minis have this problem.... you just live with it, i do too

Install corssbreeder then install root cleaner do a full clean & try again

CM10.2 Signal lost during calls

From approximativly 2 weeks, i lost signal operator when i call another mobils or house calls, i lost in 10 second and aproximativly 10 second later, i return signal..
I have update my modem to GT-I8190NXXANI1 (i have N edition of I8190) but its not fix my problem and i have flash the GT-I8190NXXANR6 but same issue , as you can imagine, it's very annoying that my phone calls intersect
I have check the APN configuration of my operator but no changes..
Anyone have same problem and know how to fix it ?

Install some other than nova fusion roms to see if the problem persists and if it's related with their roms.

I'll have to reinstall all right if I reinstall if I take the same ROM dev (not 10.2 but 11), its can solve my problem with my RIL?

Just do a clean install of this rom http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2758098 and gapps and test. (make a backup of your CM 10.2 first) In nova fusion roms some users got problems with the ril as i read in CM11 topic.

I have flash last release of SlimKat on my S3 Mini but i can look that approximativly 80% of settings panels are not translate
So i think that i will return on Maclaw ROM but Can you explain me: if i take RIL stock file with baseband constructor, it could working on these ROM ?

CM Problems with Wifi

Hi, im facing wifi problem when i install CM Roms.. is thr any fix to this problem?
If not, is this only in CM or even AOSP or stock ROMs?
Can someone suggest me a good non-CM ROM, which is fluid and has good battery back up? i dont want features. Please help!

I am also using cm12.1 no such wifi problems daily connecting with several wifi networks

it happens rarely.. only on some devices.!

You are *very* unspecific on your problem. What happens? Do you have a logcat? Did you turn on extended wifi logging?

phone wont stay off while charging

Hi, i know it's ironic to create an account just to get some help but i tried googling everywhere but there's no solution to my problem.
I have installed cyanogenmod for my s3 mini eveything was fine but it wont stay off when charging. Instead of showing the battery percentage, it reboots my phone automatically. So please just help me fix this

Which version of CM are you using?
Also is this offline charging? I recall in earlier versions of CM12.1 offine charging did not work; this could be the case with other ROMs too. Try updating to the latest version.
If that doesn't help try reinstalling the ROM. That's solved countless problems for me.

im using cyanogenmod 12.1 2016718 release. Thats the latest version for s3 mini. So its just a bug? or is it just my phone?

Could be either one hey; here's what I would try:
1. Wipe cache/dalvik
2. Do a fresh install of the ROM; might have been a flash error
3. Obtain another ROM (Maybe try a KitKat ROM) and try to flash that and see if it works
1 & 2 will determine if its a minor software error
3 will allow you to determine if there is a problem with your phone

some ploblem from the cook rom (e120s) ----(popular!!!) :confused:

hello guys , today & half year ago when i installed the lollipop rom maked by dungphp on my device e120s i found some issues that
+, no wifi was found when i turned on the wifi icoin
+, when i lock screen,turn it on again , it reboot or softreboot
this happen when i installed the cm rom baseband
- on cm11 rom & miui v5 rom i tried to installed to my device but no wifi was found when i turned on the wifi icoin too. so i found a kernel that it fix wfi in the device call " Wi-Fi_semcove_Patch_KK_SHV-E120S " so the wifi working ,i continued to installed the lollipop rom with the kernel but when i done,i reboot,nothing happened ..................
can we have a topic or a slove for this ploblem , i think this is popular because some people have the same ploblem with me !!!!

i dont think any more development is going on at this time for this device. Although mine is E120L, I tried to see if there was a marshmellow port or at least lollipop with random reboot issue fixed. But i couldn't find it. I am using resurrection remix port for E120L by dung php and its stable than any other Rom. I think its available for E120s as well in choimobile thread.

i have tried many time & every rom lollipop by dungphp but it was the same issues :crying::crying:

if you are having problem with wifi, why dont you try flashing latest JB build to get your baseband updated and try flashing lollipop afterwards? Did the same thing and it solved many issues, but random reboots are still there. Seems like you are trying to update your device from Icecream sandwich or older JB builds. Also check "clear efs" or something like that from odin to clear corrupted efs files.

You can try wiping phone efs through odin in order to fix radio issues
1 Download stock jb rom
2 Check "phone efs clear". This is most important.
3 Click pda
4 click start
5 wait for phone to boot up
6 go to settings->software update to check if you are running latest jb build. Soft reboots and radio issues are usually caused by old baseband version.
7 Proceed with usual old way to install lollipop.
This way odin will wipe your efs settings to rebuild from scratch.

It should solve itself. I dont have e120s, but I fixed Wifi issue by clearing efs and updating to astap 8 in e120L.

Just found out that even armv6 device like xperia arc is getting marshmallow.

i managed to fix wifi problem on lollipop rom by integrating kernel of " Wi-Fi_semcove_Patch_KK_SHV-E120S " on lollipop rom. wifi worked but reboot problem when locking screen still remained.
