Hello guys, I'm passing thru quite a problem here, see, my wifi works like a charm the whole day, but when I sit down to write some apps and I connect my phone on debug (adb) mode to test my app, the wifi disconnects and doesn't want to connect on my wifi anymore.
After this, I have to disconnect the usb, turn off the debug mode, forget my wifi, reboot my cellphone, and then try to connect again....
And when I connect the cable to test my app once more, the same thing happens.
Can anyone help me?

My Trinity device is not recognized by any of my 3 pc's using any of USB ports. The problem started when I wanted to try a different ROM. I currently have 20070418_RUU_Trinity_LVSW_WWE_1.25.0.8 installed. I wanted to install img-32424-mUn_1_25_AKU3_5 but during the reboot after the ROM transfer the connection failed for the USB connection, after which I gave up and thought well let's try again and soft resetted the device. However I was never able to get a Active Sync session going again. The OS is still booting fine so I feel I am trying to fix something which is not entirely broken. I also tried the suggestion for flashing from SD card, but that did not load the TRINIMG.nbh file as I hoped (and read) it would. So I have a IR connection and possibly a bluetooth connection (I left my bluetooth module at work so I cant test this) Will this be my free ticket out of jail? Thanks for your input.
I seem to remember something about someone loosing USB connectivity after installing and messing with the GPS icon. This probably won't help but I would try in your case.
Start>Settings>Connections>GPS
Program Port>None
Hardware Port>None
Baud>9600
Check manage GPS automatically
Exit & turn phone off
Turn phone back on
Doesn't work?
You are no worse off
Works?
Reset hardware port to Com 9
Uncheck manage automatically
Leave program port to off
Set GPS software to com 9 9600
tried it, but didnt work.
Does the USB connection work in bootloader mode by any chance? (Hold the power and camera buttons down and reset with the stylus).
Try to delete the ActiveSync partnership on both the PDA and computer and then reestablish it ... it may have nothing to do with USB at all.
Problem went away after I forgot to turn off the PDA while it was connected to the wireless. It apparently didnt switch itself of because it was dead when I tried to turn it on. After charging it for a while I could turn it on, and as by a miracle the USB interface finally connected properly with my laptop. It didnt give the error "Windows has encountered an unknown device on your USB port" So thanks for all your input sofar.
I just got a tilt and tonight, at work, I plugged it into one of our machines through the usb cable. Don't know if it is relevant, but we run linux here at the office. IMMEDIATELY after connecting phone, my wired connection to the pc got killed. Have rebooted pc and still nothing. The network is not down cause i can connect to other pc's on the network, but no internet. Im sure it was the phone because I tried it on another pc here at the office to see if it is the phone, and immediately after connecting the phone to the 2nd pc, the internet immediately went down. PLEASE HELP! Any ideas to why it does this. How can I fix it? Thank you!
The problem has been fixed. What it does it corrupt the /etc/resolv.conf. No idea why it did this???? Any ideas?? I don't want to connect my phone to the pc until I can figure out why it did this? Thanks
I have been having some really weird problems with wifi. Most of the time it connects fine except when i have the usb connected. When i set the usb to mass storage the wifi just stops transmitting.
I have no idea, is that whats supposed to happen??? PLEASE HELP!!!
When I connect my phone to a PC it's almost always for charging purpose only. But in the USB mode selection I could only see MTP and MSC, both of whick will establish data connection. I don't want to have to eject the phone every time, I want just unplug and go. Is there a way to choose a charging only mode?
I never eject.

I agree.. I never eject (if it's in MTP mode). I don't even think the option is available. I think you are safe to just unplug when you are in MTP mode - as long as you are not transferring anything, of course! (If I am wrong, somebody stop me! )
If my phone were in Mass Storage mode, I would make sure to eject every time.
Hi guys,
I am having a problem with the wireless transfering feafure on my Z3C. A couple of hours ago I still could use it to sync my music wirelessly, then suddenly now I cannot use it anymore. When I tap the PC name in the paired PC list and tap connect, the phone try to connect to the PC but some how it cannot and just pop up a failure message.
This is the second time this problem happens and I do not know what causing it. The last time I changed my PC name and it worked again but just a few days later it happened again. Both devices were connected to the same WiFi and the pairing has been set up exactly as the instruction. I don't want to change my PC name over and over again, and I absolutely do not want to use the USB cable, so can anyone suggest me a solution to fix this once and for all?
Thank you
I'm having the same problem now. It's annoying. I'm resorting to normal usb connection now, but some light on this matter would be great.
Just checked mine (win 8.1 64bit) after not using it for some weeks, it connected right away, no issues.

Ok, I found a solution. I restarted my wifi modem and disconnected my phone and PC. After reconnecting, I followed the instructions on the PC Companion program and now my phone connects properly every time. Hope it helps you.
Bumping this. I have the same problem on Windows 8.1, and nothing worked so far. Tried with two different Internet connections and nothing.
Reseting the rooter - Nothing
Putting screen with 30 min timer and letting it work - Nothing, it always says it's impossible to connect in less than a minute.
There's nothing else running on the PC nor on the phone, so I really don't know what else to try besides another app like AirDroid or Wifi File Transfer.
Any ideas?!
