Does anyone know of a way to remove the persistent notification that shows whether Wi-Fi calling is currently connected?
I feel like having it show up 2-3 other places in the notification shade (e.g., in the Carrier Name as "T-Mobile" vs. "T-Mobile Wi-Fi Calling") is sufficient notification, such that the persistent notification is really redundant and annoying.
I'm using the Android One variant running stock 8.1 on T-Mobile US, and it seems the responsible app "Moto Settings" can have its notifications snoozed but not permanently hidden.

After upgrading from the Photon to the One, I have noticed that I do not get notification of pending voicemail in the top bar or in the notification area when I pull the shade down. As I have tried to be minimalist on home screens, I had originally removed the voicemail app from the homescreen. This has resulted in missing pending voicemail, as I was used to seeing a notification at the top aside from the shortcut/widget for voicemail. I cannot locate a way to enable this in voicemail settings. This is essentially the same voicemail app I used previously (bundled stock app from Sprint), so is this a change from Gingerbread or just the way HTC handles this app/notification?

Anyone else noticing that even in the Do Not Disturb options that if you hide visual notifications they still show up? Or am I in the wrong settings to not want to get them? Been since the Note 4 that I've owned a samsung. My 2XL would show nothing besides the "Do Not Disturb'' icon on the AOD
I cant be the only one who notices this or doesnt like it lol
Hi I noticed this strange icon in my notifications area and I'm hoping someone can help me with what it is. I don't want to click it and it compromises my phone.
Isn't that skype icon?
What does it say if you expand notification? Don't tap on it, just expand
It seems to be the Samsung push service notification.
You may have a notification in one of the Samsung services.

Or it could by samsung smart switch..?
The brief notification is where you get a small pop up at the top of your screen. How the hell do you disable this globally? Some apps like WhatsApp you can do from within the actual app's settings. Others you can turn off priority notifications.. But some apps don't have any valid setting. How can I disable this for all apps. Its such a useless feature for me. I just want the regular icon in the status bar and nothing popping up
they used to be called heads up notifications I think and yes I'd welcome a solution for this too.
I currently run my phone in 'do not disturb' mode 24/7 because I despise their intrusions.
When I upgraded from the note 20 ultra, there is one thing I missed and I don't know how I got it in the first place. Being able to turn off specific notification based on their notification.
It was easy, a specific notification would happen, I would go to the notification bar and then tap the app, notification, tap the notification then settings and then it would automatically go to the right notification category and highlight it so I knew which one it was.
Now the phone just stops at notification so now when I manually go to notification category, I don't know which one to choose
