First time installing crDroid to your S4 Mini, or coming from another ROM:
- Make sure you're running a proper working Recovery (CWM or TWRP)
- Copy GApps and crDroid zip to your internal SDCard

- DO A DATA WIPE / FACTORY RESET
- Reboot

You need to run the ril patch in k2wl's serranodsdd repo before starting the build and it will work. I made a test build of crDroid for the duos a while back and worked with no issues

I found a bug , earphones are not detected in this ROM .

is home button configurable, at least to wake up the device?
does file manager have access to root? can't find any option in the application (root access enabled in dev opt).

Everything works like a charm in this build its smooth but there is that bootloop issue which is present in pixel experience rom,but long pressing the power button helps in that rom where as in cosmic it doesn't work even after long pressing the power button or else if i go to twrp and then power on device also it sends into bootloop. Pls once check this issue,Other than that the rom is usable as daily driver if the bootloop issue is solved. Thanks for bringing cosmic universe to zuk z1:good:

When you go to recovery, clear cache and dalvik, it may help.

I apologise for my previous post as I was not aware of twrp 3.2
I flashed the ROM with twrp 3.2 and now it is working smoothly!
After I pressed reboot for the first time I encountered a bootloop which was fixed upon a forced restart!
I once again thank the developer for providing this ROM since you guys have a daily job and do this in your free time.
I noticed something in the audio of the ROM. Irrespective of the music app I install, if equalizer is enabled then the playback stops, when I change the next song, the timer is running but no audio output is present! However if I disable the equalizer, the music app functions normally! Does anyone else experiencing this or just me?

i don't know about volte because i'm using redmi note 3 pro now
so if you can, please post your volte status on this rom

My main concern is about deep sleep, in the other two Oreo ROMS, it doesn't work all the time.

i think that problem not solved on cosmicos

What is the kerneltest version?
Which kernel does it use?

Just a quick review after few hours usage.
Pretty solid ROM (thanks to devs!). As this ROM offers something that i can't get on LOS: automatic opening lockscreen with face unlock and internal wakeblocker options.
Average battery usage is 12% per hours of SOT which is pretty for moderate social media usage (no gaming) with mobile data. Although still facing known issues as high graph usage on mobile data standby but at least it can reduce a little by turning off emergency alerts. Another issue that LOS has it too is IPA_WS wakelock which i dunno exactly what it is.
If this ROM can handle less than 10% overnight standby, i'll keep it. I'll update tomorrow bout this.
Here's some screenshot.
Update: 20% battery on overnight standby using wifi. Same battery drains with other Oreo based ROM. All Oreo ROM: Wifi seems really aggressive on battery.

Great rom, I liked it a lot, but it has a but ... in my osprey there is no sound / no audio, no music, no touch of the phone itself, I already made the wipes and reinstalled the rom, but without success. Any patch to fix? thank you

Hell no, I am the only one who fixed it. So I'm the only one who use it... These guys here are so unthankful. Until everyone learns to be a bit more respectful, no fix.

First customisations, then Dot is based on pure AOSP. DU is based on caf (working on switching over to pure AOSP though). And cosmic is based on Los. Cosmic should be best atm tho as it has working hwc.

Almost everyone knows that volte will never work on AOSP.
And since I'm no dev there is no fix...
