Hey!I have a serious problem with my phone and I really need some help
My phone was running Android 8.1 (Custom ROM) before someone cracked the screen of my phone. After that i leave the phone to a service for repair. All good since i take it back. After i went to home i do a factory reset and guess what...bootloop.I tried to flash other ROM ( I was using TWRP 3.2) but smae results...I tried to flash other version of TWRP ,but when i typed in adb fastboot boot (recovery image name).iso the phone still remains in FASTBOOT and nothing happened.
Finally I saw that an older version of TWRP was workig (cofface TWRP recovery) and i flashed the original ROM (MIUI) wich was working
Now I want to know what they did to my phone. Why i can't flash any other recovery or Custom ROMs...What can I do?
I really need some help

I really hope I have not bricked my mi3.
I recently installed cyanogen 12 Dev rom onto the phone but had terrible trouble installing a gapps package.
I was using cwm recovery r11, so I decided to change the recovery to twrp.
Still I could not get gapps to install! So earlier on I noticed the phone was really hot and over heating and when I looked at it it was stuck on the cyanogen boot logo.
I don't know how this happened but anyway I put the phone into recovery to try and cool it.
I then backed up the current rom on twrp and then tried to install a previous aosp rom that was working fine with gapps..
But when I wiped cache and then tried to install the zip file was missing so I tried to restore the backed up cyanogen 12 rom but the restore was not there.???
So twrp was telling me their was no os on the phone.
I tried to turn off the phone and then reboot to recovery in the hope the restore would be there but now the phone won't do anything.. Nothing.!
Even when I charge it no lights, nothing..
Am I f###ked or is their hope.
Please help.

Try to flash MIUI stock rom with fastboot mode via mi flash tool...
You can find the full guide here http://forum.xda-developers.com/xiaomi-mi-3/help/fix-bricked-xiaomi-mi3-mi4-t3154558
This is the latest fastboot rom
Press the volume down key and power key...you should see the fastboot menu(just an fastboot image) then use miflash

EDIT : I got rid of the problem and managed to root my phone.
I'm having trouble rooting the K3 note flashed with VIBE UI 3.0. I'm using Lenovo K50a40, Indian Version and I flashed the Dev version of Vibe UI ROM (v 3.0 from hackerpower's signature) . The flashing went all fine. Then I tried to reroot the phone but I noticed that the recovery was the stock one. So I proceeded to reflash the recovery using fastboot but it showed that the file had been downloaded but could not be flashed to the recovery partition. I thought of using SP Flash Tool to flash the recovery. I flashed AthlonX's material TWRP recovery and it flashed okay. Then on rebooting the phone I find it remains stuck on the boot logo with Lenovo written on white backdrop. There's also text written in a small black strip on the bottom left which says "=>Tool DL Image Fail" . The phone stays on that screen for a minute or two and then goes out. Earlier I couldn't boot into the phone due to the above mentioned problem. Then I waited for the battery to drain and then powered the phone on normally (without pressing the button combination for recovery mode) and the phone booted up just fine but the recovery was the stock one .
From all this, there's one thing I've concluded- that this phone has some kind of defense mechanism that protects against installing a custom recovery. This occurred even when I tried rooting on Stock 2.5 VIBE UI. That time I overcame the problem by flashing recovery using fastboot and then booting directly into the recovery instead of system. Now, however, fastboot isn't able to flash the recovery (the transfer of the image is successful but the flashing fails) .
Finally, I request anyone who can help me in any way to Root the phone or to get a recovery installed to please reply.
Thanks.
how were you able to root it

If the recovery goes back to stock then you should probably try to boot into the recovery before rebooting to system after SP Flash Tool has done it's job.
Hi so I down loaded one more time the recovery thru sp tool
But this time I took the battery out for few seconds instead of rebooting right away
And it worked
Once I rooted back the phone I tried flashing the gapps but it didn't work
I tried changing the permission s thru root explorer for the google base app as I so on a post and nothing
Any ideas
I've had my phone rooted until 2 days ago with MIUI10, then MIUI11, also tried all Custom ROMS everything fine until I installed the Global Stable 11.0.5 and as usally it wipes the custom recovery. I ran in this many times, and sorted also that many times by fastboot flash of the recovery. Something happened and right now I am stuck with global stable and cannot install again the custom recovery, tried I think 10 versions.
I open the commander run fastboot flash recovery ...img / fastboot boot ...img and it seems that it all went good, I wait as usuat that it boots in twrp, but instead it is taking longer and every time I end up in a normal restart and boots the system.
I am blocked and don't know what to try to get back my custom recovery, any advices are appreciated!

Try this recovery: http://files.mi-room.ru/files/twrp/cepheus/3.3.1-1030/recovery.img , someone said it's the only recovery which works on his device.
Have you tried to boot into TWRP with power+vol up?
I was running Indian global stable 11.0.6.0 and unlocked the bootloader to flash a custom ROM (Evolution X latest)
Something went wrong and I ended up with a phone with no OS installed.
I have files that I need to flash in the recovery but the touch screen won't work anymore and I don't think I can copy files to recovery either.
Running latest Orangefox recovery. I am able to boot into fastboot as well. Phone is still unlocked.
Is there anything I can do to fix the touch? If I can access the recovery maybe I can flash an OS.
Thank you

In recovery, turn off the screen, then turn it back on again. Then see if the touch screen is working.
Not sure about OF, as I'm using TWRP. But this is a known issue in TWRP. Occasionally need to turn off screen then on again, in order to get touch screen working.
Hi everyone, I wanted to root my phone because my google pay way not working after I unlocked the bootloader of my phone.
I used magisk to flash a version for my redmi 2201117TY, but after using fastboot to flash my "patched" rom back to my phone, it is now booting over and over again.
I installed twrp to try to install another ROM, but I'm not sure it'll work.
I installed several redmi note 11 img to see if it would fix it but i did not (V13.0.6.0.SGKEUXM, V14.0.2.0.TGKMIXM and V13.0.3.0.SGKEUSF which was my original one i suppose)
I just want to have an usable phone even if it means cleaning everything. How can I format everything back to make it usable?
I have access to adb, fastboot, TWRP. (usb debugger on)
I am not sure I can find the exact rom as it was a really wierd version from my operator (SGKEUSF) and I can only find one on internet which happen to not work. How can I unbrick my phone now?
NOTE : the SGKEUSF is an overlayer of the SFR (Altis) network so i would rather not use it
Format (not wipe) data in twrp, flash a rom that fits your needs (on sdcard), reboot recovery (!), reboot system. If fastboot access is given it's fixable. Had the same thing many times with spesn. This is the way it always works for me.
When you say "flash a rom", you mean a recovery or a fastboot one? Does it have an influence?
Just download latest version of MiFlash, download RN11 fastboot ROM, flash the ROM via MiFlash. In MiFlash make sure to to check the box whether of not to lock the bootloader after flash. Just to be safe leave it unlocked until after the phone is safe.
