We're you able to somehow unlock it? I have the same problem currently .
you can order frp reset password. it cost 20 USD. Works well. I have tested it. https://eimei24.com/unlock/huawei_frp/

Thanks for the suggestion, is a tutorial delivered when you purchase? How exactly does it work? I would like to know a bit more first since it looks kinda sketchy and I'm not sure why they can provide an frp unlock while there's nothing public?
its just 20 USD so i tried. I recieved a unlock code based on my imei within 24 hours. Then i pluged in the device, run the PC program and entered the FRP unlock code and afte reboot it worked. I unlocked this way the phone and work since then with no problems.

Intersting, thanks a ton, I'll see if I can fix it by myself and if not I'll try that service.
I am making frp bypasses since years in my repair shop and this was the first time i have to pay for it. Beside that i managed all devices to get frp bypass by some exploits, backdoors etc.

I had some phones too, that I found some tutorials that worked. Whats irritating me is that there are a ton of those "Send IMEI to receive your unlock key" sites, but I can't seem to find the tool to create them or the list that's used for them. Quite weird since I would guess the method should be published somewhere if there are so many bad looking amateurish sites using the same method.
They keep it secret, because they making money.
I can frp unlock almost every device besides p30 for now... They will shure figure a workaround, but i needed it for my customer and the p30 was with lastest security patch.

Any new solutions??
What new solutions? Just pay 20 usd and unlock it.
We need free solutions??
Do we? Just use google search maybe is there a new frp unlocking method.
Do they send you a program for unlocking the phone after you purchase it?
just a code. And beacaouse I know how to do it, i unlocked it by myself. But I think on their website there is a link for the program.
I see. Thanks for the reply. I bought the code and I don’t see there is a link for the program on their website. Are you able to send me the program please?
Just managed to remove FRP from P30 Pro, cost: 0 €/$/£ ?
1. Downgrade to 9.1.0.185Q (use usb otg and memory stick and create dload to root and put files there)
2. After flashing, do a factory reset and then boot to safe mode.
3. Now reset settings, connect to wlan and reboot
4. Voilà
Hey everyone so i got this mi 8 in compensation for something i did fully know it was locked and i hoped i could somehow unlock it but this is worse than Icloud LMAO
So my question is after trying bunch of Indian videos on youtube nothing worked ofc, anybody has any advice or tip ?
I can provide things such as IMEI and the Lock Code that's it .
You can hire a service to unlock it for you. Just Google Xiaomi Mi8 unlock service.
I believe that they help you using teamviewer. I haven't personally used these services but have read that as long as the service provider has an EDL account that they can unlock it and get it backup and running.
Another option is to contact the person that sold you the device and have them give you their Mi Cloud credentials, then after you have removed the device from their account, you can create your own account and bind the device to your account.
Edit : I just read about a tool called Hydra : You can read more here: https://www.hydra-dongle.com/brands/xiaomi/mi-8-(dipper)/
Again, I have never used these services so buyer beware. Though I am sure it will be worth the gamble if you are only spending $30. If it works then come back and let the XDA community know.
Try online service it takes 1-3 days i did it so many times
if you wanna help let me know .

That doesn't resolve the issue, his phone is bound to the previous owners account. The issue is not booting the phone to system.
The only real solution is getting the account information from the previous owner.

but after a week they refunded me cause they said the servers for this job was down
that happened on February
first I bought this to figure out my phone origin

and after that they told me to use this
https://allunlock.net/unlock-service-xiaomi-mi-account-all-countries-100-success/p5864554/
but as you can see servers are still down
if I manage anything in the future I will post here, I suggest you do the same if you try any of this services

There are video online that work without paying someone. Happened to my mom's phone where she didn't remember the password and touch didn't work. Found the video online that through a security bug bypassed the setup and reset again the phone trough that and was ok after that.

Hey man, Xiaomi Mi 8 Pro (equuleus) locked with Mi account, dont't know the password neither have a SIM card associated with that Mi account.
Any way to bypass the activation when turn the phone on ?
Sorry for bad english ...
ive search all threads but found nothing
my phone is network locked, dont work with my sim card.
the cell phone imei has no restrictions. i dont have a t mobile sim card to make a account.
when i try the t mobile app to try unlock, says : this devices is not eligible for unlock. for device unlock elegibility details, please go online or contact customer care (server error : error code 255)
ive search this error code but again, found nothing.
the device dont recognize on my computer, tried reinstall lg drivers several times. Coz i trought if i could change the rom, i could make it work (with comes with other problem, in lg site of kdz there is only t mobile roms for download, my model is LM-V405TA, i dont know if other model will work with no problem). who sold me, told me the phone become locked after a update software he made (the phone worked beforeo, a long time ago, i saw it), so maybe if i downgrade to oreo, even t mobile, maybe works, dont know. or if as mentined above, any other model kdz to flash could work, but as i said, the phone dont recognize on computer, eiter download mode or normal mode
and by my search, my phone cannot be rooted (someone mentined some "soldering stuff", what i wont do).
so my question is: there is really no other way to fix this ? i really have to pay almost 100$ to this sites that send a unlock code?
thanks from all my heart for who could give me some directions.
i can now use lgup and flash kdz. i did flash t mobile oreo but still locked network. Im almost sure if i flash the right kdz (clean with no carrier), i will solve this problem. But i cant find in the whole web for my model.
Yah, seems like im really and totally f.up. If this forum cant help, nothing can. Ive found some guy who fix this but too expensive, i cant afford. But thanks for who at least did read this thread.

They asked 450 reais i my country (smthing about like almost 100 dollars). They said If my phone was spring, they could not unlock in anyway. Ive made a call to TMobile costumer support. They said in my case, th only way to unlock with them in tradicional way is If the previous owner pay his debits, but the account is closed. So im my case, the only thing i can do (im note sure, i really trust in this fórum but this time i had no help for at least directions or someone to Tell me How this works and what to do or not or what can or not can be done) is make a PayPal account and pay 70 dollars to some well know site do this job (my fear is If threre is any chance for them( when i say "them" i reffer to TMobile) to lock again after some time). But i guess we both are alone on this. So what i know and can share with you (im not sure but its what Ive heard), srints cannot be unlocked.
helo i bought P20pro
this phone have FRP lock on.
so accessible only Erecovery, Download more, and normal tun On.
i dont know much about phone inside like what Talkback version, CL baseband version.... Maybe i can i can conect to pc and over pc to see all info about phone and bypass that FRP. Becouse now atm phone is usefull only to press paper i seen on youtube how people bypassing FRP on this phone. with talkback , wifi error and etc.
maybe posible somehow like i long time ago i dit on S7 (over pc i maked phone call to s7 and then i send wandom webside adress to random number and i open website then downloaded QuickShortcut maker and google mail injector. so i injected my email and my s7 was done fully unlocked)
need some way to call out from inside HUAWEI home launcher to pass that FRp.. i realy need some new ideas from u folks.
Ask the previous owner's email address then unlink the device to the old address and replace with your email add. Some people here might know a way to bypass but I highly doubt someone will help you.

Sigma is paid software, so i doubt that recording the process would matter. Anyone can buy sigma and use the FRP Unlocking feature, it's not something new or some secret procedure, only skills and money are required. xD

yes u right its paid software but u can google it on youtube and u will see how is done on that Sigma and i think its possible to do also with other programming boxes like octopus and etc...
anyways phone working absolutely fine no any issues. Later on will need just unlock from locked network EE
whole process was like that:
over AnyDesk program he conected to my PC (any desk is like Teamviewer)
then he downloaded on my pc FlexiHUB ( lets u to use urs pc PORTS over internet, on one pc use other pc devices in this case sigma box over internet conects to my phone)
i pluged in phone to pc
phone was on FASTboot
over fastboot console he checked whats my phone version.. LTC L09..... in my case.
after that i just waited when it was done. how i watched on youtube that all is normally is done in about 3-5mins.
but he did longer about 30mins. i think just to make look that he is doing sth hard job.... becouse on my screen was no any movement for about 30mins. and at the end he did all quikly bam bam phone restarted and thats it all done. FRP was removed.
online Sigma box costs 174£ and + about 30£ a year for some support. then 1,2,3,4 patches each about 10£, so Basically spend at begging about 250-300£ and u can start doing same thing and earn some money not bad.. no so shabby
thats all what he downloaded on my pc.

Don't spend your money on that, afaik it can't unlock the bootloader on P20 Pro.
DC-Unlocker (HCU) can provide a bootloader unlock code on kirin 970 devices as Mate 10 Pro with firmware versions prior to April 2018, but i don't think it works on P20.

It does state that it can on the sigma site, I didn't pay for anything, just enquired about it to the chap..a service promise is enough for me. If it worked I'd buy one..
Have you used one yourself? I'm surprised it's not mentioned more on this forum, maybe the other devices threads have it, I know you're on them but I barely visit.
Here's a quote from the new upgrade for Huawei.
Locked Bootloader
Huawei smartphones with the locked bootloader:
Read / Reset Bootloader Unlock Password
Relock Bootloader without any traces left in the firmware
Reading the unlock password is a gem if it works..
Have you tried this new version.?

Some months ago, I purchased a Xiaomi Redmi 8 from a local store, here, in Greece.
The device was originally given to my brother who has been using it for about a month or so. He knows nothing about tech in general and I was not with him when he set up his phone, so he created a new gmail and mi account on his own.
A few days ago, he was given another device that he is more familiar with, so he decided to switch to it and give the Redmi 8 to my other brother.
Before handing it to him, he told me to create a backup of his photos and perform a hard reset on it in order to wipe everything in the device. I did so, but when rebooting the device after the hard reset, I came across a message telling me that the device is locked and that I need to log in using my old mi account in order to unlock it.
Well, you may have already understood what the problem is. He doesn't know the password to neither his mi nor his gmail account and he didn't even add his phone number as a password reset backup so there is no way for me to unlock it using that way.
Manual verification doesn't work either, cause the accounts are considered to be new, as there are no previous passwords, emails or any kind of history associated to them.
I searched about it and found out that I had to contact xiaomi global in order to sort this issue out so that's exactly what I did (I tried contacting Xiaomi Greece first but they told me that they couldn't help and that I had to send an email to Xiaomi Global).
I sent an email to Xiaomi describing my issue in detail. In the email I also included everything that proved that I am the original owner of the device, because I understand that without proof they wouldn't be able to do anything.
So I included:
- A photo of the locked device with me holding it
- A photo of the device's box with me holding it
- A photo of the IMEI numbers written on the box and on a sticker that came with the device, which I also included as text (in written form) in the email's body
- A photo of the official receipt that I received from the store upon purchase
- The email that my brother used for the mi account he created (he managed to remember the email but not the password)
After four days of communication, switching to different case managers and with me describing my problem again and again, their final answer was that they simply can't do anything about it, because of privacy concerns.
Keep in mind that I don't want to recover my brother's old mi account, I don't care about it, he doesn't care either. What I'm asking for is to have my legally purchased device unlocked, by either completely removing the mi account that is associated with it or switching it with a mi account that he actually knows the password for.
Since then, I've contacted Xiaomi Global again and again, multiple times, and I always receive the same reply, that due to privacy issues they don't accept any unlock requests. For my own legally purchased device ffs!
I read about similar cases online, that got sorted out without even providing a receipt of the purchase and my case is somehow related to privacy issues and cannot be solved, so I'm left with a totally useless device.
Is there any other way to unlock it, I'm extremely frustrated with their behavior, so much that I think I won't be buying any Xiaomi devices anymore.

I haven't had to try it but people in the mi community have recommended it , other than that I'm sure how else to by pass user login
Unless you remember the user name you can try to renew change the password by logging in on pc
- The email that my brother used for the mi account he created (he managed to remember the email but not the password)
go to https://account.xiaomi.com and retrieve your password by mail and if you connected it to your sim number get it out of your phone and insert it in another one to reserve verification SMS
Hi. I have the same issue. Bypass don't work. Could it be helpful to downgrade the device to older OS? Does anyone has experienced a positive bypass?

I have the same Problem, i purchased a Xiaomi Redmi 8 Pro (ther big one with 128GB Storage) second Hand. The Seller has removed his Google Account but not his Xiaumi Account. So he also has left his Data on the Telephone because he was very busy and asked me to remove it from the Phone.
So it's my first Xioami Device with having a Xiaomi Account and i never had anything to do with such Accounts, only the Google Account that you need on most of all Phones. So i performed a Factory Reset on the Phone and the Phone is now locked by the Xiaomi Account and unuseable. I have everything from the Seller, The Original Box, the original Bill (was originallly purchased in Czechslovakia i think) and the Papers came with the Phone.
Have someone an Idea what i can do? I live in Vienna/Austria and would be very thankful for any form of help to bring the Phone back to Life.
I contacted the Xiaomi Support, i tried some Guides in Youtube Videos with won't work with my Phone or are Fake, tried some Account Unlock Tools.... I have no Idea anymore, maybe someone here can help me out please?

i bought it as a used phone and fastboot means bootloader is locked. is there a way to unlock it via fastboot mode?
To check if bootloader is unlocked, while booting up but before the boot animation, there should be an unlocked lock.
If you can't find that lock then you should go visit a support center or so
If it is unlocked tell me here and I'll help
Unforgently i think it isn't unlocked because i cannot see this unlocked lock at bootimg up. Any ideas?

It will lock bootloader again.
If you have unlocked bootloader and want to backup it, just backup the SECCFG partition.
And then, after the "firmware upgrade" just restore the SECCFG partition.

The Bootloader is already seems to be locked, so its no Problem if the SP Flash Tool will lock it again. But its a good Hint, Thank you anyway.
I just want to have a working Device for Daily use because i sold my other Phone and buyed this one as a used one because a friend of mine use the same Model and is very pleased with it. It has some useful functions huawei doesn't provide.
For now i have to use the reserve Phone from a friend of mine, a LG G3 D855 with 1GB of RAM and Android 5. So i will be very happy if my Xiaomi Redmi 8 Pro working like it should work.
But for now i'm warned and can everybody strongly recommend to look that the seller of an mobile phone has removed ALL of his accounts from the phone befire you buy it.

Unhappy, neither Xiaomi or Google asks if you want to protect your device asking for password if anybody try to wipe data.
You are right, we need to confirm if everything is clear before to buy.

Hi why is everybody hard resetting their phones the old way, in Xiaomi devices the proper way is to do it thru the settings menu or simply logout the mi account of the device (but offcourse doing it this way will ask for a pasword).
In regards to your quetions you may have to options:
1. Ask the seller to remove the phone from his mi account in https://i.mi.com/
2. Jtag the phone or going for the prior mentioned software https://www.androidjungles.com/download-mi-account-unlock-tool/
Actually if you go into recovery (stock one), it has the option to contact support thru mipcsuite. Once I had the good " the system has been destroyed" screen and they fixed it for me w/o even contacting each other
