Status: Stable
Current Stable Version: v1

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE:
1. If you're coming from another ROM or need to perform a clean flash:
Wipe System, Data, Cache, Dalvik Cache from Advanced Wipe in TWRP
Firmware is already included in ROM zip so you do not need to flash Firmware!!!!
Flash ROM (link in first post)
GApps (stick with GZR GaPPs (link in first post) or BeansGapps by Ezio, please don't flash OpenGApps)
Flash root (preferably Magisk)
Any mods you want to flash (I won't be supporting Custom Kernels or Xposed)
2. If you're updating the ROM:
Flash Substratum rescue zip if you have a theme applied
Flash ROM
*************NOTE: DO NOT WIPE ANYTHING WHEN UPDATING ROM!!!!!!!!*******************
Reboot
NOTE: If you have issues with Settings or Play Services force-closes you need to clean flash (Method 1).
KNOWN ISSUES:
Sometimes when full charged and unplugged, the device still thinks that it is charging, simply plug and unplug again
When moving files from internal storage to sd card, size shows as 0b, this is false and the actual size still remains and the file can be used
The lockscreen shows the charging speed as 1mA, this is false and the device charges at its usual rate
There is a green tint when using HDR+ on GCam, use the inbuilt camera or do not use HDR on GCam
Reporting Bugs
DO NOT Report bugs if you're running a custom kernel or you installed Xposed
Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
If it is a random reboot, grab dmesg . (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)
If the problem disappears after running "setenforce 0" from a root shell, grab /data/misc/audit/audit.log
Remember to provide as much info as possible. The more info you provide, the more likely that the bug will be solved. Please also do not report known issues.

Frequently Asked Questions:
-Why can I not use OpenGApps?
A: You can use OpenGApps but do not come to me if you face issues since I will not be supporting it.
-OTA Support?
A: I will not be providing OTA Support, if there is a new build available, I will notify on XDA, additionally you can check for new builds on SourceForge, site linked in the 1st post
-I am having xyz issue
A: First check if your issue is present on the Known Issues and then follow the method of reporting the issue if it is not present.
-Is the kernel upstreamed?
A: Yes, the kernel will always be upstreamed to the latest 3.18.y revision.
-How does the ROM perform? Battery? Performance? Heat?
A: Try it yourself and do not base opinions based on others observations, that is the worst way to utilise something free to use and open for everyone.
-I get an Error 7 when flashing the ROM in TWRP
A: You're using an outdated TWRP version, flash the latest TWRP from HERE

It only happens when you charge with USB cable plugged in computer. If you use the adapter then the problem's gone.

Will you build for Android O ?
when I do the first boot after flashing the phone stays in an infinite bootloop, I changed the kernel to the smartpack kernel and still has the same problem.
PD: I have a g900v just in case, I think it's not that problem because although the model is different the hardware is still the same, I install the roms of klte from time to time and I've never had this problem.
Thanks in advance

I have the same phone gonna test later and get back to you. If you happen to have a los/aosp boot.img saved in twrp you could restore that and have boot to system ROM. This is just my hypothesis. I will report back tomorrow with test findings. Good luck!

Can you build this for klteduos?
Not working on g900v. Twrp is throwing out a invalid signature code. Download was not corrupt. Didn't try to boot after that. Thanks for your hard work and will do whatever I can to help get problems sorted (test new build or contact someone smarter than me and ask for help) Must be an easy fix aka cherry pickled commit from los sources I think maybe?
I think the g900v got unified in march of 2017.
I'm am using twrp 3.2.1-0 and modem firmware and and bootloader are current addition.
Thanks for your work, patiently looking forward to this one and whatever other goodie you drop on us.

U need to follow that method
First take a internal storage backup first in to your pc.
1. Flash latest fastboot rom on your MI max 2 via pc
Fastboot rom
2. Flash Treble Recovery on your phone.
Orangefox Recovery
3. Now open recovery mode. Go to wipe section then wipe data /dalvik/system/vendor/
Format your phone. Connect your phone to pc using USB. U r on a recovery mode so go to mount section select all options for mount everything. If some option will not mount just lev it.
4. Download your favorite pie rom file into your pc.
Now copy your favourite Pie Rom Zip & Gapps to your internal storage.
5. Now come to your phone. Go to install section select ROM?+ Gapps+ magisk

ROMS UPDATE
Tested series:
AOSIP
Superior OS
Candy ROM
cr droid OS
Smoothness:
AOSIP is better than every OS in the list.
Battery:
Not that much difference as per my use.
Just some tweaks (as discussed in threads) settings in kernel auditor and you are good to go for the more than whole day.
BUGS:
AOSIP
Volume bar is on left side, and no settings to change for it.
Few glitched but will be resolved by next month update.
SUPERIOR OS
Whatsapp detecting for "custom ROM" can be either build error or some minor glitch.
CR DROID OS
Wasnt able to find the setting to turn off the hardware navbar.
CANDY ROM
Pretty ok.
UI is not that okay, and minor glitches for some apps (i.e., Apps crashing automatically)
Shout out @MaheshTechnicals for working on these ROMS.
Thanks a lot for keeping the 9.0 versions alive.

No issues.
Could you update me for the bug in AOSIP ROM.
The volume bar on the left, is there any settings which can be tweaked or is that a ROM bug?

Bug reporting:

Install instructions:
Have an unlocked bootloader, and TWRP installed/booted
(Not gonna be explained here, there'll be threads in this forum somewhere)
Wipe system and data (don't report anything bugs if you dirty flashed over another ROM)
Flash the ROM, Magisk, or any other mods (again, don't report bugs if you can't reproduce them with just ROM)
Reboot into the system, and enjoy the derpness!

Development started 2 months ago with broken realmeme stuffs. Our Devs have finally managed to make it stable enough and are releasing roms with source built base. They really have worked harder compared to other devices. Realmeme is a real pain when it comes to custom development.
Thanks Devs, Testers and contributers.
Thank you so much

AICP
Android Ice Cold Project
AICP is known by everyone as the "Ice Cold Project" that started on a Desire HD years ago (2012) and since then has evolved into a mature ROM with the BEST community that you can find!!!
Until Android Lollipop, the ROM has always been based on AOKP. Unfortunately, since AOKP stopped development (but made a comeback later), we changed our base to CM.
With the re-brand of CM to LineageOS (LOS), we became LineageOS based with some tweaks from AOSP and then changed to be based on the "Ground Zero Open Source Project" (GZOSP) for Android Pie.
We changed again for Android Q-R with a base of AOSP repositories and some additions from LineageOS for device-specific repositories.
If there are any bugs we will sort them out if it concerns our codebase. This ROM isn't LineageOS supported, so there is no need to report errors/bugs to them!!
Code:
#include <std_disclaimer.h>
/*
* Your warranty is now void.
*
* We are not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
* thermonuclear war or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
* do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
* before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications and if
* you point the finger at us for messing up your device, we will laugh at you. Hard & a lot.
*

FAQ:
Before using the ROM:
Q. Can I have an ETA for the next build?
A. For beta builds, no. For officials, yes, just look here to see what day your device is built on.
Q. Does this ROM support custom kernels officially?
A. No. You can still use them, but the discussion should go in the thread of the respective kernel. We don't offer support for bugs you might encounter while using them!
Flashing the ROM:
Q. What do I need to know before flashing?
A. Check the flashing instructions...
Q. Can the builds be dirty flashed over each other?
A. Yes, this is the usual behavior on flashing a new official build by (or using) the build-in updater service.
Q. How do I 'dirty flash' builds?
A. Use the built-in Updater app. If using beta builds reboot to recovery, flash ROM and recovery solution if required. rebooting and reinstalling gapps is not required if NikGapps are used.
Q. How do I flash kernel builds?
A1. If it's a .img file, boot into TWRP and go to the install page in TWRP, in the bottom right corner select "install image", select the desired kernel, then select "boot" as the destination, then swipe to flash, then go back to the install screen and install your root method again, if you don't want to lose root and reboot.
A2. If it's a flashable ZIP, you can flash it together with a ROM update or separately. Go to the install page in TWRP, choose the kernel zip (or add it to the flash queue right after the ROM zip). Then add your root method to the queue if you don't want to lose root. Now swipe to flash and reboot afterward.
Using the ROM:
Q. Do I need to provide a logcat if I'm reporting a bug?
A. If you want it to be fixed faster (or at all) then yes, you should definitely provide a logcat AND the model name. (Note: Please just link the logcat from your GDrive, Dropbox, etc. Do not post the content here. Thanks.)
Q. How do I get a logcat, what type should I get, and more questions that can conveniently be answered by my pre-determined answer?
A1. Read this thoroughly. Also, here's a good app for getting logs: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tortel.syslog (Root needed).
A2. If you are already rooted, you can use the built-in feature to make a logcat and provide that. Just look into the others section on the AICP Extras main page.
The ROM should contain everything you need to enjoy Android R. You don't need to install any Add-ons, simply download the latest ROM and GApps, then follow the flashing instructions and go!
If you want the device to run the ROM "rooted", you can flash a root solution of your choice after the ROM zip file.
It is STRONGLY recommended to fully wipe your device before flashing and please avoid restoring system apps and system data with Titanium Backup (or with any backup/restore app) as this can cause stability issues that are very hard to debug, restoring regular apps is fine though.
If you believe you know what you're doing - then fine, go ahead, but please don't complain if you experience any strange behavior.
How to flash for the first time:
(Again: Don't do it if you don't know!)
1. Flash OOS 10.3.9 or higher to both slots
2. Download the ROM and GApps.
3. Boot to recovery (TWRP recommended).
4. Wipe the System, Cache, and Data (you might need to format the data partition!). DO NOT WIPE VENDOR
5. Flash the ROM zip file.
6. Reboot back into TWRP recovery.
7. Flash the GApps (optional, needed for e.g. Google Playstore to work).
8. (optional) flash LineageOS copy-partitions zip to ensure your new AICP is on both slots.
9. Reboot and set up your device, enable developer settings and in them, OEM unlock/Advanced reboot/USB debugging.
NOTE: You may find your first boot to the new AICP system only boots to LineageOS recovery. If so, wipe data from the LOS recovery and reboot.
10. Reboot back into TWRP recovery.
11. (optional) Flash the root solution of your choice.
12. Reboot your device.
The procedure may vary from device to device and is a bit different on system updates!
The ROM has GApps persistence in between dirty flashes, so you only have to flash them once!
Currently supported Root Solution:
Magisk stable
