Only MM, NG and Oreo based on B32 Bootstack. To used official Oreo 8.0.0 use special version 3.2.1-6 Exclusive (he support decrypt partition /data).

More information is needed. Is SD card FAT32? Does failure happen during a certain part (/data backup)?
Did backups work before?
Awhile back in the Q&A section someone reported that he cannot do backups with TWRP 3.2 onto SD card. TWRP is no longer breaking up the files as it has always done. So now 6GB of data is being written / backed up as one huge file. That will fail on FAT32.
I pointed the user to this TWRP build hoping the issue wouldn't be there. It still is.
TWRP 3.2 on my G3 doesn't have this issue and backs up as it should (data broken up into smaller bits).

Also developers Tried to port CAF kernel source But unfortunately not booting. Beacause xiaomi uses diffrent type of drivers in our Xiaomi redmi 4A. thats why they failed. look MI max 2 and MI A1 this devices gets kernel source code. But Redmi 4A (rolex) Still not relaesed. if i contact mi support they not respand. still nott received miui 9 stable update , beta update also not good , poor ram managemant., ads displying (mi explorer), Apps crashing , and some stock futures missing .

If you boot to an official MIUI ROM, the recovery will be overwritten by the Xiaomi's recovery most of the times, so try not to boot to MIUI after flashing the recovery.
ROM flashing instructions:
Save the ROM in a storage that you can access from recovery (SD card, for example).
Flash a provided boot.img and boot into it, as described above.
Search for the ROM and flash it.

Recovery flashing instructions:
Boot your device on fastboot mode (pressing volume - and power with the phone powered off / right after a reboot).
Open a command prompt on the computer, and with the phone connected to it, run: fastboot flash boot path\to\the\recovery
Once flashed, reboot to the recovery (pressing volume + and power with the phone powered off / right after a reboot).
You should now be on the recovery mode.
If you boot to an official MIUI ROM, the recovery will be overwritten by the Xiaomi's recovery most of the times, so try not to boot to MIUI after flashing the recovery.
ROM flashing instructions:
Save the ROM in a storage that you can access from recovery (SD card, for example).
Flash a provided boot.img and boot into it, as described above.
Search for the ROM and flash it.
Once flashed, you must format data for avoiding any kind of issues.
Reboot to system.
You should now be booted after the bootanimation.
DON'T FLASH GAPPS, THEY ARE ALREADY INCLUDED

Bro this is custom rom not gsi rom
So before flash this rom try to learn how to fix
How to unbrick phone other and make your phone backup and most importantly imei backup in most important then read flashing method for this rom then flash this rom And try to make video fo it

that's the mistake, these cheap phone cannot be used for gaming, or maybe run games but not in high settings if you get it
