Installation
- You need an unlocked Xiaomi Mi 6 with TWRP 3.2.1-1.
- Wipe everything and Format Data -yes
- Install Firmware 8.4.19
- Install the Final Oreo build
- Install Gapps (Arm64, A8.1.0)
- Install Magisk (optional)
- Enjoy Resurrection Remix V.6.2.0
Update Instructions
- Download latest build & GApps
- Boot into this TWRP : https://github.com/xiaomi-msm8998/device_xiaomi_sagit/releases/tag/3.2.3-2-arian
- Wipe system, cache and dalvik cache
- Flash the (recommended Firmware,) ROM and GApps
- Let RR boot, then reboot to TWRP and install Magisk
- Enjoy ResurrectionRemix Oreo

Yes, SELinux is enforcing. and Rom is FBE.

Stock Camera is Snap Camera atm, but mb will be replaced by miui cam maybe in future builds.
It`s the official TWRP, without force encryption and 0mb Issue.

ATM the biggest difference is that the official Variant offers Support for OTA.

Yes its 4.4.78 Kernel. I havent tried custom kernels, but it should work

I`m sorry it isn`t integrated in official variant atm. Won't be added in future builds.

Battery Life is okay, im getting 6-7h SOT. Should be similar to Los, probably a bit lower.

Want to know only two things.
1st deep sleep. Many 7.1 roms go to deep sleep and doesn't waken when pressing power button
2nd Many 7.1 based roms getting random reboots. Is it also getting reboots?

Glad to see this! Couple of questions though. I know that you only just realised this but do you recon it's stable enough for daily use? and im guessing there is no cm theme engine so does it support substratum?

How is this build different from OFFICIAL builds?
This Build has OMS (Overlay Manager Service) support which Substratum application uses to apply themes.
Also there is a patch to allow Audio Mod's to run in Enforcing SeLinux.

There are 2 options on build.prop: "16bit= false" and "24bit=false"; make them true and it should become 24 bit

The best thing that no need to flash firmware. So VoLTE will work in seconday rom using DualBoot Patcher.
Edit: volte not working in secondary rom.

Help...When i'm trying to install another application from 3rd market, I can't insttaled that app, because installer menu can't responsive

Pls add wireless display display feature...it was there in RR unofficial by ccass....!!...other than that none of the ROMs out there include that feature....please include that feature in the next build

- For best results have latest firmware already installed. (Build NOF26W)
- Download the latest build
- Recommended - Factory reset and wipe Dalvik/Art Cache
- Flash ROM using TWRP RC1 Recovery
- Flash TWRP RC1.zip again.
- Reboot.
- First boot will take a couple mins.
- Gapps are built into this ROM. That is going to change with future releases.

Says I have to flash the Rogers vendor image. Itbsays Rogers only on google. Advice?

I've only ever flashed PN since rooting my pixel. When I wipe can I leave the data partition with my files? Do I need a vendor img like that other rom? Sorry just new to pixel so I don't want to screw it up.

Wipe cache, system, and data. You don't have to wipe internal storage. Yes you need a vendor image https://www.dropbox.com/s/tnmmxnmplr3ar3f/sailfish_nof26v.img?dl=0 flash TWRP installer right after the ROM or you will lose your recovery.

I flashed that vendor image and it still gives me a mismatch error? Yeah for some reason it is calling for a Rogers only vendor image? Is there any problems with flashing this image?
Edit: Went ahead and flashed the Rogers image and all seems to work perfectly.

Flashed the ROM today, and i can say that this build of the RR N ROM has literally all the features expected from a custom ROM.
ROM is smooth and fast, good RAM management.
I have flashed N ROMs of AICP,AOKP,OCT OS, and clearly this build of the ROM has more features than all the other stated ROM's.
There is Just one bug that i have found common in all the other N ROMs too i.e.
When i try to open a protected App from within, settings-->privacy-->protected apps, i get an error message "Settings App has stopped !!".
Thats the only Bug.
I have to test the battery life now.

Flashed the ROM today, and i can say that this build of the RR N ROM has literally all the features expected from a custom ROM.
ROM is smooth and fast, good RAM management.
I have flashed N ROMs of AICP,AOKP,OCT OS, and clearly this build of the ROM has more features than all the other stated ROM's.
There is Just one bug that i have found common in all the other N ROMs too i.e.
When i try to open a protected App from within, settings-->privacy-->protected apps, i get an error message "Settings App has stopped !!".
Thats the only Bug.
I have to test the battery life now.

Forgot to mention, my model number is, gt-i9192, dual sim

i9190 working for about 3 hours. Quite stable for now.

Hi.
I flashed it in my i9195 (serranoltexx) and lost the root feature. The apps which need a rootd phone say that the device is not rooted. I have installed magisk manager and SU and they say the phone is not rooted. So I have had to roll back to AICP which is working well.

the builds are rootless from day one.
i never included root by default.
I'll include root from next builds

All three variants are available to download on sourceforge
Those who update to official version from unofficial please perform a clean flash.

Is the keyboard have a numbers row ?

Number row by default-no.
Aosp keyboards don't have that by default.

Clean install with latest firmware is recommended.
I am using it from yesterday, no bugs for me. But cannot say that it is bugless as there may be many featured which i haven't tried yet.

Im test it
My feeling is that the battery consumption in this ROM is as high as the Efficiency mode in the kenzolo ROM.And by using the power save mode in kenzolo, Battery consumption can be reduced further
And battery performance isn't added to the battery settings
Apart from these, it has a great performance in all areas:good:
Of course this is just my own opinion

i dont think it would be that easy. the RR builds rely on different sources and dev trees, each dev has his own little tweaks and tricks up his sleeve. besides, theyre all exchanging ideas and helping each other already, so its best of both worlds: helping each other out with issues but keeping their own dev style. so its less bugs and more choice for us users
and dont forget: the more devs, the merrier! and the more custom roms
