Hi all users
My imei is corrupt : 35000000000000 / 22
I need a efs backup please
someone can help me?
Thank you
I'm sorry. If you didn't take one before it got corrupted, you are pretty much out of luck. Another user can not give you theirs as you will have their imei number. You will either need to send it in to Samsung for service or there are services online to repair the efs and I'm not sure how much either option would cost.

My phone is hard delete. I need Mi 8 64gb China version recovery files. modemst1, modemst2 and fsg. I need backup files to repair.
Please send someone with backup files please or take backup and send me.
What does 'hard delete' mean?! Maybe it will be clearer if you explain what you did...
Anyways you can try downloading loading a Fastboot MIUI ROM file and flash using mi flash in Fastboot mode.

Have you tried reflashing the whole system using Miflash? Should restore everything. And I have no idea why you would try to delete those files.

He tried to modify the IMEI for some reason, however the mi 8 does not support IMEI spoofing and you WILL NOT get any service with any IMEI that is not that of the hardware.

I don't see how my back up will help, since my IMEI number is different from yours. And sorry I will not share my personal backup for safety reasons. Best of luck!

Hello,
I have similar problem with Mi Max 3. I know this section is for Mi 8, not for Mi Max 3. But I asked at Mi Max 3 section but I did not get response.
I have accidentally deleted EFS partitions (modemst1, modemst2 and fsg) and I don't have EFS backup. Now I must restore original IMEI numbers to my Mi Max 3. I tried to restore original IMEI numbers with QCN method. IMEI numbers seems to be restored after QCN restore, but phone does not get any GSM signal. It does not connect to GSM network, even I can see IMEI numbers with *#06#.
Currently MIUI 9.6.7 global is installed at Mi Max 3. If I will flash 9.6.6 global fastboot ROM with mi flash tool, will I get my original IMEI numbers back and can I connect to GSM network with Mi Max 3?
Or any other suggestion to restore original IMEI numbers?
PS: I don't want to change IMEI numbers. I just want my original IMEI numbers back and be able to connect GSM network again.
Thanks for help

Worse than I can not send to the assistance, I'm from Brazil and I ended up importing the cell phone ...
I have all the data in the box, but unfortunately Brazil's assistance does not cover imported phones.
Did you solve something friend?
If you don't have EFS backup you can have working only 2nd slot
Xaiomi Pocophone F1 has bands 2 and 4 locked. Needed for LTE in the USA.
We need somebody with a rooted Mi 8 to do a QCN backup of their device.
This will help us in potentially unlocking our devices LTE bands.
I would appreciate it greatly.
There are instructions on what we need here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/poco-f1/help/poco-f1-lte-bands-unlock-t3835467
bitcoin donation to the first uploader
shouldn't be very difficult.
I'll see if I got time after work to make a backup

Hello friend, see if you can help me please.
I've tried everything and I can not solve my problem.
My mi 8 crashed and broke the screen, I changed the display and the battery, after that I was without signal and without wi-fi.
I tried several procedures on the internet until I lost my imei and my mac adress.
I read that I would have to restore qcn file, however I did not back up.
I'm from Brazil and here is no assistance from Xiaomi
I have the imeis that comes in the product box. I just wanted to write you again, but I can not
Would you be very kind and send me this backup qcn?
Thank you very much.
You guys can try flashing fastboot rom, which reflashes the modems. It worked for me.

Hello, I've tried flashing a few fastboot rom, custom, stock, downgrade and nothing.
I've even tried to restart in diag port mode and use the program to write imeie also could not. I think the last attempt would be to backup qcn.
Would you like to help me, my friend?
Hello, i have a mi note 3 with lost mac address and imei, why there is too much of People that have the same issue?

I read many reports on the internet about this problem, mine started with the display change, after that I was without a network signal (sim card) and wifi.
I tried so many procedures that I was without imei and mac adress.
In my case I think only the qcn file.
Did you solve it?

I have a Mi8 rooted. Can i help you ?
Hello,
I'm in quite the panic, as this is my daily driver.
It has been about 6 years since I have been on the XDA scene, and boy do I feel silly. I made the cardinal sin of not making back ups and plunging into a exciting tutorial on here to enable voLTE on my ROG 2. At some point the requested commands were executed as per the thread:
fastboot erase modemst1
fastboot erase modemst2

Since this point, my phone has been completely without service, and after nearly 12 hours of trying numerous fixes, I ask for help of the kind users of XDA once again.
My phone does have the boot loader unlocked, and is rooted. I have tried nearly every IMEI and EFS restore option on here, and even went as far as trying similar QCN and EFS flashes of other phones with the same chipset to no avail.
I believe at this point I need a kind user to upload their EFS partitions, or QCN backups (of course with their information masked) so I may flash my phone and edit my IMEI in the image. Or if anyone else knows of a better method im all ears.
Thank you all in advanced.
i guess someone earlier had a similar issue and was provided with the QCN file.

That would be lovely Thanks for the info.
So I did a stupid and flashed over a single-sim N9600's EFS partition with a dual-sim N9600's, and now the single-sim one won't accept any SIM cards with an invalid/network locked SIM error. I've tried just about everything besides zeroing the EFS (because I don't know how to to that) and so all I can do now is ask all of you beautiful people if anyone could share a TWRP EFS backup from a single-sim N9600 to (hopefully) save mine.
My apologies for being dumb, and thanks in advance everyone.

I'm not so sure you can use EFS from one other phone, but if it works then, what consequences might have the owner of the original phone if there is in question security breach?!

I'm not 100% sure myself, but some if the Snapdragon devs said it might be able to rescue it. As for security concerns, what sort of security breaches would you be referring to?

EFS is my phone identify, imei and serial number is in it, if happen to do something illegally over internet, social-media, money laundering or any other crazy things, justice might or will hold me accountable, and is not good idea for me to share that.
But, i think is better for you to check about how to resolve EFS problem, there is e developer who posted one article about to rescue or generate and solve this problem, so check about note edge or note4 as much as i remember.

Fair enough. What's odd is that the IMEI still matches the phone itself. When I didn't know what I was doing and overwrote the EFS partition with the backup TWRP did say the restore failed, and was unable to write, but the devs said seeing that was normal. Could the problem be the modem partition instead, or something?
I saw the Note 4/etc threads about zeroing EFS, but since they're quite old I wasn't sure if those instructions still applied to newer devices and if they would break things further than they already are. Should I make another thread asking about that for contemporary devices or would those old instructions still be okay?
