Installation Instructions:
1) If you are coming from an other rom: Factory reset, Full Wipe, Data, Cache, System
2) Flash ROM then Gapps
3) Flash your choice of Superuser
(SuperSU found at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1538053)
Note: Always flash SuperSU last to avoid problems. If you choose to dirty flash wipe system partition then flash everything again in this order above ^^^. DO NOT FORGET TO MAKE A BACKUP FIRST!!!
Please note that first boot will last a bit longer, can take till up to 10 min, so just wait and have a coffee

Btw its 5.0.2 or 5.1...buildprop had build number and id as 5.1 while certain places its 5.0.1...confused

Wow, heard a lot of good things about this rom in the N5 forum, can't wait to try the 5.1 version of this rom once it's released

There is still no 5.1 factory image for the N4 out, but sources of Cl3Kener are mainly for N5 and others and so the Rom is already "prepared" for 5.1 I am not sure whether it is already everything merged, think several things are still in progress, but build number and version number already shows 5.1....even so he hasn't released the 5.1 yet, so take it as a good mix or cocktail and stay tuned .

What does custom apn do? I'm not sure what it means :\

If I am not mistaken, in device sources is a separate apn.xml, which some additional apns to the default xml. Nothing spectacular .

All is working well...clean flashed...but are you using dark-rebase ?
Cos nothing is dark in this
Everything is white
Though...https://github.com/OptiPop/packages_apps_Contacts/commits/rebase-dark has commits for dark ui ?
Any reason for that ?

Many thanks for the info...I noticed that too yesterday, but it was quite late and I was quite sure that I used the dark rebase branch...rechecked the manifests again and saw my mistake and confirm that its the white rebase version...I will rename everything and sorry for confusion!!! (btw: new version full featured and dark is in the ofen )

So basically as the app is installed, the installer will fc instead of letting you select "Done" or "Open". Nothing that has a real negative impact as the app is fully installed with no problems at all. Btw, if I want to install another kernel, do I have to flash stock before installing the other kernel?

Just flashed francos kernel only just on top without problems.

Fantastic waiting for the dark one....

Btw when you install an apk after the installation completes you get a message packages installer force closed...though app is installed all right...
Rom is smooth and loving it...
Just compile a dark one soon as rebase-dark is more updated than white one if u check the commits too

Not sure what happened but when I flashed stock kernel from flashify it ended with a bootloop, now trying to dirty flash rom then followed by semaphore 3.0.5.

Rom sounds very nice. What about the gapps? Can I use more actual ones? Like Banks Gapps?

I have tested with PA Gapps and unfortunately, they don't work with this ROM. I'm using latest TWRP and is says Installation failed due to incompatible Android Version. I'm not sure if it's because it reads the rom as 5.1 but really it's 5.0.2.
Do you think you can fix this problem? I had to boot without gapps and I'm just awaiting till this gets fixed

HOW-TO Install the rom:
0. Make sure you have ticked OEM Unlock in Developer settings!
1. Download latest bootloader and modem from here:
Bootloader/Modem
2. Download latest odin
3. Flash BL in BL tab and CP in CP tab of odin. Then follow the steps on this side until you get a working custom recovery: TWRP
4. If you are done with bootloader, modem and recovery we can move on, boot into twrp holding power, home button and volume up while phone is powered off
5. This will delete all your personal data! Click on wipe, format data and type "yes"
6. Wait until it is finished then click reboot, reboot to recovery
7. Now connect your phone to PC and copy the rom file inside your internal or external sd card
8. Flash the rom and wait until it is finished
9. Reboot your phone and enjoy !
10. During initial setup, do not enable private folder (because it does not work yet) and will get an encryption error if enabled!

Hello I was just wondering if I select S7E UI, will the camera UI go back to s7e UI as well? How about setting wise? Eventhough a certain camera modes have been fixed in the oast for Samsung isocell, the image quality from n7 port is very bad and very obvious when placed s7e and n7 port images side by side. Several users with samsung isocell camera sensor have confirmed this on the other thread

No. Only systemUI.
Also for camera: no one had issues for camera quality. But check yourself

Are you planning to add mods or implement a ROMcontrol if ROM would be fast enough on deodex? I am asking because SuperMan is a perfect ROM for everyday use for an experienced Android user.

You misunderstood me. I was asking if you are planning to implement mods when there would be a possibility to get deodexed ROM.

When it would be turned on you would not be able to install the rom after all

Is "OEM UNLOCK " not supposed to allow the installation of custom roms? I guess that's why it's always advised to have it turned on before installing custom roms etc.. Please correct me if i'm wrong. Just trying to be sure about this.

Yes it is. But I say to you: if it would be disabled, the rom would not work and your phone would not boot.
If you give me some logs about switch not working I can fix it

Hey guys! Here we are another time
Assuming that you already know me more or less, this rom is based upon latest Samsung Experience 8.5 (Android 7.1.1). I really love the Samung UI, that's why I work on those roms and not on AOSP such as LineageOS, I know I'm a little fanboy
Coming to the features, it's similar to the ones you'll find on my other roms such as BatMan-Rom (for the S8/S8+ and S7/S7e) or the SuperMan-Rom (for the S7/S7e) or even the EOL (End Of Life) HydraRom (for the glorious N7) :good:
The Rom itself contains many many custom features via RomControl, I'll list the most important ones below, still you are very welcome to try them all via the RomControl app (choosable in aroma). Now enough talking, wish you much fun flashing the rom and hope you'll enjoy it! :fingers-crossed:

How to install the rom:
For advanced users:
0. Make sure to have a backup somewhere on external storage
1. Make sure to be on most recent TWRP, bootloader and modem
2. Flash the rom
3. If you need VoLTE or Wifi Calling, flash your correct carrier CSC
4. Done :highfive:
For normal users:
0. Boot your phone, enable OEM unlock in developer settings
1. Flash TWRP with Odin, following this thread Galaxy S7e TWRP until it works correctly (to access download mode, press home+volume down+power on while phone is turned off)
2. Make sure you are using most recent bootloader and modem, latest one available here on Android File Host
3. Now boot into TWRP by pressing home+volume up+power on while phone is turned off
4. If TWRP asks you about allowing system to be edited, swipe yes to confirm
5. In TWRP, go to wipe, format data (a keyboard will pop up now), type "yes" (this will wipe all your data, make sure to have a backup!)
6. After this, reboot recovery and start the rom installer
7. Select your preferences in my aroma installer
8. If you selected to auto update bootloader in aroma, the installer will reboot automatically
9. You can still install my CSC selection if you are customer of a carrier which is not supported by default CSC inside the rom
10. Wait till the rom boots up
11. After setting up, open IronControl Free and let the app apply my default settings!
12. Enjoy the rom!

Known Bugs:
- Iris scanner (if you know how to implement an iris scanner into a s7 let me know )
- face unlock by samsung, we have trusted face by google instead
- Back key light not working due to the fact, that the Note 8 and Galaxy S8 don't have hardware buttons anymore. We need to wait for a similar device as the S7 to get android 7.1.1 to fix it
- Knox related features such as secure folder, samsung pay or samsung pass may not work any longer after rooting your phone

Just as a small addition:
If you are using any 3rd party kernel (not the included IronKernel) you may want to ask your developer to include this wifi hotspot fix. Using 3rd party kernel will break the hotspot function!!
Please, again. If this issue happens it's not an issue with the rom BUT the kernel. I hope all devs will include it for n8 ports

Lovely, downloading now. Can I ask if the SPen options in the settings menu have been removed? And is it worth dirty flashing over Batman 1.5 or would you expect issues?

Spen not removed because the same rom can be installed on n8 devices. I think n8 users would kill me

Update: The battery life is same as S7 edge stock.... I guess my battery is deteriorated from charging the phone too much.....

Rom did not install Applock although I found it in Aroma. It is not selected

I wish you could make this for my N910T.

Yes, i tried to copy "cscfeature.xml" & applock.apk from another rom (Note 8 DX port rom) and it work fine

Yeah, haven't tested it myself, but hopefully it could work. OnePlus unified the op6 and op6t sources into one project with one common default configuration, so I'm positive.
I have some doubts about the cleanslate high brightness mode because the fingerprint reader on 6t uses hbm too.
We will see how it works...

It is using marginally increased battery, I couldn't really see it eating the battery away. You can play around with how often it flashes. Also it can be set to only do flash when the phone is face down on a surface, not in your pocket, or in hand.
It's also done in a CPU sleep time friendly manner, to not interrupt the Deepsleep more than the bare minimum needed.

Works again fingerprint!!!!!

Installation Guide
Firstly install CleanSlate configuration and CleanSlate companion apps on your phone (both found down below in Download section). Set them up initially.
- Non-rooted method: 0. download the non-rooted boot img
1. reboot to bootloader (adb reboot-bootloader)
2. temporary boot cleanslate_x.y.z_stock_20xx-xx-xx.img (fastboot boot cleanslate.......img)
3. if everything went fine, you can reboot to bootloader and flash the image: fastboot flash boot cleanslate.......img
4. reboot, enjoy
- Rooted method: 0. download the installer zip
1. install magisk and a capable kernel manager like EXKM/FrancoKernel
2. flash the cleanslate installer zip from the kernel manager

Is there a major issue with it? I see some updates by OnePlus related to screen's edge touch sensitivity.
Actually I'm not sure how it works on the Op8Pro, but it's a possibility to disable some touch areas like the edges, if that is something good on the edges..
Maybe a possibility to switch off edge touch area completely/temporarily is something you think would help?
Unfortunately I don't have the phone, so I'm relying on input and results from people who actually can test.
First I'd like to see if the kernel works at all, hopefully we will see that too.

Will this work on the regular oneplus 8?

Me and many other users experience some kind of touchlag, especially on qhd resolution.
It's not just the edges - you can really notice that kinda lag when typing for examples.
The screen feels dull and not as responsive as e.g. on the 7 pro.
And no, this should not be hardware related since this is my 3. Unit and all of the 3 phones had that issue. There is already a thread on xda and the oneplus community about it.
Another user has the theory of frame drops but idk what exactly is the particular reason.

I have no idea yet. As far as I understand it could work actually, but I haven't checked the differences between the device boot images.
The source is the same and there's only one default config in the tree released by OnePlus.
If temporary booting works with the OnePlus 8/pro it could be relatively risk free to try, but I don't have any of the devices unfortunately.
Kernels on 6/6t worked fine between devices, but I'm unable to promise it will.

8 Pro 12/256 model. This version went into crashdump mode as well.

maybe phone cannot boot kernel without flashing.
try stock boot.img and running fastboot boot on it.
if that works then yes kernel does not work

Yep, we tried that with @blaze9090 and a repacked stock kernel image works to be temp booted fortunately, and that's how one of the rooting methods also works if I understand it correctly.

Here's an image where all extra commits related to skip_override / verity/unlock hiding commits were reverted, so mostly stock probably as much as possible. Without magisk only this time, 1.0.0v4
I don't have high hopes for this one, but right now I'm out of ideas...yet
