dude, better read up on the custom rom threads! we are very close to getting official, bugfree and fully stable roms, only 2-3 small issues left, thats it. oreo is also in development in the background, just not ready for publication yet. be patient, my young padawan

Mi A1 stock rom is really stable, but the Pixel Experience is absolutely better.

Hello, after trying several custom rom I do not finish being happy with any, basically I do not see them stable. There is always some failure to polish.
Why do you think Pixel Experience is better?

Becouse with PE and fk i can reach 8-9h SOT with really good performance and stability.

I just received my mi9 and I don't like at all this stock MIUI rom.
First thing, where can I see if I have the EEA, or global ROM ?
And secondly, after unlocking my device and flashing twrp, what rom could be the best ? Maybe xiaomi.eu, revolutionOS, flokoRom ?
No AOSP based ROM at the moment ( I would love to flash an AOSP based ROM , like my good old One plus 3 )
And battery life is just horrible in stock ROM..

You could try GSI roms, but they are not stable enough for me right now.
Im now on ROS. With magisk and lawnchair it's running great and feels a lil bit like aosp. Better than stock

Try the latest Gloabal Dev, honestly, with a newly coming Xiaomi phones, usually I found the stable is not as stable as Dev versions [emoji23][emoji23]

You should read the FAQ and forum before asking such questions, as a senior member you should know that
Anyways, unlocking usually requires a 15 day waiting / grace-period, so I'd start doing that now and you'll have another two weeks to read all the ROM/flash/root topics here.

the best rom is stock rooted
the second best rom for me is Bliss Rom
*this is heavily based on taste and usage case ...it's a really subjective question with no real answer
The question of the best rom often comes up. There is no "best" rom, it depends on the user but also on the updates. Pixel for example is bad for me in battery but very good for others. Derpfest had a bad update and the last one is excellent, I'm using it daily. The best is to try several roms and choose one. After if tomorrow there is an update you may have to change.

I'm also wondering the same question. As some the roms list only 'sweet' as the compatible device, while 'sweet' and 'sweetin' share almost the same internal components.

I did the research, We can't Install Sweet ROM on Sweetin, I mean we can, but you will experience some problems , especially about camera, and the performance and battery life will not be as good as the stock sweetin rom, we don't need Sweet ROM, actually Indian ROM is pretty good...

You're Welcome, I'm Using The Latest Stock Indian ROM (V12.5.10.0.RKFINXM), It's really Stable and Smooth, I've never experienced any lag, Battery Life is Great Too. MIUI 13 Will be Release For this Device till the end of March.
@idell I'm also on the same version. I've always been fond of Pixel Experience but hesitant to switch in fear of MIUI goodies. Otherwise, battery life of MIUI is good, around 7.5-8hrs of SOT on regular usage.
