ABOUT LOS
Lineage OS is a free and open-source operating system for smartphones and tablet computers, based on the Android mobile platform. It is the successor to the custom ROM CyanogenMod, from which it was forked in December 2016 when Cyanogen Inc.announced it was discontinuing development and shut down the infrastructure behind the project.Since Cyanogen Inc. retained the rights to the Cyanogen name, the project rebranded its fork as Lineage OS.
Lineage OS was officially launched on December 24, 2016, with the source code available on GitHub. Since that time Lineage OS development builds now cover more than 185 phone models with over 1.9 million active installs, having doubled its user base in the month February–March 2017.
Preinstalled apps
LineageOS includes many essential and useful apps, but, like its predecessor CyanogenMod, is free from the bloatware often pre-installed by a phone's manufacturer or carrier.
AudioFX – Audio optimizer with presets to alter the listening experience.
Browser – A lightweight browser that relies on the System Webview, for low-end devices, also known as Jelly.
Calculator – which resembles a four-function calculator and offers some more advanced functions.
Calendar – Calendar functionality with Day, Week Month, Year or Agenda views.
Camera – Dependent on device specification will take video or photos, including panoramic. It can also be used to read QR codes. This app is formerly known as Snap.
Clock – World clock, countdown timer, stopwatch and alarms.
Contacts – Phonebook for numbers and email addresses.
Email – Email client that handles POP3, IMAP and Exchange.
Files – Simple file manager to move, copy and rename files on internal storage or SD card.
FlipFlap – An app for smart flip covers, only included on select devices.
Gallery – Organise photos and videos into a timeline or albums for easy viewing.
Messaging – SMS messaging.
Music – A music player, formerly known as Eleven.
Phone – for making calls. Includes speed dial, phone number lookups and call blocking.
Recorder – A screen and/or sound recorder.
Trebuchet – A customizable launcher that supports protected apps.
Although they are not included by default due to legal issues, users can flash the normal Google apps, including the Google Play Store and Play Apps with a gapps zip package.

Task'd is the premiere task manager and to-do list app for Android™ devices. It was designed with the user in mind to be beautiful, functional, and simple. The goal is to help you, the user, better manage your priorities and schedule.
The user interface is intuitive, with clearly marked and recognizable icons. Everything is right at your fingers, not hidden inside some obscure menu or tab. Editing a task is as simple as clicking it in the main list. Want to delete a task? Just long-press it and click delete.
Each task you create must have a name and a priority. Optionally, it can also have a due date and a description containing more details.
You can sort your tasks by priority (default), due date, order added, and alphabetically. You can also change the date format if you use a different standard than the default MM-DD-YYYY.
The full version of Task'd also includes a 4x1 homescreen widget that allows you to see all your tasks, or create a new one.
The free version will always remain one update behind the full version. Currently, it is only lacking the widget. Once the full version receives an update, the free version will get the widget, but not the new features. Bug fixes will still be rolled out as necessary.
Of course, the obligatory screenshots are attached at the end of the post. As for the QR codes with Market links:

An internet connection is required for syncing to Google Tasks. You can run it offline for periods, but it's main purpose is to be connected to Google Tasks at it's heart, so it uses your Google account and requires internet connection to retrieve your tasks when you first open the app, after that you can open the app without internet and modify things and sync later.
it is really what i want
I couldnt find the users and restricted profile feature on my Xperia Z after the 4.3 update.
Isnt that one of the biggest features of 4.3?
If yes, then how do we access it?

Hi friend ...
User Profile Feature is exclusively for Xperia Z Tab which offers multiple users to create their own profile and customize it according to their own needs.

THREAD CLOSED
Here's a slightly modified version of AOSP for the first generation Pixel (Sailfish).
This is not a ROM that is going to blow you away with all the bells and whistles you can think of. This is my personalized version of AOSP. I've added just a few tweaks and features that I find useful. After spending a little while customizing it, and then using it for a few days, it's at a point where things seem to be working well. I'm uploading it in case anyone else wants to use it.
Features
Since I made this ROM for my own use, all of the features below are enabled by default. You won't find anything in Settings to enable or disable them.
Pixel-specific features such as Google Lens and unlimited photo storage working.
Minimum brightness set to 1 (Pixel default is 4).
Tethering enabled (net.tethering.noprovisioning=true in default.prop).
Increased media volume steps (ro.config.media_vol_steps=30 in default.prop).
Plug/Unplug does not turn screen on.
Long press back (3 seconds) to kill foreground app.
Long press power when screen is off for flashlight. Automatically turns off after 10 minutes.
Long press volume buttons when screen is off to skip tracks.
Enabled network activity indicators. This is not the activity monitor with the upload/download speed that takes up a lot of space in the status bar. These are the very tiny indicators contained in the same area of the WiFi & mobile signal status icons:

Google Apps
I've included some Google Apps from OpenGapps. I started with the smallest base package possible (pico), and then added to it. The apps I chose to include were mainly the ones that replace default AOSP apps.
Google Apps Included:
Open Gapps pico package
Google Chrome
Google WebView (ROM is also patched the allow Chrome to be chosen as the default webview in Developer settings)
Gmail (replaces stock email app)
Google Calendar
Google Calculator
Google Clock
Google Photos (replaces Gallery)
Google Contacts
Google Dialer
Google Camera
Google Messages (replaces Messaging)
Google Device Health Services
Google Wallpapers
Pixel Icons
Notable Gapps not included:
Google Now Launcher & Pixel Launcher. I use Nova Launcher, so I didn't include these.
Google Play Music. I don't use this app, but since it's not included the stock AOSP Music app is included. I just disable this so I don't have to see it in the app drawer.
Google App (Search). I found that including this package gives you both the old-style Google Now and the new Google Assistant. By leaving this out, long press on the home button doesn't do anything by default. I then installed just Google Search through the Play Store without installing the separate Google Assistant app. With this configuration, a long press on home brings up Google Now like it did back in the KitKat days. None of that annoying assistant talking to me.
The AOSP search app is included in this ROM, since nothing overrides it. I also recommend you disable this.
Download
MOD EDIT: DOWNLOAD LINK REMOVED
(Built from AOSP source version 8.1.0 r10. Security Patch Level of February 8, 2018.)
Install
Flash via TWRP, wipe cache/Dalvik, and reboot.
However, TWRP version 3.2.1 throws an error when installing OTA files (I'm not sure why). I successfully flash with TWRP 3.2.0, so that's what I recommend.
Feedback
Most of the tweaks I added were done by editing res values in overlays, or by manually adding features from the source of other ROMs. (Thanks to crDroid and CypherOS). My day job is as a DBA and I know my way around Linux pretty well, but I'm not a developer. Because of this, I'm unlikely to take requests for new features. Remember - I made this ROM for me.
That being said, I'm happy to hear any feedback, answer questions, or look into bug reports (but please show a logcat or at least tell me how to reproduce it).
Can you make a version without gapps included as well?
also Source?
