[Q] Root

UPDATE/SOLVED: rooted by unlocking bootloader, flashing recovery via fastboot, installed supersu
I was wondering how to root the Alltel Moto X XT1050, I have successfully unlocked the bootloader. I was googling how to do it but things I've came across were that there were so many different versions of the Moto X.
Can anyone help??

[Q] Moto X4 Root failed

Friends,
I tried to do root in Moto X4, I followed XDA's own tutorials and I could not. I searched several links, some asking to download the modified boot.img, among others.
I unlocked the phone and now you have an unlock message. Can you get this message out?
Someone got root because I can not do it at all. I can root on other Motorola models, but this Moto X4 does not. Thank you for your help.

The title is misleading but can you help us help you? What model of the moto x4 do you own and what firmware are you on?

Sorry for the title, I'm new to the forum.
Moto X4 1900-6, I'm using the factory rom stock. However, yesterday I traded for US firmware, Android One, and got root success. After researching a lot, I found an article saying that it was easier to do root using the US firmware.

If you want to get rid of the unlocked bootloader text that appears during booting, you can just flash another boot logo

Restore E5 Cruise to factory stock guide

Second, I do see the guide where to restore the E5 Play to Factory State. However, I do not have the E5 Play. I have the Moto E5 Cruise and the service provider is Cricket Wireless. Are there any guides to restore the Moto E5 Cruise?

LPT:The cruise IS the Cricket version of the Play last i checked,so the same guides should apply

Root for the T-Mobile/MPCS E5 Plus?

Is root available for the E5 Plus sub-model for T-Mobile or MetroPCS? I believe it is XT1924-7 Hannah, but Motorola made like a dozen variants of this device and I can't find a clear answer. Many of the guides I found are for other sub-models, and I don't want to risk bricking the phone.
If there is a guide or method, can someone point me to it?

I would like to know the same as I just got the Metro variant.

unfortunately I don't think we'll be able to because I ran my metro variant on the bootloader website for Motorola and it tells me that my device is not eligible for unlock even though my option is checked to unlock

I got mine to work and unlocked the bootloader

How I rooted my MetroPCS Moto e5 plus
I followed the unlock bootloader thread, then used the instructions at forum thread named:
Recovery TWRP Root TWRP and Root for Moto E5 Play (James) by CodyF86
There is a plus version download there for fstab.ecom for decryption.
FYI: if phone boot says bad key, that means bootloader is unlocked. Once rooted mine says N/A
Haven't tested unlimited tethering yet.
Phone is ROOTED and DECRYPTED! Enjoy!

Just rerain it again on Moto unlock and it went through

Unbrick Hanna Motorola E5 plus please

I have a hanna device Moto E5 plus and the device is stuck in logo and does not continue loading. any ideas of how to solve this issue, I would really appreciate any help. The device has already been unlocked and I would like to install STOCK ROM.
