Hi. I'm needing the ROM of a Samsung S3 mini (I8190LUBAMB1), and that of a Moto e4 Plus XT1771 (nma26.42-28).
The firmware version I need is the one in parentheses.
I hope you can help me since I can not find the download link anywhere.
Hi there and welcome to XDA.
First rule of XDA (literally): use the search feature. If you do that you can find the forum sections dedicated to your devices and you'll likely find lots of resources to do what you want.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/search?query=S3 mini
https://forum.xda-developers.com/search?query=Moto e4 plus
Good luck! :good:

Hi. I already use the search function and I can not find the exact version of the firmwares that I need, in the search results I get different versions.

Thing is that you are in the completely wrong part of the XDA forums... If you click those search links I posted, you'll find the forums dedicated to your devices. If you are going to find any answers, it'll be there.

Hi there,
sorry if the question has been answered before. I searched for it but was not able to find it.
here is my question: is there an overview of all the firmwares of the galaxy s? Maybe in the wiki or in a thread?
I'm not so familiar with all those JPM, JM1 and JPA stuff and I don't know how to read a code like I9000XAJF3 and what's behind it.
would be helpful for me and great to have something like that.

memamu
The Best place to see most of the firmware information is samfirmware.com my
friend. If you look in the Firmware tab on their website it lists nearly all of the
multi-language roms in chronological order. And the flashing process you need to
use,etc.
If you had the New Froyo 2.2 I9000XXJPM
I9000 is obviously the Model
XX is the Region/Network Carrier
J = Year
PM = Version Number
Thanks allot...
that really helps to see some light in the forrest of firmware versions.
regards
memamu
Read the big FAQ, theres a section on rom dates/versions as I recall

Where can I find this big FAQ you mentioned?
It's a sticky on the General subforum.
Sent from my GT-I9000 using XDA App
My brother just got this phone so i am trying to show him how to flash roms on it. does ROM manager have support for this device. I know it goes by a few different names in different countries (Ascend x for Cincinnati Bell) but i can't determine if one of the devices on the list is compatable.
**EDIT**
Oops, it appears i posted in the wrong section, sorry about that...
If a mod of some sort would be so kind as to move this thread to the general section please.
**EDIT2**
really? out of the 22 people that have viewed this thread, no one can say yes or no to rom manager working on this device. cool...
please do a quick search, you will find some useful here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1288293
hello everyone, I have moto g 2014 XT1068, running on LP RR rom, and now I'm not willing to update it to M, but I wanna go back to stock rom, the official out of the box rom, how can I do that? is there any sort of a guide I can follow to help me to do so?

Please don't make separate threads for something you can find by just searching a bit on this forum.

Hello there guys.Feels nice to come back to XDA Developers again.I really need some help with my phone.
I want it to root it so i can delete all the stupid pre installed and non uninstallable apps samsung offers.
Apparently I have the model with the (F)N in the end,so I dont think the other methods would work in my case.
I have bricked an older device called Lenovo Vibe Z (K910) which had some factory problems and I tried to fix them,so I am a bit afraid of trying the methods given(Magisk,Xposed, etc)
What would you recommend?
Sorry for any misunderstanding, but I dont certainly know where I should have posted that thread.

I don't have this device but, your device information is a bit confusing...
The SM-J710FN was released in April of 2016 as outlined in the following link.
http://www.phonemore.com/samsung-galaxy-j7-2016-sm-j710fn/specs/2747
The 2017 Variant was the SM-J730 (Variants) with no "FN" indicator as outlined in the following link.
http://www.phonemore.com/samsung-galaxy-j7-2017-j7-pro/models/1658
With that stated...
The following area of the forum is specific to the J710 Variants.

This could be contributing to your inability to locate information on your specific device.
This is an innocent mistake that isn't a big deal...
Good Luck!

Hello XDA forum. My name is Chris. Not new to smartphone scene, but farely new to rooting. I have an Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 which l want to revive to use as a second screen and lm more into foldable phones. I dont like notches or holes on the screen, so l wud like that everyone wud do the phones that ZTE does. But hey.. Kapitalizm.
Im gratefull to have this access to many of the expert developers on the web.
I have been having problem with flashing Oreo build onto Tab 2 10.1 3G (Europe unlocked). Can I ask questions directly into post ( https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/rom-aosp-8-1-oreo-unlegacy-android-unofficial.4323203/ ) or I have to make a separate question in ( https://forum.xda-developers.com/f/general-questions-and-answers.456/ ). I did follow ALL instuctions, searched the forum for specific problem, searched and watched youtube videos, but didnt find any solution. Pictures attached

Yes, l fixed the issue. The TWRP was too old. Flashed the newer one and it worked. l continued in the related post to the subject.
