About Project:
Citrus-CAF, unlike the name suggests, was initially based off CyanogenMod, in the early days of Marshmallow, we even had another name at that point. Later, taking into consideration feedbacks of the very first slew of testers and carefully studying the needs and demands of our users, we rebased the project to Code Aurora Sources, more commonly known as CAF. Time went by and Nougat released, and we decided that it was time, Citrus-CAF had to see the daylight. We rebased everything to the brank spanking Nougat released. Later we realized the true potential of CAF tags, how each of them altered the device performance on different SOCs. After a lot of thinking, we decided to keep different sources for difference SOCs in our git and hours of debugging later, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 was the first device to get a taste of our Tangy Nougat. In the beginning, it was just two people behind, but in time, a lot of people joined us, as each giving their own contributions.
Citrus-CAF was built to create an amazing combination of customization, performance and most of the demanded features by our users, whereas we've Cardinal, to deliver minimal customizations, but the greatest stability!
Meanwhile, all of our Tangy sources are publicly available on our Github. We also do own a Google+ Community, where you can.... uhm... you know, do what all others do at forums and communities! (Just kidding, we got builds over there and a feature-wish bucket too ) Hope you enjoy your stay and taste the Tanginess of our work!

I did what you said , but the echo issue still there
I think it's related to the mic driver of the rom or maybe the noise cancellation mic not working.
BTW , i faced this issue on most of the nougat roms.

try to flash stock ROM ZUI(min 2.3.045) using QFIL tool then flash again any nougat ROM then check

Whenever I try to apply citrus-caf wallpapers, message saying "omni style has stopped" appears.
Any fix?
Also double tap to wake up doesn't seem to work..

It seems that double tap to wake doesn't work.
Also only one carrier label is shown on the lock screen.

Double tap to wake doesn't work !

The WiFi doesn't work properly, it randomly starts using the cellular data instead. The WiFi connection's okay but it displayes the WiFi icon with an X on the statusbar and the "Connected, no Internet" message under its options. I have to turn it off and on again but it remains okay only for maybe an hour.
I also experience random reboots.

It's source issue, affects devices having less ram
Will get fixed soon.

@tech mashido, hey buddy, the WiFi problem of having shown a signal with a cross and restarting it makes wifi back working, Is this being looked after, it's there in all Android N ROMs i tried.

Nice rom..no bugs so far...gcam is included..dev the background of toast messages is white also the font which makes it hard to read the Text...and to Dolby atmos fans? it gives bootloop..gonna use this as daily driver as I've not faced any bugs

I had compiled this rom for myself but really liked the tons of feature this rom has , so shared here with everyone so that this rom doesnt get missed.
As of now i have no plans of maintaining this rom, in this rom all features work - wifi, bluetooth, data, etc.

Clean flash recommend as many changes have been done
This was the last build from myside with Selinux enforcing, as you can see another dev is also working on same ROM, so that thread will be continued and this built will be last one from myside.

The rom ui is nice also I found one bug we cannot open display settings in settings and thanks for such a good looking rom .

Anybody tested this rom? Can anyone comment on battery life, sot and bugs?

Clean flash and check this because there is no such issue at my end, display settings open properly, you can check this by clean flashing rom only without any gapps

Cannot comment on the battery backup right now, need to use it for few days to know..the reason for sharing this ROM was for its tons of customization which are the USP of this ROM.

I have flashed this ROM by this morning, since then I started loving it.. it has tons and tons of customization.... many are not present in other custom ROMS..
My Quick Observations so far are
* Buttery smooth ROM
* Tons of customization
* No heating issue.. even with heavy usage..
I will comment the battery backup after using it for few days.
A must try ROM I would say!! Thanks a lot to the dev team !!

Bugs
Overall the ROM is good and there are tons of customisation.... Battery backup is good but it is a little less than AOSP Ex... Smooth performance..
Bugs-
1. The lock-screen goes blank for 3-4 sec after every customisation. But it becomes normal after some times. I think its a bug in Ambient display.
2. There's a little error in Slow Motion camera and High speed frames...
But overall, good work devs..

Hi, Can u give steps to reproduce this, which scanner didn't work ..

The rom is beautiful and did not notice any major bugs yet. But slight a small bug i "heard" while earphones plugged in and music is on sometimes when the next song is played after one the music gets a little distorted or something like that then i have to pause the music and play again then it clears properly. Overall good rom and loved it many customisation battery is also decent as oreo. And just wanted to know will this continue to get updates ?

it's for an App in Belgium for scanning lottery tickets to get notifyed when you win. It use camera for scanning ticket numbers

Ok, I try to flash with TWRP like other rom but I had error 7, so no system, no problem I restore my backup but after 15 % error 255, can't mount /system, start to panic finally redelete everything and flash my old RR 7.1.2 zip and seems to reworks so I'm searching to resolve error 7 but I'm warning you it actually doesn't work for me. I'm going to retry after a reboot (it's actually booting).

Ok I delete some lines before mount in Havoc-OS-20180703-ham-Unofficial-101\META-INF\com\google\android\updater-script. Flash works great and it's actually booting, I tell you if I have some troubles.

Finally works like a charm, I'm restoring all my apps with titanium, ui is very smooth and clean and round, I test the rom during some days, I tell you if I found some bugs.

That's a pity, your builds work better.
Anyway, thanks for your work and for bringing Havoc for our device (I really love this ROM!).

After one week usage of this room I don't found any bug. Just one thing when the weather was above 35°C inside my house, when I was doing Google image search the device was really really hot, I couldn't handle the phone for the first time so I stopped using it and turned off, it still working Battery is correct without battery saving for a 3yo phone, 10am to 17pm with YouTube, Spotify, chrome and CarXdrifting. Probably the best Oreo rom for our device thank you very much for keeping this device updated.

Idk Its just me or what, but it Took a hell lot of time Charging (went from 25% to 75% only in 2hrs) and Also battery keeps draining very fast.
Also Felt a little laggy while using device such as listening songs, Opening any apps or settings,etc.
Edit : and also one more thing, Netlfix doesn't seems to work(shows incompatible while installing or after opening)

Heats up a lot while playing pubg and also while charging. Any tweaks to overcome these?

No tweaks for these two things pubg will make your phone heat my OnePlus 3t also heats.
While charging just leave your phone alone it'll heat but not much.

Rom is great, charges a lot quicker than expected, that's really great, battery backup is also good.. ??
Charging is super quick ?
But there are some issues you cant customize hardware keys, the gestures always turns on when you use hardware keys,
When you use on screen navigation keys, hardware keys are on..
Loses internet connection..
Notifications delay present too..
Please fix these issues...

yes qc works if you just charge phone with screen off/ phone in idle.

For QC just plug your phone and restart your phone. Then don't touch your phone. QC will work.

Currently official TWRP 3.2.2.0 is installed on there.
