I unlocked the bootloader on my phone using ADB and my phone worked fine, my phone reset, removing all Google apps, so I had to sideload the Play store and Google Play services. I noticed Snapchat didn't work, so I relocked my phone's bootloader.
The bootloader menu says that the bootloader and FRP are both locked, however, the safetynet test app on my phone still says that my phone has failed the test, and Snapchat's login still doesn't work.
I have tried to factory reset the phone from settings, but it fails (see pictures attached).
So what I'm asking is how to I get my phone back to the way is was before? I don't want to root it because I never rooted it in the first place or flashed a custom ROM.

When i relock my bootloader my warranty no longer shows and camera does not work. Any fix? When I unlock it again the warranty shows and camera works. It also ask for Android password when I relock and I have tried every possible password and it won't work so I'm forced to wipe user data to get in the device after relocks.
If I can't relock my bootloader is there a way to get rid of that message "your device has been unlocked, and can't be trusted" during boot up! I've seen someone else on a LG g4 flash the img and it removed it but I can't find the Sony splash screen img file with root access.
When I relocked my bootloader I got an update for June security patch. Updated and unlocked bootloader again. Is there a way to get updates without relocking the bootloader?
Last question. Does anyone else notice the rear camera no longer takes good low light photos but the front does?
Wait, youre on Rogers and rooted?! How? Mine always says boot loader unlock allowed no

You have lost your drm keys.. No turning back, this was also mentioned in the unlock guide / proces.
As there is no way of making backup of the drm keys atm, you should have not unlocked or waited.
Better stick with the unlocked bl.

Hello,
i just tried to enable OTG on my Honor 5c.
I unlocked bootloader and flashed TWRP. etc.
Now i reset my phone and relocked my booloader. i see every boot a warning, and i can't use my online banking TAN because my phone is apparently rooted.
i just want to do a hard reset. But how? I can't install the b102 firmware from modaco. i get an error every time. what can i do?
please help me
What firmware number you have?
my bank just warns about being rooted but doesnt prevent using app i think you can hide root from apps... try searching root hiding from apps!
I was trying to rebrand and convert my phone to dual sim, only this can't be done on Pie and FunkyHuawei didn't make this known. And since I hit this issue out they are not responding to my emails anymore. Which sounds par for course with them from what others are saying. Anyway, I needed to downgrade to oreo to continue with the rebrand but oem unlock feature in developer mode was greyed out. So I did a factory reset but the oem unlock was still greyed out afterwards. And now when I go into fastboot, it is showing the phone as unlocked but FRP as locked. And I can't do anything in fastboot now as a result. Is there any way to unlock FRP again?

Well it seems firmware finder was my friend on this occasion. I found a load of folders and files with weird names on the internal storage and removed them. It seems these were were placed there by Funky as erecovery started working again, instead of twrp. And I wasn't getting the message to continue rebranding either. The internal storage was still read only, so I had a look at FF as a last resort. It recommended a higher version of the original so I went with that. It took around 3 hours for it to download and install but everything was back to normal afterwards. Including frp and oem unlock.
As for rebranding, well I'm no further on but I shant be trying it again until I can downgrade to oreo. If I could only figure out how to do that.

Honestly unless you really really need it. I wouldn't bother mate. Massive ballache
This is such a lame phone, can't wait to be rid of it.
Downgrading should be achievable by either hisuite or by a flash script. Literally just like installing a new os. I used the latter as hisuite bugged out after fiddling with host files thanks to fh. Search this forum for pats with the word numpty in title. I wrote an exact step by step on the process I followed
When you do the rebrand if you don't need dual sim, just use the standard debrand P20 tool and key the model and regions manually to ensure no **** ups.

If there's any dload firmware available for your device (search on androidhost.ru for your exact model and region), then you might have a chance to fix this issue, by downgrading/updating with the dload method.
Hi everyone
I have a Xperia 10, i1331 version. It has the bootloader unlocked and was rooted successfully (many thanks for the info in this forum)
Then, I gave root permissions to some apps, aa mirror and carstream for android auto, for instance, they work perfectly. But Google Pay does not work, even hiding root...., Because the Bootloader is unlocked, so I need to lock it again.
But I need to find a way to lock the bootloader again without reseting the Xperia 10... and keeping my Root permissions I did., Does it exist any option to do this????
As you know, with some Rooted devices, if you lock the bootloader again they do not loose the root permissions you gave to some apps, Don't you?? but with XPERIA phones (bq and xiaomi seem to be the same) once you lock the phone they automatically reset everything and erase all Root..... , a disaster.
PLEASE, do you know any possible solution???? Thousand of thanks.
Sadly, it's not possible to lock or unlock the bootloader without a factory reset.
No solution unfortunately
I'm trying to find a way to lock the bootloader, regardless of the condition of root, but unable to do so. Have been trying for hours.
You can't!!
I have already unlocked the bootloader. Installed official TWRP then format Data. Installed Magisk after that. Then rebooted and setup device with Google and Mi Account properly. Root is working fine. But when i go to developer settings, it says that the bootloader is locked phone is secure. Even the Find My Device of Mi account works properly. Play Store showing Device As Certified.
But during reboot, bootloader status shows as unlocked. And root also working.
What happened to my device?? The device is working as if I haven't modified anything!!
