Moto G 2014 can't boot into Android

Dear people of XDA Developers,
After installing some different ROMs and rooting my XT1068 Moto G 2014 it crashed. I can no longer use Android because somehow my Android is corrupt. I have been trying to fix this problem for a couple of weeks but after tons and tons of forum threads that didn’t quite match my problem I’m here explaining my problem. (btw my bootloader is still unlocked)
First of all, when I do a normal bootup on my Moto G, most of the times it will show the Motorola loading animation but when the animation would go away and show my lockscreen, it shows a black screen. In some rare cases it shows the animation, it says “preparing Android” and my Android would boot up but after a few seconds everything starts crashing and it gives messages like:
Unfortunately, process.android.acore has stopped.
Unfortunately, Google Play Services has stopped.
If I close these messages, they will all reappear.
My phone is able to boot into TWRP Custom Recovery from fastboot. I am running TWRP version v2.8.6 and I also have MultiROM v32 with trampoline v23, although I only have 1 ROM currently installed.
I have downloaded this Easy installer from the XDA Developers Forum:
(5.0.2 XT1068 Retaildsdsall Feb 25th LXB22.99-16 version 22.41.16)
I have put my phone into fastboot, I have put all the downloaded files into a folder on my Desktop and I have opened the Auto Restore Script.bat file. (see pictures 1 to 5)
After the process, the exact same things happen as I described earlier when booting up Android.
So then I downloaded a stock Lollipop 5.0.2 ROM from this forum thread:
(I downloaded the Pure Edition which was called “Stock_XT1068_22.21.28-ROM_PURE-EDITION.zip”
I downloaded the zip onto my microSD card which I then put into my phone. I booted up into fastboot and opened my recovery. For some reason it already said “E: Unable to open ‘/cache/recovery/.version’.”
Then I tapped on “wipe”, then “advanced wipe” and I selected everything except for MicroSD. It was done in about 1 second and it said “Wipe Complete” but “Failed” in red letters was written under it.
I still tried to continue, so then I went back and tapped on install. I navigated to the folder which the zip was located in, selected the zip and installed it. At the end it gave me the error: “E:Error executing updater binary in zip ‘/sdcard1/Stock_XT1068_22.21.28-ROM_PURE-EDITION.zip’”.
I really don’t know what to do from now on, so I would really appreciate your help!
Also, I put the file log (recovery.log) from trying to install the zip as an attachment on this post, and picture 6 is the response I get from typing “fastboot getvar all” in cmd.
Greetings,
Thomas

I did, i tried several ROMs but all of them give the same error which is:
E:Error executing binary in zip "sdcard1/NameOfROMRightHere.zip"
I googled this error but all i found was for CyanogenMod which i haven't got installed on my device and is not the ROM i want to get on it.
I have also tried some Android 4.4 ROMs but no luck with those either.

Try using Philz recovery: http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g-2014/orig-development/recovery-philz-touch-recovery-t3006838
Sounds like your eMMC is bad.
If that is the case, it's non- recoverable and you'll need to get a new device.

I simply cannot flash recovery

I nearly bricked my Razr i XT when downgrading from a Kitkat update to JB 4.1.2 but thanks to the great work here I am making some progress but cannot get Recovery or Root. the unlocking of bootloader via the Motorola website went fine and thanks to this post
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2239706 I got the rom I wanted, and it's fine.
I have read many other tutorials on installing a recovery and have downloaded and tried 6 or 7 CWM and TWRP images
but it never completes - fastboot says it has, but the phone stubbornly hangs at the flashing.
I have no problems getting into fastboot, but failed many times, and in desperation have tried with USB debugging on and off
and with and without sim and sdcard inserted.
attached are some photos to show where I am stuck at, and I would greatly appreciate some help

U said fastboot hangs at flashing the recovery, but on the command lines on your PC it says finished. Have u tried booting into recovery?
What recovery did u use and where did u get it?
USB debugging, simcard and sdcard don't have anything to do with fastboot. But it is likely that u didn't know that
thanks for looking at this.
I did try booting into recovery from my PC by after rebooting it and then taking the recovery option, but the phone hung at the Motorola bootloader unlocked warning screen.
this link was typical of the various tutorials I used: http://androidteen.com/motorola-razr-i-how-to-root-and-install-clockworkmod-cwm-recovery-on-android-4-1-2-jelly-bean-firmware/
to be fair I cannot recall where I got all the recovery images from - I have that many, and had to rename them recovery.img, so cannot remember the original download names
update:
I have just tried an app from the google play named Root Android, which advised trying other apps - Kingroot, Framaroot & Towelroot,
but they all failed .
what did catch my eye yesterday was the yellow text when in fastboot that says 'dismatched partition entry'
I ignored it as the img files I was trying to flash are all much smaller than the 100mb stated,
but today I am beginning to think that perhaps my recovery partition is corrupt and look for ways to repair it.
does that make any sense?

I have solved my problem with CWM:victory:
whilst I am not 100% certain I am pretty much sure it was a driver problem - for those who this may benefit, here is what I did.
1. I did not reflash my phone, but stayed with the one in my original post.
2. remember that the main problem was that Fastboot said I had succeeded in flashing a Recovery image, but that the phone 'hung'
at flash as in my photo. and then from my phone I could not get to recovery from the fastboot menu .
3. I stumbled across a posting (on XDA, but I cannot remember where) that said the Motorola drivers were not as good as they should be and that the Motohelper one's would be fine - so I downloaded them, and have attached the zip below.
4. I then decided to tidy up my PC and uninstalled all mobile phone drivers, plus any redundant USB Device drivers
5 for the USB tidying up I tend to use USBdview, which is superb and can be found here
6 when all this was done I simply tried the reflash of CWM - and got the same situation I had been having all along
but amazingly, when I selected 'recovery' it went in CWM - I nearly fainted with surprise!
from all this I can only assume it was a driver problem as I had changed nothing else.
perhaps it was Motohelper drivers- perhaps it was USBdview that did it for me - I will never really know, nor care!
I now have CWM v6.0.1.9 - it is touchscreen and permanent, plus I use the cute Reboot by app by Petrus to control my phone.
happy days!

If you can still get into recovery, download the latest OTA zip from Google's developer page, copy it to your internal storage, and flash it using the recovery. It will wipe your device storage, but at least your device will function again.

Bootloop to recovery [solved]

Hello everyone, I have the problem, that my 3T boots to recovery every time I boot. The system is no more booting. What I did was, "updating" in the CM about/update menu (from unofficial cm14.1 13.12. to 14.12. ).
So maybe an open recovery script was created and booted to bootloader. Update failed but I did it manually.
From now on the phone does just only boot twrp recovery (or is it a boot loop ?). I tried to restore a backup and install the oxygen os via zip and wiped all partitions (except internal storage) but nothing helps. Does anyone know this and can give me advice ? Thank a lot in advance.
Edit:
For the OnePlus One if found an error report which look a little bit my error:
The problem is suspected to stem from the "persist" partition getting corrupted during the reboot, even though CyanogenMod doesn't use this particular location. The damaged area doesn't get fixed like other partitions because a filesystem integrity check isn't ran. It's left corrupted, and even though the area isn't needed for the OS to run, the OnePlus One boot loops anyway.

But the partition layout on the 3T seems to be different, I can see only partitions like sda etc ...

I follow your recommendation thanks for your assistance I fixed my OP3T,
What a mess ... after all this I wanted to install my CM backups again, but TWRP refused to boot. I had only a black screen with a white LED when going to recovery. But now after some hours I have a solution to this. You need to update Oxygen OS before going on !!
Make a full system update or flash this update via TWRP: http://downloads.oneplus.net/oneplus-3t/oneplus_3t_oxygenos_3.5.3/
After this TWRP is booting as expected.
Now I'll enjoy a beer or two or ....
Good luck to all others. If anybody needs assistance ... contact me.
never had a issue
Please help!!!! I tried flashing the update for the latest OTA, I had the full zip. I have unlocked bootloader, twrp, phh supersu, magisk and xposed. I did a nandroid backup and then clicked Wipe- Dalvik and Cache. I then flashed the zip. For 20 mins the boot logo was spinning around, so I rebooted into twrp to see what was going on. Now I can't reboot and it shows no data, it says my device is encrypted and I can't see any files. What can I do??
Was your internal storage encrypted before ?
TWRP doesn't show your internal storage and didn't ask for a password ?

Endless bootloop (Redmi 9 lancelot)

I tried installing crDroid (unlock bootloader, uploaded FW, recovery SHRP, then install ROM) and after reboot the phone would go back to recovery.
By mistake I "installed" SHRP from ZIP package (I thought I need to install latest recovery file to install ROM with android 12) and phone went into reboot loop, I can't do anything, any key combination doesn't help - I can't even turn it off.
help!
I opened the phone, disconnected the battery, but nothing happened - still bootloop
I'm planning to use SP Flash Tool
Immediately after connecting USB C, the phone boots into bootlop (after disconnecting and reconnecting the battery)
What happens when you flash the custom ROM?
Try to flash the stock firmware and miui
again. Download the latest miui recovery ROM for Lancelot and copy it to the sd card. If you can still boot into recovery you can connect the phone with a PC.
You can also try to reboot into bootloader if the reboot options work from sharp, if not connect the phone to a PC with adb and fastboot installed on it and type:
Code:
adb reboot bootloader
And now if you are in fastboot you can do anything, you can try to reflash the firmware, recovery etc.
I personally don't use SHRP, it was really buggy and not great. I use the twrp from this link: https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/recovery-twrp-unofficial-twrp-recovery-3-6-1_11-0.4421301/.

That's what I'll do first, then move on to the solution below.
I opened the phone and disconnected the battery, but plugging in the USB cable immediately turns the phone on and bootloops again.
I'm using Linux and Windows, and one user hinted at hacking the USB driver so I believe it won't boot the phone, only then will I have communication? Other than that I don't know how to do it anyway.
For now, after the phone's battery runs out, I'll try with this solution

The battery trick does'nt work for me. I can't remember exact version, sorry - but my way was going BACK with SP Flash tool version (from newest to working with file). When I found right version the rest was only going with procedure.
I did it twice: first time I was scared, second - with finding right version of SPFT, every time - like walk in the park. Looong walk all procedure was like 2-3 hours.
Second one try was after trying to load Andorid 13 (2x). Don't do it kids!
After all, my Revolut app stop working lately on my phone and Redmi is retired for now... (and also becoming unusable because slowing dramatically)
Thanks for your answer. it has worked with battery empty (though that might not have benn necessary); not on 1st atttempt v5.2020 but it did with version 5v.2216 in case it might help someone...it didnt flash miui fastboot rom 12.5 but it did flash engineering rom. and from there i will twrp and miui.
Thanks for your suggestion of trying different spflash versions.
