Works with Cricket Wireless which uses AT&T's network. I have full LTE service in Texas.

I have straight talk using att towers as well. No issue here

tmo gt7 and pay to use

Verizon is killing me on my D2 so I was wondering if I flash my tmo gt7 with Hermes and purchased a tmo pay to use sim, would I be able to make calls and data from my tab?
Thanks
You cant use your Verizon on Tmo, ypu can however tether from the other device to your galaxy tab.

The pay as you go is for broadband (data) only. So with that sim card, 3g but no voice.

No I want to get away from Verizon, Just wondered if a tmo pay to go voice/sim and a flash of my tmo gt7 would make the tablet useful for both voice/data?
Thanks
Yes, you can do that. The voice pay as you go isn't too pricey, but the data part is really bad (expensive).
I tried SimpleMobile, and I was satisfied with the coverage. The unlimited voice and data was $70 pay as you go, and works everywhere t-mobile works.
You will have to do an extra step, installing the Rotohammer modem switch to have voice and data on a US t-mobile tab.
Sounds like what I am looking for. Will the SimplyMobile SIM roam like T-mobile does? We actually live in a " dead " T-mobile area. T-mobile has an agreement with the local GSM provider but not for Data on tablets. However, T-mobile voice/data phones works fine.
Thanks
SimpleMobile uses/rents t-mobile's bands/towers. So, same coverage area.
Thanks, I'll give it a shot.

[Q] using an AT&T One on Tmobile?

Hey everyone. A friend of mine is giving me his One (he switched to iphone). He's on AT&T and I'm on T-Mobile. Could I get it to work with my service? Would I be able to get hspa+ or LTE service?
Thanks.

the phone will work but the data speed will depend on your area. in some cases you will be stuck with Edge (slow) Data speeds. You can switch to a straight talk plan that works fine on AT&T Devices

This question has probably been answered 1,345,321 times, but I'll answer it anyways. Yes, it will work, but the experience may be subpar because the phone lacks / has disabled the AWS H+ band.

[Q] Which Carrier Are You Going To Use?

As the title says ; ) Right now I'm on on a&t with a note 4 and plan on getting the N6 via play store then getting verzion for it, then I would eventually sell my note 4 but should I stick with AT&T for the N6 or go verzion. Had no problems with service but I think I can do better

AT&T. I'll never go to a CDMA carrier mainly because I change phones daily and it doesn't get any easier than swapping sim cards. I also absolutely LOVE their Next plan. Been with them for about 3 years now and have never had any coverage issues and I usually get about 30Mbps on LTE which is just wonderful.
AT&T.
Verizon since every other carrier is pretty much garbage where I'm at

Is it the same exact service as T-mobile prepaid?
Also does it support T-mobile's wifi calling?

Cricket (att mvno). I'll try tmobile again if the 700mhz comes here some day. I issued tmobile for years, but just sucks out of town or in buildings.
Verizon. Unlimited data!
Verizon....company pays for it...can't beat that...
Uscellular. Only carrier that gets decent reception where I live. Pretty excited they are finally getting some good phones.
T-Mobile.
Cheapest and best customer service.
Sprint. No problems with service around my area. Full bar LTE w/unlimited data.
Though I may switch to T-Mobile once they get better coverage.

Am I missing something? Ever since Verizon got 4G with a Sim card, I am able to just switch phones by switching out sim cards.... or so I thought

At&t note 3 on sprint service??

I'm trying to use my rooted note 3 (with dynamic kat xtreme rom) on the sprint network. I have tried different combinations of apn settings and still can't get it to work. Anyone have any idea if it's even possible?
Sprint uses CDMA which the att note 3 doesn't support.
Apn settings are for data and MMS only rather than voice.

So I wouldn't be able to use it for voice either?
Voice won't work either because the phone has no ESN which is needed to register the phone on a CDMA network.

Thanks for the replies. You know if it's possible to use an at&t s7 edge with sprint? Or is it the same thing as the note 3?
AT&T and T-mobile phones will not work on CDMA carriers.

So I'm stuck with my sprint carrier phone (iphone). So I'd have to use a sprint phone? What if I buy an unlocked phone from Amazon?
Sprint and Verizon need a phone that supports CDMA as neither carrier has a GSM network.
Some Sprint and Verizon iPhones supports GSM which means they can be used with any North American carrier for voice, data, and text.
Buying an unlocked phone will not help unless it comes from Sprint.

Thanks for the quick replies. I was given the impression after calling and asking sprint that I could use the s7....... well it's ok either way. Thanks again
Where did the s7 come from?

Use on Verizon?

I have wanted to get the ROG since the 2 came out. I'm on Verizon and don't plan on changing anytime soon.
Can the 3 work on the Verizon network? If it does, will it be limited in any way (service area, speed, bands, and so forth)? What has to be done to make it work?
Thank You for your help!

according to this:
https://www.kimovil.com/en/where-to-buy-asus-rog-phone-3-16gb-512gb-am
it should work only on 4G network only on Verizon network, no 5G or 3G which might be an issue for you .

Data only on 4g.
Has anyone been able to to try it?
I was hoping someone could say there experience with using it on Verizon's network?
It seems this reviewer tried it on Verizon: pcmag com /product-guides/137219/asus-rog-phone-3
We asked in the comments and I emailed him personally but he did not respond.
I think it working on 4g is a good bet. You would just have to root to be able to enable VoLTE and Wifi calling. Like they did for the ROG phone 2.

So, just to be sure that I understand you correctly. You are saying it will ONLY do data? No calls?
Could you also please give your reason, knowledge, or sources for the statement? Thank you in advance.
