Factory Reset kept my files! Yay! - OnePlus 3T Questions & Answers

So...
I did a factory reset and just found all my photos e.t.c. Intact.
I'm astonished.
I think if that's something that OnePlus had manged it's really good!

Not really that important since it's togglable in the Restore Menu. All it does is wipe /system and /data, while toggling the setting on wipes /sdcard too.

Can only speak for the devices I've owned, but it seems that this (option to keep your internal storage when factory reset) has been common on a number of different brand Android devices, for some years now.

My cellphone also got Wiped / Factory Reset and Wipe Cache Partitions most of the time, because my phone has been Security Locked a lot of times. Before this happened, my power button doesn't work that's why I reset it alot of times, but one time it just suddenly hanged and just showed this.
Sorry for my Bad English! I tried my best.

Suddenly today my BT won't connect to anything except my watch. I turned BT on and off, restarted, cleared cache in settings, cleared dalvik cache - nothing seems to work.
I'm running AOKP N with the AKLU kernel, tried to reflash the kernel but kept getting error [[].
Any ideas as to what I can do to fix this without doing a full wipe and flash?
Thanks for any suggestions and comments!

Theres a way to fix it or should i reset my phone?
Try wiping the Cache Partition in Recovery Mode first. If that doesn't work then backup your device and perform a hard factory reset.

Question How to erase Systemdata. No root

hello, after the update to MIUI 14 I noticed how much storage space is actually occupied for the other system data. 54GB with the system together over 65GB. I want to delete them but haven't found a way yet.

Looks like something did go completely wrong, hu? Backup made + deep format already done, and flashed clean over? Thats imo. the only way w/o open bootloader.
