Hey guys. I accidentally deleted the Stock ROM when installing an custom rom, and the install was unsuccesful. And now, I can't install an rom. In TWRP, it just says ERROR 7 when I try to install the stock rom, and I tried installing other roms, but no effect. Dload method does not work with no OS, so I'm completely stuck. NEM-L21C432B351. Please help. I have access to TWRP, and bootloader.

I´ve been trying to install a custom rom but it doesn´t work, I have tried with about 15 different roms but any of them works.
The bootloader is unlocked, rooted, TWRP recovery installed and android 5.1.1

Hello, is it possible to install twrp permanently via flashtool?
I flashed twrp img with flashtool (select kernel to flash) but then my phone wasnt able to boot up, so I installed lineage os rom.
After that, I booted up to system without any problem. I restarted my phone to check the twrp recovery but I noticed that It reverted into the stock one.
I tried to install twrp via the twrp app, the app says it flashed successfully but when I boot up into recovery, my phone shows the stock one. Please help me someone.

My mi5 shipped with miui 8 global stable. I then unlocked the boot loader, rooted it and installed twrp.
Now that miui 9 is out I would like to try it. The updater notified me of the new versione and I can download it but I don't know how to install it considering that I do not have the original recovery.
It is not a problem for me to lose twrp if at least I can update and keep root access and my data. Is it possible? How to do it?

but anyway there's a risk of boot error so backup important data.
Your best shot is probably ZCX recovery. But you'll probably end up with bootloop. Also you can try flashing stock recovery if you have it.
I'm struggling with my Xiaomi MI A2 to have a simple root.
I already got this with Magisk, but the problem is that when I try to install XPOSED, it goes into bootloop.
Many post say I have to have TWRP installed to achieve this.
But now I can not get both together: TWRP and custom ROM.
If I install TWRP, it erases the ROM; if I install the ROM, it erases the TWRP.
What should I do?
