Can some one compile drivers for chinese gamepads for LeEco Le 2 Oreo 8.1?
I have a cheap chinese gamepad
It identifies as
Dragonrising
Vendor id : 0079
Product id : 0006
in Windows (the device has a logo and brand name of Quantum - a common cheap device vendor in India)
These gamepads are very common and affordable
I found a thread with drivers for ICS (for the Asus Transformer)
Had no luck getting them to work wit my LeEco Le 2 AEX (Oreo 8.1)Rom
Can some one compile a driver for our device or add the support to their kernel?
Or help out in getting this to work on our device.
I think many users like me would appreciate it if generic usb game controllers start working on their device.
Here's to hope that someone finds a solution.:fingers-crossed:

The second link you provided has driver for kernel 3.18.66. Most Oreo Roms has this kernel and this zip is working fine on my z2 plus. But my phone doesn't provides enough power to run this gamepad so haven't tested properly. You should try it too. I will try again with a usb extender and report later.

Hello!
How about this program?
We haven't got a Cm Rom yet.
Stock Rom is too boring.
This one makes no sense anymore we have a working T110 port
[OTH] OTG support will be available ?
Waiting your return. I need a custom kernel in my tab. Thanks

You could include OTG support?
If you could include whether the driver of the usb modem zte whether type of orange?
Would be great if possible as we could have in our tablet 3g usb modem connecting an application using pppwiget

Root your tab and install the trickster Mode.app. With this app you can change the Governore to conservative and Scheduler to cfg or noop.

sooo much repo'ing to get AOSP before the compiling even begins. There's gotta be a better way for them to maintain the repository. :/
Edit:
After downloading around 40 gigs of files from AOSP, won't compile on our phones. Looks like build tools are only 64-bit and the Debian Jessie chroot I'm using on the phone isn't allowing the 64-bit tools to execute. Our kernel reports that it IS in fact x86_64, but I can't seem to find the phone's /lib64 directory to map to the chroot. So, something that could be fun is now a huge headache -- may need to put together a pc just to build this kernel & hope I still have enough bandwidth from my ISP to repo another 40 gigs.

It's already several years ago Android build tools migrated to x64-only. So, you cannot build Android (even 32bit version) on x32 machine.
Zenfone 2 kernel is 64bit. But Android itself is 32bit. You still can start 64bit binaries if you want. I'm using 64bit busybox and some other utilities I've made.
I didn't try to compile Zf2 kernel yet because there is no unlocked bootloader exist, so you simply can't boot your own kernel.
I was able to apt-get lib64 on debian jessie ( was called libc6-amd64 ) & that moved things along until the assembler refused to load libz.so. No amount of looking around helped figure that one out since libz.so did exist.
This is just something fun to do while waiting for the unlocked bootloader. Wouldn't it be nice to be able to just compile your own kernel on your phone?
Compilation requires a lot of typing in command line. I cannot imagine doing this on phone. It's simply crazy. I'm not even talking about time needed for compilation.
I'm using PC (with linux VM) to compile everything.

Yes, i've compiled many binaries already.
Of course it's possible to develop for ZF2. There is ASUS Nexsus Player (fugu) device in CM12 repository which is basically very close to ZE550/ZE551. So, there is already a lot of code in Cyanogenmod. But, i prefer stock ROM anyway.

Hi there People, I have a Huawei P9 L-09C432B378 (Nougat) and i would like to know a way to see our GPU version (Model I know that it is Mali-T880) but what I want to know it's the driver that this sofrware (B378) is using.
If someone could help me I would aprecciate a lot.
Thanks
Phones doesnt work exactly like PC, so there is no "driver" that you can update/check separately and there is no separate settings file that you can modify to mess with it a bit.
In terms of spec, P9 have mail t880 in Midgard architecture
its version MP4 that contain 4 cores clocked at 900Mhz in boost mode and it use simplified driver interface AMBA4 Ace-Lite, so it provide power depending on task with less data pushing though memory.
It also support almost all modern APIs:
OpenGL® ES 1.1, 1.2, 2.0, 3.0, 3.1, 3.2
Vulkan 1.0*
OpenCL™ 1.1, 1.2
DirectX® 11 FL11_2
RenderScript™

Basically there is no specific version number of drivers used in P9, its all in system it self, that is provided by huawei with android ROM.
You can mess with few settings for MSAA, video quality, but beside that nothing. Its GPU on SoC that is maxed out from the box, and only way to sped it up is upgrading chip it self to version MP8 or MP16, and of course its not possible :]
My question was all about this:
http://vulkan.gpuinfo.org/displayreport.php?id=1046 (this is a driver for 7.0 (Nougat) with a driver version 465.204.476)
http://vulkan.gpuinfo.org/displayreport.php?id=920 (This one it's another driver ALSO for 7.0 (Nougat), but with a diferente version number (511.1023.4095))
Which one of those it's the one in ou P9 L-09C432B378????
And there is another that came out today:
http://vulkan.gpuinfo.org/displayreport.php?id=1132 (this one it another one BUT it's for 7.1.1. (Nougat) with the same driver version number as the second one (511.1023.4095))
My question it's if is it possible to know which driver version number do we have on our P9 and if it's possible to install the latest driver version as a zip file just like the guy as the (P.S.)
http://vulkan.gpuinfo.org/displayreport.php?id=1132
P.S. My question was all because of this threat:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/crossdevice-dev/sony/mod-adreno-vulkan-drivers-snapdragon-t3555141
This guy made na flashable zip for their Sony Devices with Adreno 430 and 530 so they could install them and appreciate all the good things that vulkan can offer to them.
I think that this is a good subject for some question and an AWESOME answers.
ok.... so i just downloaded Hardware CapsViewer for Vulkan (apk) and It says that driver version it's the 465.204.476 so it's the first link that I shared.
So now I was wondering what device as the other one that as the other driver version, the 511.1023.4095 one? Cause for what i undestood, the 511.1023.4095 one it's allready autorized for 7.1.1 Nougat
There are march drivers, but you have to selfcompile it.
Hello dear community,
I have a 9th generation Fire 7 with OS 7.3.1.7 from a good friend.
The device is to be bricked.
Professionally I am an IT system electronics technician and as a hobby I am a tecnican-freak, but this is where I reach my limits.
I have already opened the device and tried the hardware method, but I also get an error message in the terminal. So that I cannot unlock the device or the bootloader.
With MTK-SU this is no longer possible with the OS as I have already read and tested.
My question is, is it still possible to crack the device with this build (date 12/20/20)?
Or am I doing something wrong?
Linux installation
mustang
magisk
everything followed as described in these instructions https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/fire-7-2019-mustang-unbrick-downgrade-unlock-root.3944365/
A reasonable instruction video would be desirable if something like that exists
I'm from Germany so sorry if the English is a bit broken
But I hope there is some way to help me
Many Thanks

regularly at Check GPT it breaks off see on pic 2

What device is listed as a lsusb? If you can access the bootrom (MediaTek Phone 6227) you have hope
If you are willing to experiment I have a couple ideas I've been contemplating as I have a device I want to root also.
Basically two methods mirroring the original, a hardware method (involves probing SPI/UART) or software method leveraging finding a exploit in userspace. (linux or arm based)
WARNING: DO NOT PROCEED IF YOU WANT TO KEEP YOUR DEVICE
I HAVE NOT TESTED ANYTHING PERSONALLY!
I'm just spitballing from a perspective of a advanced Electronics engineer and Linux backround. (none in pentesting or ANDROID environments) Which is what we need.
The Mediatek vulnerability was a once in 5 years exploit and it seems unlikely to find another exploit that wide open.
For the hardware method you'd need a USB - > TTL/UART/SPI adaptor you could try to crack root but if there isn't even a login console then you are out of luck with that aspect.
Proposed software methods:
This might be made to work if compiled for arm32-bit

Got a interesting idea i'm working on, todo with fbtool and unbrick on this particular type of Fire 7, requires compiling lineage, possibly a bit of reverse engineering - currently thinking about it still:
Fire 7 2020 mustang Brainstorming
Trying to brainstorm ideas for unbrick (firstly) of the new Fire 7 2020 Gen 9 models that feature 6.3.1.5 and were released post Feb 2020. Already have a method to downgrade this and many other devices (HD8 Onyx and HD 10 post patch Feb 2020)...
forum.xda-developers.com
The problem is that they secretly revised the hardware for that model .
After the first production run made in 2019 , without the public knowing
They started to lock down the whole tablet.
its not only software locked , its hardware locked on the chip .
Most people didn't realize they did this after the initial 2019 production run .
Any chance I get I advise people not to purchase a newer amazon tablet . especially
The gen 9 .
You can't go wrong with the tablet 7 , gen 7 .
every variant for that Amazon model is flashable . even the ones that need to be opened up
to do the hardware short .
It doesn't look good for the gen 9 model ,
Its locked down harder then Pam Anderson growing up in the 80s .
I've successfully downgraded from FireOS 7 using the hardware method. Latest magisk canary etc

That could be more documentation on exactly what year model 7 , gen 9 could

but absolutely there could always be exceptions.

However, you can use the hardware method, which installs twrp and allows for downgrade back to 6
Maybe someone will be interested in running Windows 10 on OP6/T. I'm using it on my device... aaand it's not suitable for daily use, but it's pretty capable as of now.
Current status of the project:
- CPU works
- Touchscreen works
- USB works
- GPU partially works (there are some glitches, that's why driver isn't pushed yet to github)
- audio doesn't work
- wifi/bt doesn't work
- and pretty much everything else doesn't work

i saw your video of installing the OS, so when ever i want to boot-up windows i have to flash the "UEFI" image to boot-up windows ? cuz i saw some video about this , when rebooting the device normally through android or windows io reboot to android, but to boot-up windows they flash UEFI image through flashboot and it boot-up windows, right ? if so, when every i want windows i should use another PC to use windows on my mobile device

The project is a lot more stable than it was (although still a long way to go). WiFi, Bluetooth and battery as well as a few other things have had support added since this post. I recommend joining the project's Telegram or Discord if you are interested in updates or need help with something..I don't know if I'm allowed to post the links here but it's not too hard to find
