Hey guys,
for all those who can't wait for offical OTA Update:
this is my "enhanced" AOSP Lollipop build.
What does enhanced mean?
I've added some GoogleApps from Nexus 9 Factory Image
and added SuperSU.
Is this offical from Google?
Yes and no. It's offical AOSP, but i've built it and added the apps.
Download:
Download from Dropbox <--- this is a flashable zip
Status:
Working:
- mainly everything
Not working:
- play services, i think i forgot to set right permissions...
- root, but that's not my part. SuperSU 2.19 beta is installed.
I'm waiting...
What Google Apps are included? And... What if you include them all so we have a sort of "factory image"?
Danke!!
Thanks!!
German power???
Thanks

I'm testing now with PA 4.4.4 Pico + updates from N9 image (Play Books, Music, Movies, Earth, Camera, etc.)
Testing because my own build doesn't boot, so I'm doing it based on C-o-M's Build.
EDIT: Doesn't boot means it hangs at Google logo
Current status of my own build:
Bugs:
- everything, does not boot
Works:
- nothing
However, if you want to try, maybe i just have to wait...: https://mega.co.nz/#!tBtTUAYA!Vr9fQlwS_mfSn-d_-6AjhVOXUqGrBzmj7riQqBu4zZA
Current status of build based on C-o-M:
Bugs:
- AOSP/Keyboard Force Close
Working:
- everything other
Does GPS work on the build based on C-o-M? Also, please check your pm's
I thought you were only supposed to make a new thread when you actually had something, not for a placeholder, and especially not to phish for "thanks".
@TheXorg : I feel his not the place for placeholder thread and should be movied to General till you get stuff sorted...you shouldn't create a thread in development forum...till you have something worth releasing and tested
Cant wait for the dowload link

Yeah, I also do agree with you both, so I withdrawed my "Thanks" until something more concrete is proposed.

Althrough everyone now is hating me because my internet is so slow, i've got a mainly working build. gapps are fully working, no keyboard fc. only thing which isn't working is supersu, but that's not my part. latest supersu beta is installed. root access works via adb (run adb root and then adb shell and you are root). i'm uploading it now, please don't like till you tested it
EDIT: added screenshot of playstore downloading an app
Thread closed. Please notify me or other mod once the build is uploaded.
Thank you.

If you do a clean installation your data will be deleted. In order to save your data, you have to install the rom doing a dirty installation, this mean you have to mark in advanced wipes only Dalvilk, System and Cache. In this way, you will keep your data.
If this fixes night mode colors with sRGB it's awesome. OnePlus is going really really strong with OP3/3T series.
The date of the zip it's 26.04.2017 Same like H2os site.

Finally a darker notification shade
This is a beta, working build of LineageOS 14.1 for markw, Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime. As many here already know, I had a problem with my phone while developing this, my USB port snapped out of place, so I can't continue development at this moment. Actually, only will be able to fully resume it when I can get my hands on a new phone / fix mine, which is something ongoing. Anyways, through the help of many members from this forum, we were able to make sure the basic rom works, so people can have a taste of Nougat, if they can live with the compromises. Source is also coming up, so other people hopefully can fix what was left broken during my time procrastinating from developing . No fancy announcements, JUST READ to make sure you understand everything BEFORE INSTALLING!
What works: Everything, except,
- Camcorder in Snap (use another camera application to record videos - Stills work just fine);
- Fingerprint;
IMPORTANT INFORMATION (READ THIS SECTION 7 TIMES, AT LEAST, BEFORE POSTING ANY LUDICROUS QUESTIONS):
- Rom is based on stock 8.2.4.0, therefore ADVANCED REBOOT ONLY WORKS WITH 8.2.4.0 BOOTLOADER!
- BE AWARE THAT HW ENCRYPTION FROM 7.1 DIFFERS FROM 6.0 (WHICH OUR RECOVERY IS BASED ON), THEREFORE, IF YOU HAVE AN ENCRYPTED STORAGE AND BOOT UP THIS ROM, YOUR RECOVERY WON'T BE ABLE TO READ INTERNAL STORAGE ANYMORE! THIS CAN BE FIXED BY FLASHING A 7.1 BASED RECOVERY (WHICH I WILL COMPILE, BUT NEED TESTERS, SINCE I CAN'T DO IT MYSELF) OR SIMPLY BY HAVING AN NON ENCRYPTED STORAGE (See Guide by @Modest Mind - https://forum.xda-developers.com/redmi-4-prime/how-to/redmi-4-prime-pro-markw-how-to-disable-t3594239). THEREFORE: I STRONGLY SUGGEST ONLY PEOPLE WITH NON ENCRYPTED STORAGE TO FLASH THIS. NO QUESTIONS ABOUT THIS, THINGS ARE DIFFERENT, SIMPLE AS THAT!
- Flash it normally (Rom + Su addon for 14.1, arm64, GAPPS). Reboot to ROM.
That's it for now

Since a decrypted phone is highly recommended before flashing this rom (at this early stage) here is a small guide as how to disable encryption on your Redmi 4 Prime (markw):

There is already one Nougat rom with no flickering issues, maybe that will help you fix your problems? Thanks for trying out, hopefully this will become a fully working ROM some day.
This is great news. Can't wait the stable version for daily use:good:

Sources are up. @Modest Mind, thanks for the tip, I'm adding that to op. Thanks again, my man.
Hey guys, I tested the ROM and I can not wait to use it every day, its running very smooth, Fingerprint doesn't work :/, I also installed the GAPPS and it worked very well no FC or error.
It would be useful to indicate the procedure for installing 14.1. For example:
Reboot to recovery
Wipe system, cache, dalvik / art cache, date
firmware_V8.2.4.0
Flash rom zip and gapps
Reboot
Thank you for your work @jacoghi, I'm glad that you have built a bootable build of Los 14.1, I'm looking forward to trying it out. I'm also really thankful that you have released sources on github, many devs will appreciate it in my opinion. Thank you again, keep up the good work!

So if the response in terminal is "can't find service: surfaceflinger" does that mean that hwc isn't activated yet ?
Already flashed this module on ViperOS with magisk 17

However logs in terminal are

is there anything like this for other devices or is hwc only an issue on this one?
