You'll have to wait quite a bit for that, many of us(or probably all of us) are yet to receive the update including the EYE experience. And previous leaks suggest the update to come in the second half of 2015

I get a best hope for march of april and we will not have the eye experience.

REQUEST: Someone with rooted AT&T S5 Active w/OTA Updates

Anyone who has an AT&T S5 Active (g870a) who is rooted and has/will take the OTA Marshmallow update, PLEASE go to your /cache folder and locate the update .ZIP and upload it for those of us with an unlocked, unrooted device that cannot take OTA! I know it has been asked, but it has yet to happen. Surely SOMEONE can cooperate ��

Nevermind! I've found the file already. Someone uploaded PH2 almost a week ago but the thread quickly got buried. It's the "PBx" build which I need. If someone has one, please upload it.

You'll need to be on at least PB1 to install this. I ended up borrowing an AT&T SIM from someone's phone and updated to PB1 and then PH2.

Any link to MR for October 2020 (00WW_5_16A)? Full OTA?

Since my question is always 'overposted', I just ask in this new thread only this question and please nothing else but the answer to it:
Looking the the link to the latest MR full OTA release MR for October 2020 (00WW_5_16A).
There is a link on the telegram group but it lists the full ota as a K release which after updating to it brings only SP4 and not the MR as listed on Nokia site.

It's the true way to ask your such kind of question in a new thread.
5.16A looks like to still be in release progress. Not everybody has recieved it (including me). I don't think we are going to have full OTA file (the last one is 5.150). So the only way to have this build will be through over the air (partial OTA update files can't be sideloaded). And K is equivalent to G-SP04.

I know, that is why I asked it. Duh. And if you did not get it, go to telegram site and just download it. So back to my question here, if anybody will have it, kindly post a link. Thank you.

I don't know if this is exactly what you want, as I don't think it's the "full" image, just the OTA update, but this is the OTA V5.16A which my global Nokia 8 TA-1012 was just updated to, link captured by bug report: https://android.googleapis.com/packages/ota-api/package/893b8fb3b0f02af9f16b519bdbaabdbe7e5d7fcd.zip
Feel free to share to the telegram OTA group, etc. As the final MR I hope this can be the future basis for developing stable ROMs, on which I see there has been some good progress!
Now, you can do me a favour - please tell me what's changed between this and the previous version, which for me was 5.15G? This could help us understand why not all phones received this MR, which could also help with ROM development.

Thanks @madb1lly, it sideloaded fine on my TA-2012. I'll let you know if I notice any differences but I'm not using my Nokia 8 much, just wanted to get that final MR.

Hi @madb1lly , any news on the 00WW_5_16A update experience? I'm having problems with strong interfering noises on the other end of most phone calls. It only happens on longer conversations after talking more then 30 min. Do not know how to find the source of this problem. Tried a new SIM card, emptied cache on phone app storage, and nothing helps. Everything else is great and happy with my Nokia 8. Was hoping this last security patch could maybe solve the problem. Anybody have similar problems??

To my understanding, Funtouch OS is an older version of the software beung replaced by OriginOS
You should try flash an older zip of FuntouchOS, provided the bootloader dosent change.

Hello @Vattu, yes, it is possible to do so, but first, you will have to unroot the phone with the boot image you have copied from the phone. If you get stuck, please feel free to reach out to me via email -> [email protected]

Hi @cut3gh0st, I registered on this site specifically to thank you for this excellent job you've done. It literally took me about 30 minutes to root my phone. I did this using my Debian (bullseye) box, so I can confirm with certainty that it also works on Linux. Thanks.

I haven't tested it on the Indian version, but it should work. Try it out and let us know
