Why not?
Wiped/formatted data and flashed firmware, rom, gapps as per instructions but stuck on boot animation for 30 minutes or more.
It's a beautiful boot animation but would be nice if the phone actually booted into system.
Any ideas?

You flashed magisk before first boot? Are you sure you formatted data ( type yes )? Which Gapps?

Tried with both flashing magisk before first boot and no magisk. Yes, formatted data. Used stock gapps, can try another gapps and see if it makes any difference.

Front portrait in miui cam works only in miui.
Our ports depend on Android One devices, which dont have front portrait.

Do this step by step :
1. Boot to twrp and wipe everything apart from OSB other
2. Format data with twrp and type yes
3. reboot to recovery (from twrp to twrp)
4. Flash firmware 8.6.12, Rom and Gapps (full, nano, Pico or mini)
5. Boot to system
6. Set it phone up
7. Reboot to twrp and flash magisk-16.0.zip
8. Wipe cache and dalvic and boot to system
9. Enjoy HavocOS

Portrait mode does NOT working ( miui camera ) . Doesn't do any effect as portrait, even i choose to shoot portrait mode .

Dude, I was asking NeoArian coz he is the one porting both.
Try to understand a question before jumping in. I've ported more ROMs than you'll ever install. I'm just asking him from porting perspective, he must have some strong reason to port havoc as well as RR as well as more in pipeline maybe.

You can try dirty flashing but clean flash is recomended

It's LOS base. Not OOS. So I'm sure it'll be the same as lineage.

Nano/pico always is recommended.
Should we wipe before and during flashing?

Not sure. I tried with nano and stock. Setup Wizard worked with stock for sure. I just used TB to remove all of the Gapps I don't use.
So the system UI keeps crashing and when I try to enter twrp and enter my pin, it is just stuck at decrypting. Any advice?

How can I remove my pin, in settings, before the UI crashes, there is no option to change from pin to swipe unlock...

Important Note:
Guys, if you are trying to use havoc and you want to still getting the fingerprint in screen (FOD) working DON'T touch anything on settings>havoc settings>status bar
Cause for some reason it breaks the sensor and you need to delete all your data for make them work again.
I'll try to fix on next builds, remember FOD is on "beta" status on lineage for the same, they need to be checked more for push them on the official repos c:

- Reboot to TWRP and format data
- Reboot to TWRP and wipe system, data, cache and dalvik cache
- Reboot to TWRP and flash the vendor (maybe not needed) ?
- Reboot to system and setup your device
- Reboot to TWRP and flash Magisk 19.4 (optional)
Or maybe not useful to wipe system ?
Fingerprint not working. When trying to set the fingerprint up, the sensor does not turn on. This is okay for an initial release, but please add it to the OP as a known bug.
I performed a clean flash and flashed 9.8.1 FW/Vendor

Not on my device and have flashed quite a few custom ROMs. Wipe system BUT don't reboot in recovery, just flash the ROM after that.
Also in this Rom, BUG : NFC not working like on PE and Mokee and Para.....
I love new development of roms for our device and really appreciate your work.
Just a question, im on Havoc OS already and its really good. Lots of customization possible and good battery life.
I was on this rom before you guys posted this topic. I see that FP and NFC isnt working but it works with me.
Are there more people developing Havoc OS? My build is from 09/08 so its older.

For me FP does not work. It worked one or two times direct after clean install and then no more. Also it needs high brightness (70-80%) for working. Anyway thankyou for the Rom.

Everything works except FP and volte, and call recording sound is so low that I don't recommend using the built in one for now until he fixes that.

My a705fn is stuck on boot, the circles are spinning for like 30 mins, and nothing happens! What should i do?

Same here
Did you performed a clean flash? (when coming from another you need to do factory reset in TWRP).
When you face this, go to TWRP and do a factory reset from there, then boot to system.

The last rom won't boot on my device (SM-A705FN).
I tried clean flash,dirty flash,flash only rom without gapps,with gapps and nothings.
Stock rom works well.
This rom is for this model or not?

It's tested and built on the dutch variant of the A70. Unfortunately it doesnt support all models. On my Phone i cant boot Graraks LOS16.

I have Dutch version, but can't get it to work, no matter how I install, format, factory reset or do anything else... running Garak's LOS 16 now, but that has the issue that I do not have roaming...

I think its in the gesture part of the customization settings. On the system update tab, i think Havoc OS doesnt have OTA updates. Let's wait for Varun to reply to this case.
Hello guys!
I decided to try some AOSP based ROM and flashed this one. So far so good, very clean and smooth but I discovered the alarms are set without sound by default and that cannot be changed. When I try, thr app is crashing. Also, I think Titanium Backup doesn't work very wel with this rom. Does this is known bug or is just me?

I am building the latest version of Havoc with some changes. Try using nano when installing gapps and not pico. Thanks!

Hi Dev, I clean flashed HAVOC from above link, there's no camera app by default . I tried open cam and many other gcam ports, none of them work .
attached is logcat when i tried running Gcam supported for our device. Hope this helps.

Also did you flash gapps nano and what vendor are you using? DId u use zgcam libs before using Havoc?

Thanks sir. I'm not sure if both Sourceforge and mega files are same but I downloaded mega file. I first flashed stock Android 10 and then clean flashed Havoc and it worked.

I also notice the bug. We will try to fix it as soon as we can!
i am using the mega file now,noticed the homebutton will vibration but not wake up device. CR can wake up by homebutton with AOD or not.
