Hello everyone, i hope someone can help me. I have an honor 3c (H30-U10) that I turned on yesterday after a year that remained off. In the language selection screen (the last time I used it I had formatted it) I can not go ahead, if I choose the language and I "forward" I get random messages of apps that are crashed and I can not continue with the configuration. From the recovery I've done it several times "wipe data/factory reset" and "wipe cache partition" but continue to give the same error, how can i solve this problem? I do not have root permissions and I have not installed any roms, but there is that stock (I do not remember the version).
Thank you for the help!

Hello There...Im new here in xda so I hope you can help me with my problem. I upgraded my i9000 last night through Kies and I got a pop up for available update of JM1 for my i9000.I follewed all the instructions, when my i9000 reboot, these things keeps on popping up on my screen every 2 sec, tw launcher has stopped unexpectedly and so many other applications. Before I started the update,my phone is on Ryanzas One Click Lag Fix, obviously I can't enter the home screen and no menu icons or anything seen in my device except for applications button which I cannot access either. I can do the 3 buttons recovery mode, but I dont know what to do next. How can I reset my phone to factory settings?? any help will be greatly appreciated.
BTW: I already tried wipe data/factory reset, wipe cache partition but no use. I still come up with same home screen and annoying pop up.
Help me please with this problem.
Can you please give me ways and steps on how to return my device to its factory settings, including the firmware. Thank you so much!
Hello people o/
I've downloaded a CM11 rom for my galaxy ace and i'm having some problems with it.
As soon as I installed everything(gapps, cmlogin) the phone turned on normally, but now I can't use neither the volume button or the back/options button, and just to add up there's no keyboard installed on my phone anymore.
Can someone please help me with it? It's really frustrating

Boot into recovery and restore a backuped rom , you can also use Odin to flash a fresh stock rom
Here there's a usefull q&a thread, have a look
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2313363
Sorry to resurrect an old thread but the same thing is happening to me. Clean install, wipe data, format system and it's still there. It seems that this problem only pops up after installing Gapps. But as far as I know, it's Gapps for 4.4.4. using this particular CM11 build. http://download.androidarmv6.org/_builds/cooper/stable/ RC10.

You need to install correctly the ROM... which procedure have you followed to flash the ROM?
i have used the CWM-6.0.5.3_1-cooper to flash the rc 14 after clearing the cache dalvik and data.factory reset. and after flashingi have installed the minigoogle apps. i have tried the rc13 ,14 nd the stable release released today. all of them behave the same. Please let me know how i have to enable the keyboard. i am unable to connect to wifi also as unable to type the password in the prompt.
let me know if there is any other process to be followed while flashing the files.

The solution for my my problem was:
Wipe data/factory reset AND
Clear cache and Dalvik cache AND
Format system partition
This can be done using ClockworkMod using various menus.

Set as solution. Maybe you want to add the software you used for these steps. – davidbaumann May 20 '14 at 4:42

There is no additional software involved, other than booting into Recovery. – Matthias Urlichs Sep 13 '15 at 10:16

I also had to install CM again after these steps, but maybe because I said "No" to rooting the phone again on a reboot, and perhaps CM does that anyway (yes this is not the most intellectual comment) – Matthias Nov 25 '16 at 16:44
Hi XDA community,
I need urgent help!
Problem:
My Xiaomi Mi 3 WCDMA freezes when booting up. First the "MI" logo appears, after that the "android" logo on the bottom too (the last step before the lockscreen comes up), but then nothing happens. It just remains like this as if it was freezed...
What I've done:
I disabled the host files in the app "Adaway" because I wanted to click on a commercial link. I didn't reboot at that time, although it was recommended from the app itself. Then I enabled the whole app again and rebooted eventually.
Now I've the described problem.
I still can get into CWM and bootloader and so I wiped cache and dalvik cache, but it didn't help. The last thing I want to do is to preform data/factory reset, because I have no backups at all. Neither from the internal SD card (the device only has an internal), nor from any apps (Whatsapp etc.).
Do you guys have any ideas/solutions? It's the last hope I have...
Best regards,
Prolution
hello there,
i recently installed cyanogen mod 11 (4.4 kitkat) on my phone via CWM. i used following guide to restore my data:
http://androidforums.com/threads/guide-to-retaining-data-after-flashing-a-new-rom.682090/ (basically just restoring my data through a cwm option).
however, the system keeps optimizing 78 apps on every boot. on the first boot it were around 170 apps. i tried some of the solutions on the internet, e.g wiping my dalvik cache (which leads to oprimizing the 170 apps again) or not charging while booting, needless to say none of them worked.
one solution i havent tried yet is to reinstall the apps. i would like to know if you have suggestions which may work. also please tell me if i you need any further information.

Have you tried:
Boot (and update), software shutdown, reboot? (i.e. select Power Off on the screen)
Boot (and update), hardware shutdown, reboot? (i.e. hold down the power button until it dies)
Boot (and update), remove and replace battery, reboot? (i.e. don't let the operating system shutdown properly at all)
Taking a backup after it's updated, then restoring from that backup?
Wiping regular cache as well as dalvik?
That's just "this might work" things I might try.
As for actually diagnosing the issue and prescribing a targeted response - that's beyond my expertise.
assuming with "update" you mean the optimization process: yeah, tried most of them except your fourth suggestion. going to try that one soon. even if it should not work, your answer is appreciated

Not sure but many people here tried this list and I think none of them reported any bootloop so far. You may tried to remove something else.
So for now, can you get into the recovery menu with holding both Power button + Volume up? I saw a menu called Package Installer, did you try that? And how about the menu called "System Verification" as well? If nothing works, then you may need to factory reset everything.

Yes, I can log in, here is the screen
Inside "CLEAR DATA" i can clear cache and CLEAR ALL DATA
Inside "Install System Software" It connects to the wifi network and looks for new updates, telling me that the recent one is already installed and nothing else
Inside "calibration System" it tells me that it is verifying the integrity and that the integrity check of the system files was successful
Inside "Enter Safe Mode" It restarts and returns to the previous bootloop, as in the "normal" boot, but here it continues to vibrate at each reboot (Loop)
Nothing else ... I didn't do anything else, just deleted and debloated from that list, nothing more
Update: Used clear all data and hard reset phone.. Now work

Yeah as I said, the last option is to do factory reset your phone if you don't have anything important on your phone now. Not sure if you did something wrong with the list, just remember don't remove the vivo home launcher without installing at least one 3rd party launcher. If not then you will get into bootloop again.

Hi bmw320cd,
If you are still factory reset state, can you upload your battery stats (with details/system)
Mine, after small debloat takes 16% (Android system) + 7% (Android OS).
Thanks!
