Hello
My N950F smartphone does not have VoLTE enabled.
How or with which ROM / Firmware VoLTE is enabled
I have Oreo
Thank you very much in advance
I have a 950F 128 GB, and it came out of the box with no volte enabled, I received a message a month later from my carrier telling me that volte was available for my device but I had to take my device to them for activation, and that was it, I took it to them , they changed the sim card and now volte is active and available, to make this clear, I bought my device from my carrier in prepaid mode, so it is branded but unlocked for any carrier

Does the P10 work on T-Mobile VoLTE?
Interesting development. I am in the USA and have a VTR-L29. The 8.0.0.360(C185) build was pushed out to me a few days ago. Now under the Wireless & Networks --> Mobile Network menu, I have an option for VoLTE calls that is on.
I honestly hadn't thought to look until I was on a call today and the voice sounded different.
Still no option for WiFi calling, but I'm happy to see VoLTE working.

Your operator must support volte and you must have 4G sim card..
My operator support only devices Huawei, Samsung, LG, Sony..
Hi all,
Im looking for some help with my Note 8 which I bought outright from Vodaphone "Unlocked".
Due to coverage issues I have had to switch to telstra (Telstra sim) which seemed to work ok with no issues. Untill I realised that VoLTE was not enabled nor is their an option to enable/ disable this setting.
I have tried a Vodafone sim and the VoLTE option is displayed and I'm able to toggle it on or off, However reinstalling my Telstra sim doesn't give me the same option.
I have spoken to Vodaphone who advised my the phone is unlocked and in some sense of the word it is (No branding whatsoever) Though according to some sources online its because the phone is part of Vodaphones database which specify the IMS Carrier settings.
I have attempted to flash the phone with an "official telstra" Rom sourced from sam mobile and it made no differance. How can I wipe these annoying IMS carrier settings so i can use VoLTE and video chat with any carrier no just Vodafone.
Any help, tips or tricks will be greatly appreciated.
Cheers,
Natz.
When I bought my N8, directly from my carrier, it was branded, but unlocked, no Volte option anywhere, 1 week later I received a message from my carrier telling me that the Volte calls were available, And instructed me to take my device to them for activation,, I did it, providing proof of purchase, they only checked the IMEI, then they made the pertinent changes in their system, nothing to the phone, and issued me a new sim card, after putting the sim, The Volte option appeared, you may need to go to Telstra, anyway that was my experience
Only after the most recent OTA update (July, 2019). completely stock, brand new device. put in already activated Verizon Sim, picks up LTE signal and registers IMS and VoLTE works fine. the only issue I have is that IMS is not registered after rebooting, needs get into airplane more and back to register, but afterwards works fine, even after losing signal. It was NOT the case before, looks like Samsung finally added VoLTE to dual-sim CSC in last June/July updates. the second SIM is Project Fi data only SIM, also works fine and looks like registered IMS, but since it is data only, can't try VoLTE.
I also noticed same in my SM-N960F/DS note 9. stock rom can registered IMS hence VoLTE now. but I keep have problem with SM-N960F where it only picks up LTE signal after rebooting, but not after having lost signal or out of airplane mode. hence decided to try a SM-N9600 instead, and it worked out.
Now I don't have any reason for Note 10 anymore....
Better samsung added VoLte support ON N9600 otherwise I made my mind to move on with Different OEM ! I was gave up with Samsung for having region Restrictions!
Hi,
I have been trying to get VoLTE working on my
SM-N9600 (bootloader unlocked Snapdragon version)
but I cannot seem to get past this error "Volte is not supported by this software version please contract customer services" I have manually changed out the CSC to my home country but I noticed in the CSC verifier it says unsupported items and list all the VOLTE items has anyone else experienced this?
Yes I am rooted already if required
You need to check if your Cell Provider provides support for VoLTE. As some Cell Networks do not offer that service. If they do, get them to check that it is activated on your SIM.
Got 2 sim cards from different providers
Telecom NZ (Spark NZ) the rep said they have manually activated it on my account
Vodafone NZ Launched and testing SIM in working device
Hello all,
During my tour in India in 2018 I bought an A6 DUOS (Made in India). I now have this phone back with me in Europe and I read I could have VoLTE on my carrier (Vodafone Romania). Officially, A6 is even listed on their website as VoLTE and VoWifi capable. However, I don't see the option anywhere, and even in the hidden menu the option for VoLTE provisioning is grayed out. The phone is up-to-date. Wondering if there are any option to fix this.
Any ideas are welcome, thank you very much.
