Disable Xposed Modules while Bootloop. - Xposed General

Hello
Flashed Xposed via Magisk Manager.
Tried several modules which worked until i got some outdated and now my phone is in bootloop.
Anyone know how i can deactivate Xposed?
Already tried the Xposed Disabler Zip and tried to delete the module list which doesn't exist on my phone.
I think thats cause i got "systemless Xposed".
What should i do now ? Maybe uninstalling Magisk so Xposed doesnt work anymore?
Thanks

I don't use Magisk myself but, your best bet is to post this question within the following Magisk XPosed thread.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3388268
If all else fails, and you don't receive any responses (within a reasonable amount of time) from the above thread, your next best bet is to ask for some member guidance within the following Magisk General Q&A thread.

Uninstalling magisk won"t help you much
Link below might help you out.
If modules are outdated or not working properly it would cause issues whether systemless or not.

[Discussion] PokeMon Go Magisk Discussion Thread

This thread has been created to reduce the amount of clutter in the main Magisk thread, please discuss Magisk + PokeMon Go here.
With me is this happening, did the process and pokemon jog go wheel with root, however when I install Xposed does not work, I downloaded the zip and the apk Xposed, desintalei what was, I was in recovery installed the zip, when you restart disable the root by magisk manager and I run the game without success, to turn off the Xposed and restart the game runs, but when active and restart does not work, sometimes the apk Xposed for work, or is giving error and asking to check records, someone help there? They will excusing my English
So at this point I can't log into pogo because I have Xposed installed (systemless). I was using magisk with phh super user...wasn't working with SuperSU (even with compatible magisk)
At this point if I do a soft reboot it deactivates Xposed (for whatever reason) I can play Pokemon but have to reboot to activate Xposed. So anytime I want to play I have to soft reboot then full reboot. Luckily I don't have to go through optimizing apps...but is there a way around this?
Someone bored should make a zip that removes everything and reinstalls the rest of the stuff needed.

You?
I rather wait for an xposed update. I can play with 0.35 if I really get the itch in the meanwhile. I hardly battle and until legendaries start to appear, I'm just slowly leveling up.
If 86.2 is working, like someone mentioned on the other thread, there has to be a workaround for the 86.5 (maybe a future 86.6?)
Only gripe is that Google is all over this because of paynet so it will be a constant battle.
Only way to calm down this race is for Google/Niantic easing pressure on pogo security so there aren't so many people trying to hack the system and leaving paynet alone.
That would be the smartest move for all (not mentioning calming down thousands of root users).
Interesting times

Actually systemless xposed v86.2 is working fine woth Pokemon go. Some people posted the steps in the other thread.
So I flashed the latest chainfire SuperSU 2.78 r1, v86.2 systemless xposed, and suhide v0.53. Everything works good only problem I'm having excessive location jumps to/from real location while playing pogo with xposed pokemon. Used to have the odd jump back/forth but this is every 5-10 seconds.

I thought I was going crazy. One whole day, two full resets and re-roots later and found the system-less xposed glitch that took me here. Does this 86.2 really works?. Don't want another round with my phone.

Yes, but there are the correct way to flash it with SuperSU and suhide. You can find these steps in the systemless xposed as I told u.

I have tried so many times to do xposed systemless but none of them worked.
I returned to stock image. I created file with "SYSTEMLESS=true" in /data/.supersu
I flashed SuperSU 2.78. Then I flashed systemless xposed v.86.2.
I flashed suhide 0.53. wipe cache/dalvik and nothing works because I think its detecting the xposed framework

Magisk requires a full boot too load is modules, that's why xposed is disabled with a soft boot.
You can also use the disable xposed toggle in the material xposed installer. It would still require a reboot.
Guess I'm out of luck. My phone doesn't meet SuHide requirement. I'm running twrp v.2.8.7.0 not v.3.x.
Anyone know if there is an 86.2 version for Lollipop? all I can find is the sdk23 version for Marshmellow.

Xposed

Good day all
Will xposed work on Note 8 (N950FD)?
Thanks in advance
I would guess that an installer for an S8+ might work since it is basically the same device. Since rooting with TWRP and SuperSU I've flashed a few things meant for S8 devices and they either work properly as is or with very minor script tweaking.

Which root do you have—SuperSU or Magisk? I have Magisk, so tried with 26-07-17-xposed-systemless-v87-sdk25-by-PurifyOS.zip but that throws me into a bootloop directly?
How did you proceed chronologically?
First the Xposed apk (which one?), then flash the Purify zip? Did you wipe anything before or after, data or cache? I've read many conflicting reports, since you've done it should be possible to replicate it…

Hey guys,
Trying to install the systemless XPosed for Nougat on my Note 8, but for some reason, after installation, it stops my 256GB Exynos Note 8 from booting up. Was able to recover it by running the Magisk uninstaller via TWRP.
Noticed that on the official XPosed thread, it states that it'll 'cause boot loop issues on stock Samsung ROM, but on the Systemless XPosed Page, it claims the SDK 24 and 25 are universal, so, what's wrong?
Any suggestions on getting systemless XPosed working on my Exynos Note 8 with Nougat? I especially want the systemless variant as it allows easy on/off whenever I'm going shopping and want to use Android Pay instead of having to uninstall all modules.

Not able to Install Magisk Modules

I have successfully installed Magisk on my device Root works but when I try to install a magisk module I get an error about not being able to mount magisk.img. When I try to install through recovery the module is flashes without any errors but once you open the app It displays "no modules installed". Before the G5s plus that I have a had the Moto G5 Plus. It had the same problem I just had to install another kernel over stock one and Magisk would work as expected. Is there a kernel for stock room that would support Magisk. Anyone else had this problem or is it just me?
ive no issue installing modules through magisk. Theres a lot of factors here. You didnt mention but id presume you installed magisk through recovery. Also, I presume you installed xposed. Maybe the modules your using require xposed to work. I forgot the exact steps to install xposed through magisk, but its not hard, and Id assume anyways you tried all of that. Have to flask xposed through recovery if I remember, then you can install xposed app apk too through recovery, then open magisk and install the latest xposed there. Im not using a stock rom, however Im fully confident if you properly rooted, and unlocked your phone of course, (I assume you did, just saying) its not a kernel issue. Sorry if I wasnt any help, its all i can think of right now.
When I got the phone I unlocked the bootloader and installed TWRP. When I set up my device I went back to recovery to install Magisk 14.3. It installed correctly and I got root using Magisk but when I try to install any module through the Magisk app I get an error. If I got you right should I try to install Xposed too? I was planning to install Xposed, Magisk version. But when I try that I get an error. I have attached a screenshot of when I try to install Xposed by topjohnwu and Greenify for Magisk. I get the same error.
well, xposed may not be your issue if you cant install any module with magisk manager. The modules, majority of them, if not all of them, i dont know, do not require xposed. Some do, most do not. Now please keep in mind, i could be wrong. I would say this, no harm in installing xposed, its basically a must get anyways for many awesome apps/modules. How you install, first install the xposed manager, youll have to look around for it, its not on the play store. Then downkoad magisk xposed through magisk. Once you download that zip file boot into twrp and install xposed through twrp.
This is a youtube on it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MCcvsOp83A4 Now thing is, this may not fix any of your problems. But theres a chance it may. Like i said either way you want xposed on rooted phones anyways.
Patched kernel for stock. I have no problem running modules on Magisk. Flash in recovery.

Stuck in Bootloop after installing some Modules

Hello everyone,
I used Xposed for some days and I didn't have any issues. Yesterday I tried out some new modules and now I'm stuck with my rooted Galaxy S6 in a bootloop.
In most Solutions it is said that you have to remove "modules.list" form /data/data/de.robv.android.xposed.installer/conf/
but I don't have a /conf folder.

There's a few other possibilities you can try...
The following thread is specific to the "Xposed Modules Desactivator".
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3372942
I can't endorse that myself since I've never personally tried it before but, it seems to work for some members.
You can also go to the bottom of the following threads OP and use its attachment...
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=24267797
... that's named the "Xposed-Disabler-Recovery".
It's a Recovery Flashable zip file aimed at just disabling XPosed itself and the modules won't load if it's disabled.
In addition regarding the disabler zip, it basically does the same thing via recovery as if you had opened up the XPosed Installer app and selected to turn it off. Then if you wanted to Enable XPosed, just open up the app and select to turn it back on again (of course you'll have to reboot the device to complete the Enabling of XPosed).
Good Luck!

Or from /data/user_de/0/de.robv.android.xposed.installer/conf/ depending on your Android version.
Unfortunately none of it worked for me. I ended up doing a nandroid backup and flashing a random stable rom without doing no wipe before. Afterwards everything was fine again

How to safely unroot?

I had installed edexposed yahfa, for gravitybox. And I rooted by having magisk patch the stock boot pulled from the factory image.
I have uninstalled gravitybox from edexposed, and uninstalled riru core and edexposed from magisk.
I just don't want to cause any problems. At this step, what is the correct procedure to unroot and get back to stock? Thank you!

Thanks but I did search. In general, random posts like that are totally unreliable and have caused me more than one brick in the past.
For example, I wouldn't know that I needed to disable edexposed modules then also disable all magisk modules and then specifically uninstall magisk VIA MAGISK if I hadn't read more recent instructions which I can't find in a search now.
So I was hoping this Q/A section would kindly help A my Q with the most current and comprehensive instructions—even if it's only a link to an existing current and complete answer.
Please don't redirect people to random unpredictable search results for anything regarding root.

Well then, how about this. Uninstall all magisk modules, then let Magisk manager uninstall itself, then either clean or dirty fastboot the factory image build that your currently on depending if you want to wipe your internal data or not. If on the other hand, you just want to be non-rooted, without uninstalling all your magisk modules, then all you would have to do is fastboot the stock boot.img to both slots with: fastboot flash boot boot.img --slot=all. Just make sure your platform-tools are up to date before you start. Thank you, and have a pleasant day.
