Hi guys i just wondered when is p9 plus getting nougat update?
No idea. Even there is no information about getting beta. They are ignoring plus version.
I dont get it, P9+ is the Flagship and it should get the Beta. I know there is more P9 users but still the Flagship should have it first!
I agree, it seems the 9 Plus is not one their todo list. Even the latest security patch is 5 months old now
Maybe they will give a beta version for it soon.
For the chinese models atleast, today there was an update to B195, which is said to be the rom from which update to Emui 5 will happen. so id expect a beta within a month while stable rom by January/February.

Because i want it OTA. But Huawei is really, really bad @ customer service!
Android security patch from June, its terrible how HUAWEI tread there customer.
B173 - Still no OTA
B180 - No OTA
I have emailed them about the issue, but i only get "scripded rambling" that updates comes when it comes... bla bla bla
How hard is it to put some files on a server?

not true, if you are on the VIE-AL version the latest update (B195) has October security patch.
the carrier-specific version are slower because the carriers themselves are taking too long trying to insert bloatwares in the package, don't blame it on Huawei...
Got B190 to L29C636. Upgrade manually.
According to the Chinese Huawei forum, public beta for P9+ will start this Wednesday (November 16), I would assume the official ones will be early next year in this case?

As long as you don't root and don't modify the recovery yes, you can still receive the future versions whenever they are available.

C185 is not a carrier-specific version so they are a bit late.

So VIE-AL has got B195 with oct-patch OTA?
Is it possible that our P9 is stopped from a update from security patch on January? Huawei P8 has received April patch today and our phone is not updated from January :crying:

My security patch is November. Fair enough they don't send out the updates till they are ready but surely the security patches need to be sent no matter what.

How?
I have a Huawei P 10 (chinese model) that is currently running VTR-AL00C00B369 (8.0.0.369) which is still on the November 2018 security patch. I would like to update to VTR-AL00C00B372 (8.0.0.372) which is a January 2019 security update. The problem is my device is not approved in Firmware Finder so I was wondering if there is anything I can do to update this manually.
My bootloader is locked and I don't really need/want it unlocked. Thank you for any/all help...it is greatly appreciated!
No, you will have to wait until it gets approved.

Why does it take so long for some devices to be "approved"? There have been many updates for my model released and I'm still stuck on Nov 2018 patches.
Good question; ask Huawei.
From 9.0.0210 (31.03.2019) to 9.0.0.238 (12.05.2019).
Nothing new, patch from April 2019 and no EMUI 9.1

April? Oh, seem c432 version late abit for security updates. C636 already in april for security since mid last month. Now waiting for may..
I have a CPH2305_11_C.44 firmware version for several months with March security updates and it's quite awkward. For me it looks like Oppo just abandoned support of the device. Do everyone have the same firmware version or the newer one spotted somewhere around the globe?
There's already a thread about this. And yes, there are many of us with march security patch...
I have Android 13.1 with the April security patch for more than 1 month
