Is there any way to stop notifications to keep ringing and vibrating while I am using the phone?
It is something very basic. I don't want to be watching videos and receiving sounds / vibrations.
Do I Need to turn the phone to silent everytime I am gonna use it?
Thank you

My phone does not vibrate when I receive a whatsapp message.
Vibrating function is tested and it is working, so no hardware defect. Also I turned on vibrate in whatsapp notifications.
If I put my phone to silent, Whatsapp does vibrate... Very strange, I always had it working on my Xperia S.
Anyone else with this problem?
I actually need what happens to you ! I use sound only to save battery and it vibrates anyway
So far I noticed that this happens if vibrate is set to default
try using short/long vibrate in whatsapp settings
if I set to short ,which I prefer than my Default's, I get sound and vibration
Go to whatsapp settings and put vibrate to long.

Is there any way, Google or 3rd party apps, to enable voice controls that are triggered by button presses on the headphones? I bike a lot and it would make things a lot easier for me, if I could send text messages or dial a phone number without having to take my phone out of my pocket. I was able to do this with my last phone, Galaxy S3, by holding the Action/Play button on my headphones. This worked really well, even when I had a passcode enabled.
Thank you in advance.

I have Tasker. I'll check out what I can find. I've tried to do this in the past, but I always had trouble initiating the tasks when the screen is off.
hi is there any option in stock 7.0 to compeletely turn off vibration for calls and notifications?
In sounds, turn off also vibrate with calls, depending on what messenger you use, there's also an option in there, same goes for most apps like gmail

Hi I'm looking for a mod that stop the ringing sound of incoming calls when I flip over the phone. Just like Samsung, Huawei and LG ( I don't know if some others) devices have it.
The moto app just put the phone in vibration but I want to completely mute the phone.
Anybody know of any mod/app ?
Thanks.
Isn't this covered by moto actions?

Hellou, since i bought my phone every couple of calls i cannot take call via screen slider, allthough i can lock and unlock phone and pull menus, it is annoying, next incomming call is normaly handable.... but today an important call and i could just watch my phone.
Maybe there is a glith in software and sony could now about this for future patches, but if i am isolated case i wouldn not bother contacing them about rhis...

Mine is H8266 too, i cannot find anny pattern though
Sometimes lock+unlock helps sometimes not, overall i love the phone no problems, just this recurring glitch...
Now then i think about it i had the same issue with my z5.
Could i be a issue with truecaller?
Do you have it installed?
