I wanted to try the latest Lineage OS on a Samsung Galaxy S5 LTE International (G900F, klte)
I bought on Amazon a G900F *brand new*. The phone seems legit, in "Settings" I see the correct model number (see attached picture 01)
I try to flash the latest TWRP (v3.2.2-0 klte) with Odin (v3.13.1-3B). I have already all the Samsung USB drivers installed (did this many times with other Samsung devices). Still, I receive an error (see picture 02). Notice that "Reactivation lock" is unchecked (picture 03).
Then I notice something strange: in Download mode, when I receive the error "SECURE CHECK FAIL: recovery" when Odin gives error, I see that the model number is the dreaded G900A, not G900F! (picture 04)
How is this possible? What should I do? The label on the battery says G900F as well.
This user seems to have the same problem, but part of the thread got pruned, so I'm unsure what to do.
Any advice welcome Thanks in advance!

Hey Guys, since there is no A6+ forum on XDA so far, I am putting my question in this forum hopefully I get your support.
I have A6+, I flashed official firmware with the right model number, and the process is successful using ODIN tool and I get the green message "PASS".
but after the reboot, it shows this message:
SECURE FAIL: MODEM
Security Error: this phone has been flashed with unauthorized software & is locked.
Any help is appreciated.
you have solved the problem ?
any one have sulition to fix flash a605x
Ok try and do this as best as I can......
I bought a vwz S8 G950U used off someone from offer up was working fine when I bought it so when I got home I factory reseted to get all the users apps games etc off it and then it asked for a Google log in info (which I don't know) and I tryed to email the person but won't respond
So I tryed to install factory to binary to bypass it from what I been reading says I can do well I can get in factory binary now but now I cannot install oem stock firmware which I have downloaded 7.0 (what was on it ) says factory binary samsmobile and xda but every time odin3 gives me a fail message I have tryed odin3 3.127,3.13.1,3.12.3 and I think 1 more but every time I get a error....
So right now when I turn on the it his to factory binary mode and don't know of this helps but the battery won't charge past 80%....
What I'm asking if someone can be kind enough to help me out with this issue
P.S. I also tryed to instill Oreo 8.0 also but failed as well....
I can get any I go and post pics if that helps as well
Thank you in advance Jason A.KA. PpperoniRedd

5th digit back is boot loader bit number. This error is commonly from trying to flash with older firm Ware than on the devices

Hello I've bought a secondhand
Samsung Galaxy S6 (refurbished)
It is a Verizon or T-mobile phone (Not sure, don't know US carriers. Model says SM-G920T, must be T-mobile, I suppose... )
Seller claimed it is unlocked for other carriers, and it is, it works fine with Canadian carriers SIM cards.
But Samsung pay and Samsung Health wouldn't open, saying the phone is ROOTED.
I've downloaded the RootChecker app, and tested the phone, result:
it isn't rooted.
Background info:
Settings -> About Device -> Status -> Device status
Custom
Settings -> About device -> Model Number
SM-G920T
Settings -> About device -> Build number
NRD90M.G920TUVS6FRC1
My Android version is 7.0
Developer options
OEM unlock - yes
I've downloaded and installed Samsung drivers
developer[.]samsung[.]com/galaxy/others/android-usb-driver-for-windows[/url]
Then, found this
desktop[.]firmware[.]mobi/device:411/firmware:15878
Friendly name Galaxy S6
Model SM-G920T
Name zerofltetmo
Device zerofltetmo
Board universal7420
Android
- Release 7.0
Display ID NRD90M.G920TUVS6FRC1
It is precisely what my phone is.
Odin connected the phone and flashed the firmware
Odin says PASS
Device reboots
(NO blue "Pirate" Android screen)
Just Ordinary SAMSUNG screen with
RED writing
Recovery is not Seandroid Enforcing
And device reBoots to normal
I've tested with RootChecker, no root.
Am I missing something? It seemed super easy in the guides and on Youtube.
And it was simple, aside from the fact phone is not rooted in the end...
i'm facing the same issue.what's the solution?
I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 8 SM-N950F and I am looking to put it back on stock ROM. I have tried downloading several N950F stock BTU ROM's and I tried to flash it in Odin and it gives a message that says FAILED, and my phone that is in download mode says 'sw rev check fail bootloader device 5 binary 1'. I don't know what the problem is. I need to fix this phone as soon as possible, so if you can assist me I would gladly appreciate it.

What is your baseband (in about phone/software info)? eg. N950FXXU5CRK1
If your baseband has N950FXX(S or U)5.... (notice the U5, and pay attention to the "#" after U or S). Find the correct firmware with that number or higher and flash it.
You can Not flash any firmware with N950FXXU4(3,2,1) on top of the installed N950FXXU5.... the bootloader won't allow it.
Try another cable or USB slot and see if the usb-c slot isn't dirty. Also make sure you have the latest ODIN software.
Hello everyone,
I'm currently experiencing a problem on my Note 9 since yesterday. I can no longer start it and every time I try I have a red message in the top left that says "Custom Binary Blocked By FRP Lock". I specify that I bought the phone new and I did not try to install any exotic firmware or whatever. After many searches, I wanted to install from the site Sammobile and the software Odin the right firmware while obviously wanting to keep my data (several well done tutorials are present on Youtube).
After many attempts to flash the phone with Odin (an old version as well as a new one) and from several firmwares (more or less recent as well), nothing works, the phone keeps restarting in loop as long as I keep the buttons pressed to tell me always the same message: "Custom Binary Blocked By FRP Lock".
A big thank you to whoever can help me !
