Thank you a lot. We obviously need that mod. The worst sd821 experience comes with ours phones but with this mod every rom would be smooth as butter.

Miui 8.7.26 global beta 6 hours screen time
I'm on latest LOS 15.1, this module made the phone smoother and faster. Thank you.

I've got 3 hours SoT on full brightness same as before this mod. But some games like pubg (60fps high settings) have really heavy battery consumption. Asphalt 9 is normal btw.

I also flashed via TWRP and nothing happenned. Finally I installed module with Magisk Manager and now testing. Thanks Dev.

i get this battery life in the stock nougat rom
but in the stock marshmellow i get areound 5 hrs
now im trying oreo.

It depends on you, I for instance get a bit more sot than you, but it lasts me for whole day so I'm happy as it is, as long as it is consistant.
People posting 6+hrs of sot are not using the phone hard enough, and have made that setup just to get that kind of sot, you won't see them having that kind of stats consistently xD
I have shared my sot so you can compare, I'm on FreedomOS CE v3.2 (open beta 19, oreo) I'm not using any app for doze, it's pure stock (magisk for adaway and vanced yt).

Snapdragon 625 is not meant for "high end" gaming. It's a midrange device for pretty good everyday use, multitasking, gaming on lower quality or lower framerates, but not for "hardcore" gaming.

If you have root, try to turn it on manually in config files in /data/data/game_folder
so what exactly would "high framerate mode" even do? the only thing i could imagine would be to significantly lower graphics settings in order to boost framerates...

I started try miuipro v8.2.1 it work
Then flash v8.3.1 it work too
It work on stable too 9.2.2.0

It's not about the gl tools version. In the app info of mobile legends, give the storage permission. It work's 100℅ on the newest gl tools versions also, paid or free. This took me 24 hours and 5 rom flashes and multiple reinstalls to find out. Lol..

Was update to v313, before i was on v2xx

I think you have ro flash each time you flash system partition cause thoses files arr located in system/vendor partition
To check just download aida 64 app and in display section you can check your GPU version

Did you have issues with always on display guys?
Running stock Oreo, with xlosed, magisk v16.0, some other things, works fine (Advanced Calling Video Call kept stopping, but I just disabled it and solved that XD) anyway Antutu total score went up by nearly 40k points! (GPU alone went up by just over 10k!) Impressive...

I notified lag before flashing this, but after flashing I haven't noticed anything, I'm on v20a, still don't have a flashable zip for v20b on us997
every rom i tested, has troubles with camera app, i tried several camera apps but the recording function is extremely unreliable

MIUI 10 Global 8.9.20 Le 2 + illusion 2 kernal of MrDarkness i m using this rom from 3 months no bugs at all good performance i play pubg daily continoiusly for 2:30 hrs still left with 15-20% battery but in a cool place this is my permanent rom... I got it from Le 2 telegram channel if you want it...

It's not even released yet. The Closed Beta Signup form is still live & OnePlus is yet to announce the selected Closed Beta Testers.
It said that form is open till 2 PM GMT, so it should be 7:30 PM IST.

It's known to wipe internal storage for sure... Doesn't matter which ROM/firmware you're coming from... Coming from Oxygen OS also requires a wipe... It's due to different encryption algorithm I suppose (not sure).

Im using and until now I feel that is a bit slow, but maybe is because I came from the OP6T.
For now the animations feel that are slowing down the phone, the battery for now is going fast, less than a hour of SOT and Im down to 66% ( I have a new original battery installed by OP) but lets see how it goes

Feedback on Pie beta :
- animations are laggy (stuttery at times)
- while there is an going call, swiping down the notification bar takes some effort.
- playstore has crashed on me a couple of times.
- overall usable
- battery life : nothing to write home about. but not that bad.
- UI decoration elements are nice
Game mode active warning is very anonying.It apears everytime and stays too long.
This is great pie build. Sharing screen shot of today with heavy gaming and movie. No hang no lags. Great rom.
actually it kind of stutters after the boot but it catches up after some 3-4 mins
performance not as good as oreo or any custom roms available but I guess goos enough to be a daily driver
