Magisk won't install on Asus Zenfone 5 - Magisk

Hey I am trying to install Magisk v16.0 using up-to-date version of TRWP. I flash the .zip file normally by clicking install and finding the file in my storage as if I was flashing a rom.

Sadly I get an error 1 every time, here is a screenshot above. I was trying to download multiple magisk versions from the internet, some being lower than 16.0, multiple 16.0 and 16.7, none work, always the same error. I tried moving it between SD and internal storage - same result. I even let the Magisk Manager download the 16.0 but same error always.
I have a Resurrection Remix N 5.8.5 ROM Android 7.12 on my non-rooted Asus Zenfone 5. I even tried reinstalling the ROM and wiping everything, same result.
The reason why I am installing Magisk is to bypass the Safety Net from Pokemon Go. If there is an alternative to Magisk, please tell me. Currently I am stuck at this. I don't use this phone for anything else, it is just experimental so I can reinstall whatever, i don't keep any data on it too. I would actually welcome any guide for gps spoofing on pokémon GO that would work for me.
Thanks for any help.

Magisk download didn't root my phone

Hi !
I have recently decided to root my Samsung Galaxy s7 and followed a couple of tutorials on internet. But now I have a problem. I installed via twrp magisk 12.0 and Samsung antiroot removal and... my phone isn't root at the moment. I didn't had super su installed and hadn't any permission granted... someone could help me to solve my problem ? Thank you very much ! (I run 7.0)
Did you also install the Magisk Manager? You'll find a link to download it in the release thread.
Yes I did
But when I open it says that I have the last version but nothing else
Recovery log from the installation and a Magisk log, please. The recovery log you can save after flashing, go to Advanced - Copy log. The Magisk log you can find in /cache when you're in TWRP.
Attach the two files to your post.

No... You haven't installed the Magisk Manager from the release thread. That's v5+ of the Manager and it doesn't work with Magisk v12. Uninstall and install the correct Manager.

Glase and Magisk

I want to use TAP & PAY with Glase. But every time it comes, no use because Root and customROM. I have one plus one with lineage-14.1-20180503 and magisk v 16.0. SafetyNet-Test true/true. Did somebody know whats happend?
Have you tried adding Glase to the (active) Magisk Hide list (tick it in the MH list), then hiding Magisk Manager with the appropriate function (you have to repackage it from the settings? What it will do is it will create a new APK file with a random package name but same icon, content and friendly name, install it and uninstall itself. An issue I noticed with this is that you have to repeat the procedure after every Manager (not SU binary) update, but it's not hard. Try and let me know if it worked
Edit: also remember to erase Glase cache, full-restart the device and - if needed - wipe Glase data
Anyone had any luck with this? Completely removed Glase, then proceeded to repackage Magisk, reinstalled Glase, selected it on Magisk Hide (while rebooting at every step) but it still recognizes the root :/
PS: on Oneplus 6.
This is Stock ROM on my S8+

Magisk 19 breaks OP5T camera app

Today I got around to updating my OnePlus 5T to OxygenOS 9.0.5; I think I was a couple updates behind, so probably on 9.0.3 before. I re-rooted afterward by flashing Magisk 19.2 with TWRP, and my camera app turned into a grey square with CC on it, and wouldn't open (crashed immediately).
After wrangling with it for a while, I learned:
Reflashing Magisk 18.1 fixes the camera
I saw some people had luck changing build.prop's permissions to RW-R--R--, but this didn't help in my case
I also saw someone had luck installing the ElementalX kernel, but this also didn't help in my case
I'm pretty sure I was on Magisk 19.2 before updating OxygenOS, so this must be something new in the last couple versions
Any idea what the problem could be?
I've also got a broken camera app due to magisk. No answer as to why this happens though. I'm running magisk 19.2 in Oreo 8.1 on a Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017).
Problem still exists with Magisk 19.3, FWIW.
Problem still exists with Magisk 19.4 and OxygenOS 9.0.8...
Screenshot attached. Any idea what this icon is?

Impossible to Update to v.22

Device: Tab S 10.5 and Official latest Available Rom.
Rom: Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow
Recently I decided to Fresh Install back Offical Rom on my Tab S10.5. I flash with Odin, then installed Latest available TWRP, and installed Magisk v21.4. Then my plan was to update once the tab has booted, this way I did on my S8 a week ago, and it worked fine.
Installation of the Rom > OK
TWRP > OK + Magisk v21.4 > OK
Then when I try to update the Manager from the manager itself, it download and install the new Manager as expected, then problem start! It behave like the device is no more rooted!!
here are pic of Manager before (I tried also with Magisk v.19.2.zip through TWRP, same issue) and after updating to v.22
Also the error, I am getting when I try to install new Root v.22, from the new Manager.
I tried everything from start , Odin + Rom, + Magisk, and same error. So not able to Root.

Question How can I stop the system update? Thanks for helping!

I rooted my pixel 7 and made it supports 32bit apps. But I accidentally launched the "safety auto-update" so i lost all the 32bit apps, also my magisk went wrong.
So I re-rooted and re-magisked my phone, everything seems fine. I also banned the "auto-update" in the "system" options.
But, yesterday when I recharged my phone, it showed me that the phone had already downloaded the safety update and implied me to "continue". I ignored it.
Today, it showed me that it's made the safety update is ready and just need to restart the phone. I'm afraid that is I restart the phone, I will lost the root and magisk again!
So, ANYONE COULD TELL ME HOW TO SOLVE THIS? THANKS A LOT!
I know of no other than a paid app to block everything, and grant access to selected apps and services.
NetGuard - don't use the Google Store version!
Unfortunately, you are facing a reset of the device and installing Netguard without internet access, e.g. by placing the apk on the device from a local ftp server without internet access and activating with a code obtained from a web browser on another device.
Install magisk to inactive slot
