Is the HTC one susceptible to damage from extreme vibration, specifically when the camera is on?
I know the optical image stabilization involves moving parts.
Could intense vibrations from something like a handlebar mount damage any of the components in the device?
Im also curious if magnetic fields can cause any damage. I've played with the idea of building a custom magnetic mounting case to replace velcro strips.
Hi,
Rebuilding my z3+ I notice that there are pads from several of the ribbon circuits that connect to contacts in the inner edge of the frame. I don't have pictures, but it looks as if these connect to the aluminium strips that form the outer sides of the frame. So my question is if anyone know their function. I notice that the non-original frames are missing some of the contacts.
Do the frame sides form part of the system of antennas? If so, which? GSM/Wifi/GPS?
Could there be some other function?

The problem I have is that when I touch the phone or touch my fingers on the part between the camera and the fingerprint sensor, there is a sound as if something is loose inside the device, this sound increases if you touch it several times. upper part that is above the camera. Also, however, when placing it on flat surfaces such as desks, placing it as commonly placed any device also produces this sound (As if it had something loose inside). GOOGLE TRANSALATE
My doubt is that if it is something NORMAL the problem that I have is that the mobile on touches having had or to do it with the fingers in the part between the chamber and the sensor of fingerprint, produces a sound to itself as if something was sluggish inside the device, this sound increases if touches several times the part top that this one arrives of the chamber. Also on having placed it on flat surfaces as offices, placing it since any device is placed produces also this sound (As if it had something sluggish inside). THEWORLD TRANSLATE
Is it something new or did uou have this sound since the beginning ?
Solved, it was factory error they replaced it with a new sealed one.
Hey all, I know this is a long shot but I am so confused.
I have older HU 3066 running Malaysk ROMs Android 4.4.4 ROM. Vehicle is an '09 VW Tiguan. I am trying to install a reverse camera. The camera replaces the license place light on the volkswagen. I have it wired from camera wired with power from the blue/black reverse light on the car. The video cable came with a power wire attached. It is spliced in to the power on the camera side to the reverse light. The other side runs to the back of the HU and connected to pink (reverse) wire.
When the cars power is turned on, I put the car in reverse and the camera shows image. However, when starting the car, the reverse image is black (no camera shown).
As a test, I disconnected the power wire to the pink wire on HU (same results as above).
Another option I tried was to connect to power from camera to another wire with 12v current. The camera worked when in reverse and the car running but the camera and the led lights that it uses were on the whole time and wouldnt turn off.
Any thoughts or ideas? Not sure if HU issue or a wiring issue.
Normally the power cable of the camera and the reverse-in cable of the HU need to be connected both on the reverse light cable, so it is activated only when the car is in reverse mode. It could be also a ground issue? Have you another cable which need a negative or ground point?

It is probably due to electric contamination. Add a filter or relay (you find them on amazon) to the cable that powers the camera. Car electrics are a b*tch and do not use continue current but kind of high frequency pulse which gets worse when the alternator is working, so with the engine on. This is why with the engine off it works well.

hey, thanks for the replies. Someone had posted to me a while back that it is a issue in olver VWs when tapping in to the reverse lights. It is Pulse DC or something like that.
Had the same problem on my BMW E60, had to fit a switched relay to maintain a constant 12v power supply when in reverse with the engine running
Just for the record. You cannot power a reverse camera from the reverse light on a VW or Audi . It just will not work correctly.
You can trigger the reverse detection on the HU from the reverse power wire. But you need to find power for the camera from another source.
The BCM controls the current and detects whether a bulb is blown by varying the power to the lights.
So i replaced my display after an accident and with that my speaker are not working anymore. I did not remove the top speaker but the bottom one who has two gold contacts which connect underneath the logic board to it after its placed.
If i am not mistaken both speakers are seperately connected to the logic board (top one with contacts to the frame with nfc and then to the logic board) but i did not touch the top speaker so its even more confusing. I also did not remove the mesh on the front like in some videos, so i removed the display with letting the mesh in place. Everything else (even the audio Jack) is functioning.
Maybe you can help me solve the problem or giving me tips to identify the problem here? I did not find the bottom speaker online, but the metal frame (where everything is screwed in, WITH top speaker) and the frame with nfc.
Thank you for your helping.

I am facing different situation after screen replace..my wide camera and selfie camera not working..there is no option in camera to pass to wide camera..do you connect the middle frame with screws? Its need to stick to the board..i will happy if someone can help me with my problem
Well in your case you have to check the connection of the flex cables from your cameras. I did connect the middle frame with the screws, if not NFC wouldn't work.

I'm experiencing the exact same problem
Anyone found a solution?
Edit: screen the motherboard cover on tightly, don't lose any screws! Some of the audio circuitry and camera circuitry appear to need the motherboard cover.
