Magisk Module - Navigation Bar (9.0 Pie) OnePlus 3/3T
After release of P based ROMs for OnePlus 3/T they miss out option to switch between hw buttons & On Screen Navigation bar. This module enables navigation bars with an edit in build prop. Also disables hardware buttons by commenting out key functions in keylayout and turns off backlight. Without breaking DT2W or fingerprint sensor.
This is a small module for ease of access to Navigation bar till the time being ROMs based on Android P [9.0] adds into their source.
This mod works on all ROM based on Pie [Including treble Gsi as well.].
Tested on OnePlus 3T: Pixel experience, Pgsi, Banzo Gsi.
For better usage goto Settings>>System>>Gestures>> Enable Swipe up for home button.

You sure about this part? Doesn't look like your name...
Also, the warning in the readme about disabling any other modules that "conflicts with the build.prop" seems a bit excessive... You're not actually touching the build.prop file, just changing one single prop value. Almost every single Magisk module changes different prop values... It would be a whole lot of modules to disable.

NitrogenOS for example doesn't have the "Enable swipe up" option in settings.
Can you somehow make that pop up as well?
would this work on OP3 Pixel Experience Oreo based rom ?
Can anyone provide mirror? AFH is not working.

Congrats @Beast_Slayer ??
Its a very helpful module and I'm sure will and helping many. I know how hard you had to work to make it. Congrats ??
Guys, devs work hard behind the scenes to create things or make complicated things as simple as clicking a button for us. They deserve our appreciation and support. Minimum we can do is hit THANKS for them as our token of gratitude. No?

Hi guys, i'm back bringing you this time a tutorial for enabling hidden features in V20x ROM's.The features enabled are: 3 hidden buttons in the statusbar and the "multitasking" menu, also known as QSlide Apps (?).
Remember, It only works on Stock ROM's, A.K.A. v20x.
Let's start, shall we?
0. Unlock the bootloader, root the device and install Xposed Framework. Duh.
1. After you install Xposed, open Xposed Installer and search for the module named "OptimusToolbox".
2. Install it, open the module interface and go to "StatusBarTweak"
3. Tick all dem checkboxes
4. Tap the back button and then tap on "Restart SystemUI"
5. Profit. Now swipe down the status bar and you will find 3 extra buttons and the QSlide apps thing.
Cheers.
P. S. BUG DISCOVERED: Dont tap on Calendar app or it will crash your SystemUI.
Been playing with stock for some time to search this, thanks
You welcome. Btw, i have an upcoming guide on having the most stable and lag-free (at least during my tests) Stock ROM experience.

I think it would be better just bring up a stable base (in this example LineageOS since most roms base on it) and work on other roms if this base is fully stable
Blame me for that, but from a developer perspective it makes no sense building thousands of roms with the same buggy base.
I dont want to say that @Verevka does not a good job, his work is good! But please stop cry for other roms and help the developers when they need help.

This little Module swaps the Hardware Buttons on the OnePlus 2 on LOS 15.1. Sadly this function is not implemented yet into the official LOS 15.1 so I made this little module for the time beeing.

- Magisk v15+

As Always: Use at your own Risk!!!
When I try to flash it on magisk sadly, it says its not a magisk module.
@Scherzengel You have to repackage the zip after downloading from GitHub. All module files and folders need to be in the root of the zip. GitHub places them in a folder...
My bad. It seems that I uploaded the wrong Zip-file. Sry for the inconvenience. Will reupload in a moment.

Yes, everything is working. Thank you so much.
Long shot question, would you mind adding an option to completely disable home button? Mine is broken (it is constantly being pressed) and in most ROMs you cant completely disable it (Linage, crDroid, Resurrection Remix). Even if you can unmap it, it still activates the vibrator. Mighty annoying and consumes battery. Would be nice, but I understand if you tell me to fork off. Thanks for reply

What I did was, launch google play store app through google assistant, then type in fluid navigation gestures and install. Then turn on navigation within the app. Or simply go to magisk app and uninstall under modules, reboot, and once you have the fluid navigation gestures set up try again. It shouldn't break anything else. Fingerprint works and same for safetynet. I am on stock rom and kernel with magisk.

Thank You very much for the Reply!
The Fluid Navigation workaround is needed since any ROM breaks since Pie when i add content to the System. Especially when i add Folders to priv-app. Same happens with the Systemless way i use right now. I think it has something to do with the Permission handling of Pie Systems but i found nothing in the Web yet...
I'm really looking forward to push the App within the Patch, with the Option to keep the default Navigation Bar while installing (Volume Key Selector Method). For now do we have to do it like You said. The easiest way will be to setup Fluid Navigation Gestures before installing the Module. Only Important will be that You don't use the Navbar Hide from within the App (Causes missing space on the bottom of the Display). I also talked to the App Creator to make the Setup more easy, think it will just be a matter of time till we can use it without additional (user) efforts...
There is a lot to come with the next Versions. Hope You will like it

I wouldn't call it "Mod", but no. You can use the default Navigation bar by changing qemu.hw.mainkeys=1 to qemu.hw.mainkeys=0 on the System Prop from the Patch, or You can wait for the Update which contains Options for that. I'm currently working on AROMA to include also Busybox and Magisk to deliver the full ROM/Patch Package. AROMA will also allow Me to give Users more choices about what will be flashed. It's everything just in a early phase.

It's made for Android close to AOSP Pie. Miui could cause conflicts with the given Configs (Audio, Camera or even Bootloops). Snapdragon 835 should be the minimum based on the given Quality Settings. Older SoCs may face missing Audio, lags or other Problems. That how i keep it since the Nexus 6. Every new SoC and Android Version needs new Configs which may not work on older Ones. Hope that explains it better

lol wuuut I was just searching for an alternative to the great Instagram Rocket on iOS. Sadly doesn't seem to exist I really hate the original one.
This module adds back Icon Shapes on Android 12 and 13 via a command line utility. You'll need a terminal app like Termux to use this module. (This update fixes some broken overlays such as the Tapered Rectangle)
NOTICE: V3 has some broken overlays. (Working on a fix)
Instructions:
1: Flash the module
2: Open Termux (or whatever Terminal app you use) and use the su command.
3: Use the cmd overlay list command.
4: Find the overlay you want to enable. (The overlays you are looking for all start with com.android.theme.icon)
5: Use the cmd overlay enable command with the overlay you want: Example: cmd overlay enable com.android.theme.icon.teardrop
You'll need to disable the overlay you picked before you enable another icon shape. Instructions to do that are below.
To disable an overlay:
1: Use the cmd overlay disable command with the overlay you picked. Example: cmd overlay disable com.android.theme.icon.teardrop (Once you issue this command, your icons will be a circle again and then you'll be able to safely pick another icon shape)

That's awesome, thank you! Would it be possible to have Squares?
I do know it has Rounded Rectangles, but I'm feeling a bit edgy lately ;D so would be nice to have full on Squares
I searched the Net for IconShapeSquare Overlays that I could put into your Magisk Module, but didn't find any relevant results.
This also helped me find other "hidden" installed overlays that I could enable.

Thank you! Do the overlays reset after a Reboot for you too? Is it possible to keep them applied, after a Reboot? It changes back to Circular.
I've experimented with overlays, and stole 2-Button Gesture and Square Icons from LineageOS ROM and put it in your Magisk Module, and then applied the Magisk Module on my ArrowOS, I was able to select 2-Button Gestures from the Settings-GUI, which is pretty cool, and persists after Reboot, but Icon-Shapes I have to apply in Termux, and they don't persist after Reboot.
Simple and effective, good work!
(Tested on Zenfone 8 stock A13, so not an AOSP rom)
