the battery cover does not include the NFC sensor, you will need to add one to it, to use the function.

I kind of like the android ones...pretty damn cool

at the 14th pic.. these are the limited ones, but is that a case or the battery backdoor itself?

it's a battery cover, not a case.

back from china.
my supplier says the white cases, are not available yet in china, and will contact me when they arrive, I have ordered 35 pieces, also I did notice today that china in shenzhen, they just got delivery of over 100 black nexus s, all the shops were testing the units before they start to sell them, they were all wrapped in bubble wrap, and all are to be sold without boxes, the shipment was from europe or the us, without the boxes, they skip paying tax, that what i've been told.

So where to buy the cover 'cause at the ebay thing at the other post is postet that the list is ended so i cannot buy it i think, I'm right?

since a few minutes ago, i had one, if i dont get a reply in 2 days time, I can sell it to you.
where i got it from china, i got the last 2, i havent seen anymore yet, they have the normal one at a slightly cheaper price.

If you can sell me one by any chance, please let me know. I know I am late so don't expect it but I'm eager in trying one out and reviewing it.

Stock OEM battery door

I''ve been looking for a replacement for the basic battery door and everything I've seen on eBay is like $30 for the OEM version, and I couldn't find any through Samsung directly.
Would love to hear any tips if people have found a source for plain old doors.

If you call Samsung they will sell you one. I called and ordered one for my S2 directly from them.

Ive seen some on ebay for 10 that claim to be oem. Can anyone give me a price range I can expect to pay for a real white back cover? I have the international version if that matters(i would prefer a cover without a carrier logo)

It looks like there is no NFC antenna on that one.

Bubbles under the touchscreen

Today, I saw this under the touchscreen. It looks like some dust or air bubbles, which are under the touch area, situated directly above the Tegra 3 CPU so can it have something to do with the heat, which come from the cpu? The phone is 1 month old (bought 21/3/2013). I'm sending the phone to reclamation (and want new piece), but I'm afraid that this can happen again.
Have anyone same problem?

i can't open your images though. my bubble are located in the centre of the screen.. tell me if you do manage to get your phone exchanged. :cyclops:

Corroded screen,

I had the same thing on a smaller scale, but it turned out it was just a bit of dirt that formed there...Took the phone apart and cleaned the glass. Everything is fine now!

What about the warranty?

I found also topic about this problem on german LG forum, the topic have about 85 pages!!

i have the same issue, but only one bubble, and it was there the day i bought it. i was too lazy to wait for a replacer, so i just stuck with mine, since it's only visible if you're really looking for it.

I don't think they would have noticed if I had been a bit more careful. They use Philips head screws and no "VOID" stickers.
I actually kinda scratched the glass on the inside

ouch. is it very visible?

Wow thats sucks guys, if any has or is gonna send it in with an unlocked bootloader i wonder if they will fix it. If any of these manufacturers would honor their warranties for non-software related issues with unlocked bootloaders id stick with them regardless.

I have the same problem, I am do not have official support from LG in my country
Someone has a tutorial in order to clean/remove this bubbles?

Had these bubbles under my screen too. Got mine repaired, at a lg approved shop here in norway. My bootloader was already unlocked before i sent it in. It came back pre-rooted, and they changed the lcd if anyone wonders

no new gear yet. they only showed a sneak preview on upcoming features for the gear. most has to do with svoice like controlling samsung smart tv, etc
guess we have to wait till end of year for gear 2 or glass to arrive

I dont see the need for a Gear 2. A software update could fix most if not all of the current gears downfalls. The hardware is spot on.

they just need to add native GPS (prio A1+) and maybe WIFI. But other than that stuff, i fully aggree (not that i wouldnt buy the gear 2 instantly hahaha)

They have to do something better with the battery life as well as charging the thing. They couldn't put a port in the watch itself to charge it?

Saw this today but I thought it wasn't as feature rich as our gear so I didn't play around with it as much. And I just grabbed the brochure. After reading it when I got back to the hotel, it's actually a pretty Damn good alternative to the gear. And it's water resistant. When I played with it I saw it had an option to reply to text and a keyboard came up. But I was in a rush. I will probably go back tomorrow and take some pictures and video. Also check out the pricing.

Anyone else backordered already?

I went to a TMO store on Saturday the sixth and placed my order for Blue Note 7. I haven't received any notices or tests from TMO and my online account stating that the shipping date is changed to the 18-19th. I called the service number and asked about the status of my order. Sadly I was told that I am backordered. Frustration doesn't describe my feelings.
I've purchase many phones from my local store so I went in today and told them about my conversation with service. There was no sympathy at all, just a cursory, "Yeah, lots of people are going to be backordered."
Has anyone else had this experience? If so, just state your order date and color. I am really disappointed. I suspect they just stopped fulfilling orders to have enough inventory for the stores. I am really ticked.

They won't have any blue one in stores for at least a month just an FYI. I went to the store with my friend today because he wanted to get on the list and they told them his only options were black or silver or they could order him a blue one to be delivered as soon as they weren't on backorder anymore.

If they backordered me I would cancel the whole thing. The whole point of pre ordering is to get before or as soon as it comes out. I pre ordered mine Thursday. They said when my card is charged that means it has been shipped. My card was charged today. If I don't get this phone by Friday I will cancel the whole thing and stay with AT&T. Now if they would have told me that it will be after Fri I would have went somewhere else.

Yea it seems like everyone wanted the blue version. When I ordered mines on the website, it pushed the date back depending on the color you selected for the pre-order. So yea, Im sure thats why it went straight to back ordered.

Yeah mine changes to shipped once it updated.

Even though I was told I was backordered I received the shipping notice late yesterday and my Blue Coral is going to be delivered today. The point is that the rep I initially spoke with was wrong and the amount of notice on shipping can be very short.

Oh cool. Yeah, that backorder notice would throw anyone off. I Ordered yesterday and should be receiving today. I didn't get the Coral, though.
