Hi Guys,
Good Day to You,
Just wondering, have anyone of u installed Fortnite and cant seems to adjust the graphic to Epic at the graphic option?
Using note 9 Exynos 9810 version btw. Thanks
I'm in the same boat. Running the note 9 128gb exynos version.
Is this a exynos chip problem? If it is I'm going to send the phone back.

Is the official cover still using the same cheap plastic or have they improved it?
it *IS* plastic, but I would not call it cheap.
neither price-wise, nor quality.

Octacore Exynos. Very smooth and fast. Not sure about the impressions, as quite different philosophy after my present Nexus 4.
Need more time to adjust. Or to hate.

Any word on the battery life yet?
If you have the time, could you please run it down from 100 to 0 on a single charge and post the screen on time?
That would be really awesome.
I don't mind the performance gap between the Exynos and the Snapdragon, but if the Exynos provides significantly better battery life, I might import one of these models.

here are the shots you asked.
i have not used the device much, it was mostly sitting next to me. strangest thing it went overnight down from 54% to 25%, i have a feeling that'a a *lot* for a standby.
will charge now and see again.
@hempy
sort of.
i was not looking for accessories, just the cover. and these were there, 5 or 6 colours if i remember correctly. white, dark grey, pink, bronze and cherry. so 5.

Waiting for my Note4 update to Lollipop now...
Really? Thought Samsung almost forgotten the poor Note 4 Exynos despite the processor was made by them own.
So, im using a note 5 with khongloi ROM (Galaxy S8 ROM). All applications seem to think my phone is a galaxy s8, i like that but will the games think im using an S8 and use higher graphics then my note 5?

It didn't work on my phone at first. I had to reboot the phone then it worked fine.

This works so much better than the stock HDR feature - it's actually one of the main reasons why I insisted on a Snapdragon model.
Does anyone know the video recording limit on this camera app ?

There should be a download link on the post, it's right above the interview with the developer. Yes, I have them both installed on my home screen and they both work fine. Just install it like a regular apk.
Seems Note 8‘s camera works as well as google camera?
Is there somewhere that explains the differences in the various algorithms? I searched around but found only bits and pieces.
Also, it would be nice if someone could post which settings actually work for the Note 8. I tried a few and some wouldn't save and others
(I'm not a big camera buff and really don't use my phone's camera that much, otherwise I would.)
I'm seeing people state that the Google Camera is a bit better than the Stock Samsung one, but my experience is the opposite. Google Camera is giving me bad low light performance. I even used setting from the forums and was still subpar. What settings are you guys using?
I couldn't get this to work on my AT&T Note8 un-rooted.

Unlocked non-rooted on Verizon and installs fine. Samsung Camera is far superior including with HDR so I'll un-install now...
Any news on making this work on Note 8 Exynos variant?

Not correct. Works on Exynos too but if you try to make any changes to settings it'll crash. Only way to revive is by clearing storage from settings!
However I didn't find it significantly better than stock camera and night time/poor lit/dark conditions photos are definitely better with stock camera.
Hey guys. Anyone have any updates on how close we are to getting root access yet? Will happily donate to who ever is doing it for there hard work ?

You cannot root the snapdragon variant phones. Sorry, I take that back. You can root them but it breaks Knox, Samsung Pay, and a bunch of other stuff. It trips some sort of fuse.

Isn't that the same as exynos? None of that works and knox is tripped when rooted in exynos too.

Buy the Razer Phone 2. Right now it's cheaper than any of its competition and it has root. The Galaxy S10 is a pretty good phone now that I've had an opportunity to use it for games that won't run on rooted and unlocked devices (like Fate/GO)
Someone already got TWRP to boot on Exynos S10, this phone is too popular to not get root(Exynos bootloader unlocked models). It is a matter of time, I'd say within next few weeks one of the smart devs here will have root and within a month or two Magisk support as well.

The dev behind Magisk got an S10 already so I'd guess it shouldn't be long for Magisk to support the phones. And if TWRP is already sort of available I'd imagine we'll have root im worse case scenario at the end of April.
