I'm very new to Tasker, I was wondering if there is a way to Enable/Disable screen always on setting on Samsung Galaxy S8 if charging/not charging?

That was quick! Thanks brother
Did this work for the G6?
Just noticed when I try to use effects like Vignette, stardust etc in the gallery app that there is no adjustment bar for the effects intensity. I'm sure in previous models they were present.
Just wondering , did I overlook something?

I can find this option but has no effect on app like YouTube.
Can you do this ? Is it the ROM issue?

Dude this isn't rom related, latest youtube doesn't work in fullscreen on my device, i mean the zoom function. I'm using vanced youtube version 13.10.55 and the zoom function works

I'm also using Vanced and it works.

thanks for your advice
so it is all about the app developer whether they have handled the 18:9 app scaling?
is it something system-related and force the app scaling for all app??

Ξ€here is a setting with which an app will use fullscreen, I can't tell you exactly where it is cause my Mi 8 is bricked, but take my word cause i have used it.
I thought the note 8 unlocked had an inbuilt call recording function, does the note 9 have it?

Yes.
Just use acr call recorder.
Sent from my SM-N960F using Tapatalk
Does it work for sure? The acr recorder? I have an unlocked dual sim exynos and I can not find an inbuilt call recorder anywhere...

I've been using acr since note 4 works perfectly.

Can you please confirm that the NOTE 9 UNROOTED will work with ACR Call recorder?

ANDROID 9 is the issue. Once you upgrade, call recording of any sort WILL NOT WORK

Hi there.
I have a SM-N960F (Dual SIM - running Android 8.1.0 / SE 9.5 - Baseband: N960FXXU2ARH7 - Kernel: 4.9.59-14091311-QB19533257 - Build: M1AJQ.N960FXXS2ARH6 - Security patch: 1 September 2018 ) bought in Europe (not locked to any supplier - just the normal retail model) and the builtin Call Recorder option does not exist (it's disabled , does not show up).
So, as "hackdrag0n" said, it is a region type feature (being active or not).
I have a person I know in Malaysia (with the same Exynos model) and the Call Record feature is active.
I had to install a third party app to achieve the mentioned functionality.
Regards,
The first time I messed in the phone app my snap asked me if I wanted to urn on call recording. I said yes. And that's it. Window closed. No settings or options displayed. I don't really want to use a call recording app if it is built in. But nothing 8n options, settings or storage indicating call recording. Call recording comes in handy dealing with corporations, management and ESPECIALLY insurance claims. Unlocked snap here.
Works really well for me on the Indian Exynos variant.
Hey i have the Note 9 with the latest from Verizon ARH6 and the September 1st Security Update. I CAN confirm that call recording using ACR (automatic call recorder) DOES work. This was an issue on the actual Samsung Forums but ACR for sure WORKS. Now as for the built in call recorder like mentioned before it's a region thing.
And you are running android 9??

best part, i'm from malaysia with malaysia note 9 and call recording is not there, so i use ACR ...
Guys... use an activity launcher... lol. I used Activity Launcher by Adam Szalkowski from play store and opened the 1st phone list and then call recording. And from there turned it on. It's on your phones. They just removed the link but not the settings activity. ;p
Your right....I have enabled it for all calls but it doesnt seem to do anything. Is there anything else you have to enable?

Maybe it has something to do with voice privacy? I just got my hands on a verizon note 9 right before my post. And I WILL find a way to call record...
The hand icon doesn't appear on websites while browsing and doesn't trigger drop down menu !! It works fine on my Note 8 running Pie but not Note 9
If anyone can let me know if it works with them before i factory reset it would be highly appreciated
Update:
Here is a video showing what I mean. Kindly note that all this happen without touching the screen only hovering the S-Pen. This doesn't happen on my Note 9! All I can do is scroll while hovering and no buttons will be triggered.

Can I have a screenshot on your Note8 to better understand what you want to achieve?

Although the video is unavailable, I now understand that you've a problem with S-Pen.
Is Air View turned on in S-Pen settings?
