Like these kind of threads, As my battery life for my exynos is so average at best lets see what your numbers state in the download mode, please. I Have 2 note 9's so I'll see if they really do differ according to their numbers, doubt it in my case, almost identical numbers unfortunately.
USB cable has to be connected into PC or laptop, hold down bixby button and volume down only to get into download mode

I found the one with the lower bin numbers slightly better in battery life. Maybe too similar in numbers to be noticeably different? Who knows. Found nothing conclusive

Cant say anything about battery life...Phone seems to get less hot than my Note 8 (CL0 8 CL1 6 G3D 4). Though is it because of the higher bin or the thicker heatpipe i cant say for sure
Sorry, but how we can see that? only enter on download mode? i cannot see nothing there, can anyone help, thanks regards.

Understood, thanks anyway!
It was never actually proven that the bin numbers translates to a better SOC, in the s8/s9 threads it was mixed - some got high bin and good/bad scores, some got low bin and good/bad scores + heat perception. The only way to test that is totally scientifically with synthetic testing and that is still not done (most likely never will).

Wow, that's a huge win for the 512, if true. Is that not a real-world performance type of difference, in your estimation? I'm really struggling with the decision of 128 vs. 512. I have a 256GB SD card and don't even have 50GB used up on my Note8 internal... So I'm thinking I should stick with the 128 and save the $250. Unless there's actually a performance difference, but I'm not sure 8GB can do much at this stage. I don't know!

In theory then the Snap 128 should beat the snap Exynos then? One thing I've learned in the past couple of years is benchmarks are essentially for bragging rights, there is no real world impact on an Antutu score from 250 to 300k. Not unless you are measuring apps opening in milliseconds and want to claim because your phone opened said app .00001 ms faster you win. I've never had any type of problems in real world use of the Note 8. I suspect it stays the same with the 9.

Will those two options ever be available for the 5G?

I read ufs 3.0 so I called Samsung to confirm, spent an hour on the phone with three different departments and never received a definitive answer.
Definitely not UFS 3.0. the only advantages are the bigger screen (not for me), bigger battery (but still as yet unproven battery life), and the ToF sensor which is useful for girls that like to post artsy videos on their Instagram page. That last one I don't think is an advantage as I've seen the mate 20 Pro do some awesome portrait video like gimmicks as well without that sensor. Samsung just hamstringing the other S10 models I think.
I just repurchased the S10+ 1tb version (long story) and think I've decided to wait for the Note 10.

I've read lots of articles saying beginning of 2020 for the new modem. One article said end of 2019, but August isn't the end of 2019. UFS 3.0 has to be guaranteed in the Note 10, otherwise Samsung is dropping the ball.

Agree with that. UFS 3.0 better be in there or I may have to hold out for S11? I wish I knew if Note 10 had UFS 3.0 and what modems. If it doesn't have UFS 3.0 and still using old modem I should buy an S10 5G now then for the bigger display, bigger battery and more cameras but wish I knew what Note 10 would entail

honestly, you should spend a bit more on a redmi note 11
it offers a better camera (50mp, but it has a bigger sensor which = more detail and more widely light capturing avail, great for her id say), a powerful cpu (Snapdragon 680, it also uses a different processing than the mediatek of the redmi note 10 5g) and a better display (amoled, 120hz), for id say 15-30 more?
ur choice, but the redmi note 11 is great for the 10 5g budget

honestly, you should spend a bit more on a redmi note 11
it offers a better camera (50mp, but it has a bigger sensor which = more detail and more widely light capturing avail, great for her id say), a powerful cpu (Snapdragon 680, it also uses a different processing than the mediatek of the redmi note 10 5g) and a better display (amoled, 120hz), for id say 15-30 more?
ur choice, but the redmi note 11 is great for the 10 5g budget

Yeah! I have note 10 5G for about 1yr
Display Brightness is only 400nits so
display is too dark in sunlight , 18W is not enough for 5000mah battery and OB48B is not good as N11 4G's Samsung sensor, display is too bad at colour production, go dimensity 700 for 5G only otherwise sd680 is better at overall! spend a few dollars for N11 4g or note 12 5g
*I also have dimemsity 1000+
and I believe mtk chips are on-paper tigers!
