For those of you who lose your S-pen and get a new one, or you get the snazzy yellow colored S-pen for your purple Note 9, you'll want to pair the new pen to your device. Here are the steps to pair a new bluetooth S-pen to your Samsung Galaxy Note 9.
1. Open Settings-> Advanced Features-> S-pen-> S-pen Remote: select the settings for this "app" (three dots in upper right corner, and choose "reset S-pen". If not already done, insert the new S-pen into your hidey hole!
2. Wait a minute or two.
3. S-pen should now be paired.

And no, you can't have two S-pens paired to the same device.

I was looking at a friends Palm 750w and on the today screen it has a box that you can start typing names or numbers in and as you type it works like the contacts works (reducing the list of contacts down). The only difference is it's on the Today screen which is nice. Does anyone have a plugin for this? Thanks for the help.
PocketBreese 5.4 from sbsh.net allows you to add a tab with contacts on your today screen. There are 8 abc buttons at the bottom of the tab, and when you press a series of blocks it reduces the list to the people with that sequence of letters (sort of like on the HTC Dialer with the on screen number pad). You can try it for free for 14 days, check it out. It Doesn't work with the built in keyboard though.

I tried out a Galaxy Note in a shop the other day and couldn't figure out how to select then copy/cut & paste text using the stylus. This was in the stock browser in web forms (in a CMS).
I tried long touches on the screen with the stylus with and without clicking the button on the stylus, but neither seemed to do anything.
How does it work? (assuming select, cut/copy and paste is actually possible with the stylus)
Works like finger long hold on a word then a menu pops up (cut,copy,paste,clipboard)

Cut and paste
Is there any way to take a screen capture of a selected protion of the screen using the s-pen? I find it a hassle to do a full screen capture then crop. Thanks in advance
Is it possible to have S view feature & S view cover for our note one like one on Note III?
As I understand it require a magnetic sensor in cell phone. So, note 1 have a magnetic sensor.
Any opinion?

Apparently this is quite normal with the black and white screen Pebbles.
I have a Steel and it has the same yellowing towards the bottom of the screen.
I googled this when the watch arrived and it doesn't appear to be covered under warranty.
To Be honest, you get used to it pretty quick.
they look like unsupported symbols or emoticons ask the sender what did they send including emoticons etc

I would simply like to add the flashlight on the bottom left of the screen like it's on iphone (I come from iphone to android)
By default on ROG 3 it shows the camera on the bottom right, I simply would like to add the flashlight on bottom left.
