My PC was previously on dual boot with Microsoft Windows 7 (x86) and Linux Fedora 17 (x64). I installed Windows 8 (x86) on the Windows 7 partition by formatting it. I'm not able to install the GRUB 2 bootloader from the Fedora LIVE session (I think Windows 8 secure boot is blocking it).
I'm thinking of going back to Windows 7. Does anybody have a better option?

Which operation system do you want to run the VM on?
Currently as I know, if you are using windows operation system, you can use VMWare Workstation or Oracle VirtualBox.
If you are using mac OS, you can use Parallels Desktop.
Are you asking about Win8 or WP8? Because this is a Windows Phone forum...
Aside from the "emulator" included with the SDK - which is actually a Hyper-V-based x86 virtual machine - you can't run WP8 in a VM to the best of my knowledge. The emulator works pretty well for the limited number of things it does, though.
Does anyone of you know what is the fastest way to root Note 5 on mac? I have read that Jodin and Heimdall could be a solution but it requires pit file? Have anyone of you rooted using a virtual machine? How about samsung drivers, can we install it on virtual machine too?
Hi guys,
as you know, Teclast firmware manage dual boot option, so it is not like Grub on desktop a PC with Win10 and Debian.
I want to fresh install Windows 10 and I think this procedure will works:
1) Install Android (Mirek190 version) with repartitioning (in this way we can obtain unused space)
2) Install Windows 10 in the unused space with a USB pendrive (rufus?).
What do you think?Does it work?
We know that original teclast partitions are so many and not really easy to understand..
Hi!!
As under the title I have this Samsung Galaxy tab S2 SM-T715 tab.
My question is:
1) Can I Insert Operating System Windows 10 64 Bit?
2) Possibility to Insert Ubuntu 64 Bit Operating System?
3) Possibility to Insert Operating System Kali Linux 64 Bit?
Are these three operating systems compatible with my samsung galaxy tab s2 SM-T715?
If there are any solutions, how do I install these OSs on my tablet?
Thank you for answering.
Nope.

Besides the fact that even if the processor WAS compatible, the tablet wasn't made with the ability to do that
1) That runs on x86, the tablet uses ARM. In short, incompatible.
2) Incompatible, it runs x86.
3) Incompatible, it runs x86
Ubuntu Touch was made to be able to be installed on Android phones and tablets. If you want to install Ubuntu Touch, you need to have a supported device, AND an unlocked bootloader. Ubuntu Touch was abandoned long ago, so there's no more support, especially for this device.

In short, PC operating systems were not made to run on a non-PC tablet. If you want to do that, you can get an actual PC tablet, like Surface Pro. This tablet was made for ARM / Android, and no other.
... Aww, it's too bad. The situation seems so grim... Wait!! Is there actually a clever way to do it?! I saved the best for last! There are a few interesting methods out there which may actually get you a full Linux Desktop environent ON your phone. Read this article. P.S. Kali and Ubuntu are included
