A surprise, to be sure, but a welcome one.
The OP lists android_device_xiaomi_mata as the source, which is incorrect
Think your device source link is a little messed up there bud
EDIT: This is probably the actual link. https://github.com/TeamHorizon/android_device_essential_mata
yup, thanks for noticing.
This is the first ROM available for the Essential PH-1 that doesn't have Google Apps baked in. Thank you so much! So far so good!
So what Essential Extras does this ROM include, so features just for Essential and not your generic XenonHD?
I do have one bit of feedback for starters - the touchscreen doesn't seem to be nearly as responsive as it should be. It takes a lot of finger moving to scroll any amount at all. Any ideas?
EDIT: Nevermind. In other news, today I discovered the "smoothness" setting. Oops.
Nice... I ran this on a few older android devices I've had... I'll give this a try... Good to see more roms on this device!

I'm sure like in every other aftermarket rom. Probably not with screen off since it has been a very well known bug.

boot.img is only for root.
如果你不root是不用boot的,刷完重启就可以了。
180914-Official-mata breaks touchscreen
So I attempted to upgrade from 180902-Experimental-mata to the 0914 Official build and while it installed fine, my touchscreen doesn't work when I restart. Any ideas? Also would it be possible to get the new official TWRP integrated into the recovery partition that comes with this build for the PH-1? That would be amazing.

I have left in the first post a screen about it, no need to put more than that, since LineageOS is the same as CyanogenMod, nothing in its interface has changed.
Gr8 job
great
That was crazy fast. I was getting bummed out because I was just getting ready to install CM for the first time on two different devices that are no longer supported by Google, but stopped short because I didn't want to install something that was going to be instantly unsupported. This is great news.
Can I install the ZIP over the last cm release? 2016-25-12?
Thank you.
Good Job!!!
When dirty flash it from last CM, I also need re-flash gapps?

Yes you can
To be honest, so far its the same as 25 / 12 cm build with a string changed from CYANOGEN to LINEAGE. lol
You may want to update this rom from a last cm14.1, can run very well, however, from cm13 will be better and advisable a clean installation.
What is the importance of using this rom instead of last CM14.1?
Because of updates to the sources and the fact of corrections too, as you can see in github/lineageos, la has the corrections made and continuous updates.

The password thing it's a bug related to newer versions of Google security patch. Flash latest version of TWRP over ADB and it should work.

Unless specifically stated, I would assume it is similar to other AOSP base ROMs. Same motomod functionality, same bugs, etc. See contributors. Same builder as AOSiP is in there. Usually if he fixed something here, he'd fix it in AOSiP as well and vice versa.
Well we all know what happens when we assume things so I ask, never hurt to ask and get confirmation.

Is this going to be happening? Just curious, haven't seen anything since the initial post.
