I am new here and because this is not allowed to post my questions directly in the thread of the customer rom. I installed Criskelo ROM V75 on my Galaxy S I9000 and after some problems, now it’s work very well. Thank you for this great rom. After this I flash the theme Erebos, and I liked it very much, all works well.

My questions are:
Can I already use the rom updater or the new theme Erebos will make problems?
Before I flash the customer rom I had recovery 2e (flashed with Odin) and now is 3e again…but I want make a backup and need recovery 2e again. Which Kernel I can use? Is possible to give me a direct link? I already read that I need a SeepMod…but which? How I flash I know, I only need know which

About my second question I found a solution alone. Is a little bit strange and I don´t understand really why it works, but ok it works. If I start the recovery mod over the 3 keys, I have recovery e3 and the same happens if I start a backup directly over ClockworkMod. A Backup is not possible, ever chancel with a error. But if I start the recovery mod over the Rom (push Power key and choose Recovery) the mobile phone start with the ClockworkMod Recovery Mod and I can make the backup and all the other things.
Maybe somebody can answer my first question.

Te comento. Soy nuevo en el mundo de android y aunque tengo un viejo Galaxy S i9000 que me han regalado, me ha entusiasmado la idea de mejorar la rom que tienes. Un conocido que tengo me ha hablado de tu trabajo y me parece genial, y eso que todavia no entiendo mucho de esto.
El tema es que intento descargar desde este link y no me deja desde España ¿Me puedes aportar alguna solución?

Hi, first of thanks to this community, it was a big help for mi whit my old Lg P500, now i got an Razr i, and trying to swap the internal and external sdcards like this mod, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2022727 , but i cant get it, i us this method, the Moto Tool, enable the init.d by terminal and zip, but only thing i can get its the dpi change deforming the screen, and/or a lot of things stop working, like main screen, adjustements and more.
Searching for help in the forum i find this, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2046178 , my questions are:
1.- Im from Mexico, it is safe to flash any of the boot.img in the last post?
2.- Its there another way to get swap sdcards, or something to use my 32gb sd to instal apps?
My equip is the Razr i stock rom, rooted, unlocked bootloader, thnaks.

Que tal Gzki, le cuento que yo tengo un Moto Razr I con Rom Retail de Brazil ,Rooteado y con el bootloader desbloqueado, he intentado todos los metodos propuestos por Rickwyatt y con la App directory bind y desafortunadamente nada ha servido, si quiere intentarlo le aconsejo hacer un backup con el CWR, el flashear el Boot.img siempre me causa cierre de las apps del sistema y un cambio en el DPI de la ROM, yo me he resignado a esperar un poco si encuentra algo que le funcione me cuenta :good:

Gzki, I have a Moto Razr I with Brazil Retail Rom, Rooted and unlocked bootloader, I tried all the methods proposed by Rickwyatt and App directory bind and unfortunately nothing has helped, if you want to try advise make a backup with CWR, flash the boot.img always close apps system and a change the DPI of the ROM, I have resigned myself to wait a bit if you find something that works tell me please! : good:

Well, we only have to wait, im tired from trying, it took me all Sunday and for nothing, the anoying is that i only root and unlock bootloader for this. Tomorrow will search for other options, if i find something i will tell you.

Hello guys, first of all thanks to anybody who reads this. I really appreciate the time and efforts people puts helping others. For this thanks!
Well my problem is simple: I really want to root my device, I have a new Samsung i9070 (S Advance). But when I looked around for this, I saw things were not going to be that easy.
First of all I bought my device in Uruguay (from Ancel).
Second, the firmware that it has now is: I9070UBLG2
Third Im not sure if is stock or not, but I can say that when it turns on the original Samsung animation was changed by an ugly one from my local carrier. Dont know if that means is a non stock firmware or not.
I saw some tutorials to root this device, but they are for some specific firmwares. One of these tutorials said if I didn't have one of the supported firmwares, I needed to flash to one of them...but which!
Also I saw this thing of the binary / flash counter. I would not like to mess with that thing either, and Im not sure which rooting technique does avoid increasing that bloody counter.
I know is too much, that this is a new device and not an important one (like SIII) so probably tutorials are not massive.
I dont pretend any of you guys to answer me and teach me, I know I have some stuff I need to learn; only thing I would ask is some links, or a plcae to start and to trust!

Mira lo que yo se es que, según tengo entendido en Gingerbread (2.3) no puedes rootear sin aumentar el contador binario pero en Jelly Bean si se puede (4.1) lo que pasa es que si cambias de firmware posiblemente si lo puedas rootear en una mejor version pero hay riesgos para pasarse a Jelly Bean como por ejemplo no se sabe si tu operadora tiene el BootLoader bloqueado. En ese caso tendrias el telefono inservible y si logras hacerlo Shaaan tiene un post aqui en xda en el que viene como rootear en Jelly Bean sin aumentar el contador binario, si quieres el link al post si no lo encuentras te lo paso por MP con lo poco que se aqui ando para ayudar >.<

1. Go to his thread "Rooting your Galaxy S Advance without increasing the Binary Counter"
2. Post a REQUEST there that you want to Root and also provide this link too http://www.sammobile.com/firmware/?page=8&view=9038
3. He will download your firmware and root it... all you have to do is Download and Flash it using Odin I guess..
4. But the problem is he is concentrating more on CyanogenMOD and not this so he might not do this as soon as possible

2-I installed the 6.4.6 recovery of DooMLoRD
3-We install the SuperUser in Zip format. And it works well.
But I do not like the phone to vibrate so often with DooMLoRD, I just reinstalled the original kernel.
I notice that the LED flashing CWM is sufficient, should remove extra vibration. It's a suggestion.
The process works.
PS For KINGVORTEX: I do not understand why so abruptly answer to the people, this is a place to learn and a little warmth would do no harm.

Pero como no me gusta que el teléfono vibre tantas veces con el DoomLord, he vuelto a instalar solo el Kernel original.
Creo que el aviso de CWM con el parpadeo LED es suficiente, deberían eliminar la vibración extra. Es una sugerencia.
El proceso funciona.
PD: Para KingVortex: no entiendo porqué contestas de forma tan brusca a la gente, este es un lugar para aprender y un poco de cordialidad no vendría nada mal.

On the subject of the post, make root bat, my opinion is that developers have forgotten to try this version, because they are focused on the next KitKat.

I rooted 4.2.2 with no problem .
but on 4.3 I find it confusing me ,because all tutorials are in flashback !
which makes random steps (not arranged from A to Z ).

I still DooMLoRD method, it is like you exhibit, but not exactly the same.
Central European firmware I use standard and manufactured by DooMLoRD kernel.
I'll try to find the link to contribute it.

The end result is very good.
Only I do not like the phone vibrates twice in the boot process. I think with the violet LED indication enough, the vibration should be eliminated.
Therefore, after the process, I return to install the original KERNEL. So I remove the annoying vibration.
The root and superuser are preserved.

Yo sigo el método de DoomLord, es parecido al que expones, pero no exactamente igual.
Utilizo firmware europeo central standard y el kernel fabricado por DoomLord.
Voy a tratar de buscar el link, para aportarlo.
El resultado final es muy bueno.
Unicamente no me gusta que el teléfono vibre dos veces en el proceso de arranque. Creo que con la indicación del LED violeta es suficiente, debería eliminarse la vibración.
Por eso, después del proceso, yo vuelvo a instalar el KERNEL original. Así elimino la molesta vibración.
El root y superuser, se conservan.

If,. that is true, it is an advanced KERNEL DooMLoRD method you exhibit. (DooMLoRD Kernel version 21)
I like more than the other, only modified base CWM kernel, because I see it easier for users who have a standard level of art.
I do not use the dual recovery, so I prefer it.
Ah, one thing I would insist Extra annoying vibration.
Regarding Kernel 21, DooMLoRD logo is very successful. He is attractive and original.

A mí me gusta más el otro, solo kernel base modificado con CWM, porque lo veo más sencillo para usuarios que tenemos un nivel standard de técnica.
Yo no uso el dual recovery, por eso lo prefiero.
Ah, una cosa: me gustaría insistir en la molesta vibración extra.
Respecto al Kernel 21, el logo de DoomLord está muy logrado. Es atractivo y original.

You must say your device info, like android version and device name. (Debes decir la info de tu celular, como la version de android y el nombre del dispositivo)
