I found this version of Google camera for nokia devices running Oreo (nokia 6.1 and 8) on nokia poweruser site with night sight mode and it installed perfectly on my device and taking photos and no app crash whatsoever.
Only the problem is the photos are totally white after its taken. Can anybody solve this issue? Or should I tweak some settings in the app?
Can't post any link here and the apk is of 80mb so can't upload here.
Upload to mega or gdrive .Thanks

There is already a thread for Pixel camera with night sight already. you might want to check it out. https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-note-8/themes/pixel-3-google-camera-t3872796
That issue you are facing is the common issue of pixel 3 camera right now for exynos.

Thanks anyway.

Hello, here for all who are not satisfied with the camera quality of the AXON 10 Pro. Everything works perfect in this version except for 1-2 things. There are some things that you have to pay attention to, more below.
Here is a small comparison with comments:
Night: https://photos.app.goo.gl/WLDZSGboeyfQNKyS8
Day: Still to follow
1. First, download and install this GCAM version:
https://mega.nz/#!xXJTCY6J!NId0QM4tYi7woKoy1BwKN_fAGBJN0J95LnIKHhK5gJc
2. Then my own config for the AXON 10 Pro:
https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=6006931924117896736
3. Now you have to create this folder structure on the internal memory:
Gcam -> configs
4. Now you take the config "Axon10ProV3.xml" and pack it in the newly created "configs" folder.
5. Now you can start the new camera app and allow the permissions.
6. Now just tap the black area next to the trigger and the config restores.
7. Done! Have fun (but there are things to note!)
12MP main and 5MP front are normal and is expected! (4in1 pixels)
You can switch by holding the camera switching & gallery buttons through the different lenses!
Update 1:
Changlog:
-Workaround for Nightsight not needed anymore
-4K Front Video
-60fps added (Resolution Bug)
If you want to use the night vision mode on the main camera you have to:
Switch to Ultra Wide or Tele
Then more
Now select Forbearance
Finished!
If you want to use the night vision mode on Tele & Ultra you need:
Switch to Ultra Wide or Tele
If it is not dark enough to stop the lens
Now night vision is proposed.
Tap on it and you're done!
Under "More" -> "Settings" -> "Advanced" -> "Libs" you can choose between different profiles. The "s" stands for sharpened. I prefer the non-s libs as they produce a more natural image. Its also set in my config. For Nighsight the "s" versions can produces better results.
Have fun with a much better camera!
Very good

Step 3 and 4
Much appreciate your efforts!
So far so good with my tests. Tons of fine tuning with GCAM it's not even funny. I just have a problem that I can't seem to resolve with the Video.
Whenever I switch to video mode, the GCAM app just crashes. I feel like i'm missing something stupid or probably some user operated error on my part...
Any assistance on this i'd be grateful!
EDIT: I'm using the ROM from China.
Thanks

Found a link to a working Gcam 7.0 apk for the Axon 10 Pro. Everything seems to work. There's a detailed settings menu which lets you make lots of adjustments that I haven't messed with yet. Here's the link. I downloaded the version for the "K20, K20 Pro, OnePlus Devices".
www.gizchina.com/2019/10/13/how-to-install-google-camera-7-0-gcam-on-any-android-device/
Can you please update that link to point to a real Gcam 7?
Any news for a GCAM mod working with Android 10 on Axon 10? Old 6.1x version doesn't work anymore and "new" 7.x version from this thread uses only main camera. Is there a version working with all 3 back cameras?
Gesendet von meinem ZTE A2020G Pro mit Tapatalk
Yeah. Hope someone develops one that's compatible with Android 10 and all three cameras.
Any news by now for a GCAM mod working with Android 10 on Axon 10?
Hi folx,
i tried recently different GCam Mods to find a fitting one but i didn't succeed getting the one with all settings working
This is what i find so far: (i hope it is not doubled - then plz forgive me  )
1 - Sabre is not working on my phone (Android 10) different Mods 7.3.020 -> always results in not saved pictures... Maybe it never worked before ?
2 - Auto focus tracking in combination with Video crashes the GCAM on my phone.
3 - Is there a possibility to get all three Cams working on ZTE or is it impossible due to a certain fact ?
4 - Which of the GCam - Mods is preferred by your experiences in respect of working features and picture quality ?
5 - Someone asked one of the GCam Modders to create a mod for the Axon 10 pro ? Maybe a small Team can help ?
6 - Is there a howto mod GCAM apk ?
7 - Haven't found a description of the Libpatcher's parameters - some are still unknown to me
Actually i use the one from parrot043 - Libpatcher enabled - trying to find the best setting for now i increased most of the parameters by 25 %
I wish you all a pleasant sunday
Cheers
Rhonin
I've tried several gcam mods. They all seem to work fine with the main camera. But I am unable to use any of the secondary cameras. Often there is not even an option to activate. If so... The app crashes as soon as I switch to wide angle or tele.
Anybody found a working mod? Android 10

I am also running into it crashing when taking a night mode shot. Any ideas on how to fix it?
Hi folx, i think we have to root our phones first to activate a special magisk modul called : Auxiliary_in_GCam_magisk . After that it could/should be possible to access the other cams. But due the fact that i haven't rooted my phone yet i can't tell you from my own experiences. For now i'm happy with PixelCam Dise v1.2
If s.o. has rooted his phone and tested a fitting GCam Mod - please inform the rest of us -
THX in advance

Just paste all the add-ons you got in the other camera version and put in folder Android/data/camera* isn't needed root privileges

Can anyone please tell me what's the difference between the current ( EMUI 9.1) camera version and this one? Does it offer 50x zo etc?
Only 10x zoom max with last fw. Apparently they only let the same camera do 30x zoom on the Mate 20 series. Probably artificial limitation to make the newer phone more appealing...
Someone knows what's more in the version 9.1.0.319 and 9.1.0.323
I'm in 9.1.328 os version and I have the 318 camera version.
Sent from my CLT-L29 using Tapatalk
Need to tell you all I`ve got CLT-L29 with 9.1.0.328 - and the camera got Terrible! Night-mode is atrocious, and day-time shooting worsened. Night mode now makes flat, ugly, no-life-basic photos (doesn`t matter if vivid or whatever colour mode is used), day-time pictures are dark, with worse dynamic range then before. I tried everything to go back to previous version - not possible in my experience. If anyone succeeded in downgrading the camera app version, or installing an older one, PLEASE let me know how. My phone is not rooted - cant find a way to unlock the bootloader. (I read about a possible way with disassembling the phone, but I wouldn`t do that to it).
Cheers,
P.S. - If you have a P20 Pro with older android version - do not update! - it will destroy your camera (basically the only thing you bought the phone for).
I have no issue with 328 firmware emui 9.1 and the cam, how I am in 345 firmware with a new version of camera app, working fine, you can make a factory reset or simply reset the camera app settings

You haven`t noticed. They made it gradually worse - with 8.1 it was so much better in regards of color depth, dynamic range, contrast setting, night mode contrast, light sensitivity - everything, by the time they made 9.1... it is nothing of the kind. BTW this issue is noted, A1 representative I spoke to, said Huawei were "aware" of the night-mode problem, and "wold fix it" in the next generation of updates. But I as a very keen photo-maniac, who bought this phone precisely for the camera, noticed it getting worse by every update, so I don`t truly believe they will fix it. When with 8.1 p20pro was hands down the low-light monster and had outstanding color depth, which the p30pro couldn`t reach because it lacks the monochrome camera (same goes for the nigh-mode). So even if they do something about the night-mode in future updates, for it would be made so that the camera will be smudged to produce p30pro-like (but blurrier) photos.
Otherwise - I made factory reset, probably 10 times since then, even found a way to delete the camera app with adb run tool, installed the latest version from apk-mirror - still the same (of course). Then I factory reset the phone again and again and again...
So please, when citing me, please cite me only if you found a way to answer my query and you personally managed to install a workingly-run 8.1 camera version, please. Thank you so much for your understanding and willingness to help!
Cheers!
My camera is ok too. I use night mode even during the day, sometimes, for the dramatic effect.

Interesting. What is your p20p model: C432 or C7..?
I answer you in the right way with the typical issues with the software and the cam, I don't care how many times you made factory reset, I see improvements in the cam with emui9.1, maybe your cam or phone is damage, or whatever,

On a serious note, this is a thing! Something new I've learnt - may be related to most up-to-date ROM version/ region.
Have you checked under camera settings ---> camera modes (under useful features) --> Edit modes?

I just wish someone can bring the Instagram mode from the S10 to the Note 9.
Rules for the best Instagram story are the same no matter what type of post you're trying to pull off. It's all about selection and execution. It would be best to have something that will resonate strongly with your audience and tug at their emotions. Your goal should be to persuade somebody to follow you on social media, buy something from your store or send you money. To have that "instant viral response," you need to be ready to share as soon as you snap a pic. An excellent tip would be an Instagram frame. You can read here how to make it https://macpaw.com/how-to/white-frame-instagram. In this way, you will make your posts more beautiful.
I've tried quite a few gcam ports and I've found this version to be the best. The only issue I've found is the preview image freezes when using selfie night mode. It still takes a picture ok just the preview image freezes. It seems to be a common issue across all the ports I've tried.
https://f.celsoazevedo.com/file/cfiles/gcm1/MGC_7.3.020_Parrot043_V5.apk
Yep, been using this one also. Big improvement over the stock camera app!
Default app likes to just mesh colours together and makes it look pretty bad and blurry, but this port makes photos have much more detail.
I've just tried the Parrot043_v7 version and can confirm that night mode using selfie camera works perfectly on this one. There are a lot more options in the settings menu also regarding white balance and astrophotography etc.

Yes you are right, it does still freeze. It's really strange, in good lighting the front camera won't freeze when switched into night mode which is why I thought it worked, I was in a lit room at the time. If the environment is darker, the front camera preview still freezes like it always did.
Does the GCAM port give you the option of 1080/60fps for video?
I don't have the phone yet so am not even sure what the stock camera app options are.
Thanks

Well, the port I use does have a 60fps option, but the actual video itself doesn't look that smooth.
I'm sure another port will pop up soon enough with proper support (as this one has the option to enable 4k, but really it bumps it up from 720p to 1080p).
Thanks for that, it's good to know as I purchased it online assuming it would have the capability.
I was looking at other phones with the 665 SOC like the Xiaomi Note 8t and that has the 1080/60fps option in the stock camera app whereas Oppo doesn't for some reason.

I just checked the Oppo website and it doesn't look like the camera supports 60fps https://www.oppo.com/au/smartphone-a52/specs/
Although not sure if a Gcam port can "enable" it down the track.
I realised that after I purchased it of course
The Xiaomi Note 8t added 60fps after an update so it wasn't there initially either, maybe Oppo will do the same.
GCAM sounds way better anyway so hopefully the 60fps smoothness issue gets sorted.

Haha, such is the nature of the bargain priced beast, too good to pass up so you buy it on a whim!
But yes I'm sure there'll be a Gcam port popping up to solve the issue soon enough.
Plus it launched with Android 10, bound to be updated like the Xiaomi
I believe this port works best along with Mar 2020 config file which is also in the config folder
although it's not the most recent, it's most compatible, feel free to tweak settings according to your preference if anything breaks just load the xml file.
https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/117YpZCBTAhj1Gno7W_2dX_RSPAfdhi3u?usp=sharing
use the mar 2020 configuration file, the only bug with this is in slo mo videos where if you do 1/8 mode, it may not work properly so you have to stop recording and restart recording then it works.
all other ports have white dot (luma) noise on front cam and fixing it by library tweaks makes textures loose detail and sharpness, and view finder hangs in certain modes.
