Exynos For Verizon? - Samsung Galaxy Note 9 Questions & Answers

Is there a Exynos version of the Note 9 that's Verizon compatible?

No. That's why exynos isn't sold in North America. For that very reason.

[Q] Galaxy Note with LTE 2600 and NFC?

The Galaxy Note is unfortunately sold in many different versions, because humanity did not manage to agree on a single frequency for LTE.
Where (in what NATION or in what SHOP) can people buy:
Galaxy Note version with LTE 2600 and NFC.
Does the Korean version have LTE 2600?
Does the Hong Kong version have LTE 2600?
ALL LTE versions are without EXYNOS, right?
Come on people, no answer?
One of you must have this version.

Only Korea have the LTE/NFC version with SnapDragon MSM8260 1.5Ghz dualcore.
Exynos doesn't support LTE and is better then snapdragon in Korean note version.

nice info..
Do you have any source that can confirm this ?
I'm going to washer a guess that the SM-N910W8(Qualcomm Snapdragon 805)------[North America]------{FDD-LTE+WCDMA+GSM} is the Canadian model? The W8 references the Canadian model for the Note 3.
Crap. That means getting the Exynos version is going to be quite difficult.

Yes,This model is Canada.
Great information, but it's very high-level.
What are frequency differences in 3G and 4G between those models?
it is well known that Samsung tries to cut frequencies to avoid cross border sales.
for example,
S5 G900F:
3G UMTS B1 (IMT 2.100 MHz), B2 (PCS 1.900 MHz), B5 (US 850 MHz Cellular), B8 (GSM 900 MHz)
4G LTE B1 (2.100), B2 (1.900), B3 (1.800), B5 (850), B7 (2.600), B8 (900), B20 (800) dependent on market support
S5 SM-G906K (korea)
3G UMTS B1(2100), B2(1900), B5(850)
4G LTE B1(2100), B3(1800), B7(2600), B8(900), B17(700)
Iphone 6 A1522 (GSM)
LTE (band 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 13, 17, 18, 19, 20, 25, 26, 28, 29)
Iphone 6 A1524 (CDMA):
FDD-LTE (band 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 13, 17, 18, 19, 20, 25, 26, 28, 29)
TD-LTE (band 38, 39, 40, 41)
this is crucial for those of us travelling internationally.
would it be possible to elaborate the list stating detailed 3G/4G bands per each model?
Yes I'm especially interested in figuring out what I need to do to get GSM 1700 besides getting the T-Mobile model. Surely the W8 model must have it if it will be used by Wind.

Nice catch! I wonder what this is. The s-pen features won't work without Touchwiz... Google Play Edition with a working s-pen (+ features) would be interesting.
A Note 4 with stock Android & working S-Pen would be very interesting. Having been a Google/Nexus phone user before getting my Note 3, I gotta say I love the the cleanness of stock android without all the extra stuff that gets thrown on top. I'll be keeping my eyes open for that, although I wish there was more info about it now.

ah, okay... that makes more sense
well this list appears to be bogus.
Samsung just announced and did a demo and display in australia.
the device here is a snapdragon not a exynos as per this list
Under the hood is 2.7GHz Snapdragon 805 processor, 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage (expandable up to 128GB via microSD card). You also get all manner of 4G connectivity you can possibly dream of 802.11ac Wi-Fi and a 16-megapixel camera.

Samsung sucks because all Chinese early shipped versions come with 16G internal memory only.

Yessss!!!
Thanks man.
So happy to see Brazil is getting dual sim version. Hate to carry two devices.
Quick question the international SM-N910 model is the same as all the other Qualcomm 805 but it will work with any GSM carrier out of the box right?

International Note 9 Questions...

I have a Note 9 on order from Rogers (Canada), but am interested in the dual-SIM, International Exynos version from eBay. Anyone know if the Exynos version supports Google Pay (one of the ads stated it didn't) or if there are other issues to consider when picking up an international, Exynos edition?
The key motivator for me is the dual-SIM. An unlocked bootloader would be good to have, but not necessary for my needs. Would the dual-SIM Snapdragon version offer any advantages?
N9600 should work in Canada and not the Exynos version due to LTE band support frequency.

Does the Note 9 Exynos have all the LTE bands of Snapdragon variant?

I am wondering does the Note 9 Exynos have the LTE bands of Snapdragon variant?
I am thinking of purchasing a Note 9 Exynos, but there is no concrete info if the Exynos variant supports LTE bands that is used by US variant Snapdragon.
I am thinking of using it on T-Mobile and there is no info if the Exynos has LTE Band 71 (600)

I'm wondering the same. I'll look into it to see if Samsung has more details.

from the looks of it, i dont see it on the list of Band 71. but the irony of it is, the snapdragon version isn't on the list either??
The US SnapDragon Note 9 DOES have band 71 but the Exynos version does not.
Yes, The snapdragon has Band 71, but my comment is it is not on that list from that site... this is a more indepth list from phonearena that shows the list for each variant.

If you are referring to the N9600 variant. The Exynos variant has the majority of the bands that the N9600N has, but is missing LTE band 2300.

Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra Model Number SM-G998* Differences - TechWalls
iPhone - Supported 5G and LTE networks - Apple New Tab
Can anyone please tell me about the practical consequences involved here?
My friend insists that the iPhone is better for travel because of the compatible bands.
And, doesn't the S21U just have a newer version of the same modem that's inside the iPhone 12PM? Shouldn't this mean that they cover nearly all the same bands?
I hate that Samsung doesn't seem to have an official page with their bands listed, like they should!
