I bought a new pebble and it has been charging for a day and the pebble charging screen is still there. It hasn't gotten to the where I can set up.
How can I fix it?
Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.

Did you tried holding the back, up, and middle buttons to do a factory reset?
Og Pebble is quite old, can be also a dead battery due to deep discharge.
When I do that factory reset, it gives me ssad with errors.
Should I replace the battery?

What did you mean with sad face? The first gen pebbles did also have chances to have a defect display.
Is new Pebble 1st Gen worth buying now in 2018 for USD50? Can I still put it to good use with the help of Rebble community?

I won't do that cause of the age of the battery... You can have luck or not but 50$ is too much for that challenge(for me). Original Pebble may be from 2013.
My kickstarter PTS(2015) battery is around 80-90% I think...

Thanks for the input. I was in two minds. Now I shouldn't go for it. You are right about the battery. 2013 is a long time back to expect a good battery.

My first One worked perfectly for 2 months. Then it got stolen. On the 3rd of august I bought a new one and it got replaced three times because one had a huge scratch on the screen ( I unboxed it right there at the store so the employee directly gave me another one) and the second shut down randomly! How can something like this happen?
So I got my third(!) HTC One today. I unpacked it and it just doesn't turn on. I thought maybe the battery is low (even though that should not be the case because li-po batteries should be stored at about half charge ) But even after charging it for an hour where it does only blink with the red LED it does not turn on.
Any ideas or should I just go back to the market and directly demand a replacement.
And I really can't trust the One anymore... It's hands down the most beatiful phone with awesome specs. But what if I can't make that call in a dangerous situation because HTC has no QC?

Hold down power and volume down buttons while holding the proximity sensor directly under a bright light (sounds strange but it works!). This will reboot to the bootloader, them reboot from there.

I'll try that. What does it do, and why could that help?
EDIT: Im trying but so far nothing happens. Is it possible that HTC sent a bricked device to the store?

The bright light triggers the proximity sensor, kind of tells it the phone is not in your pocket and it will let it turn on.

Does not seem to work. I am pretty sad I would have never thought any company could send a absolutely bricked and useless product to a customer. Unbelievable.

Yeah, I'll let it charge overnight and hope the battery is just totally empty. But if thats the case didn't that damage the battery already?

Should not have damaged the battery, no, lithium polymer battery should be fine. Good luck
I've had 3 One's aswell, and none of them had any software/hardware problems. I replaced them because of cosmetic issues. Sadly for me, I bought the Developer Edition and replacement of these is done through the worst company ever LetsTalk. In order to expedite the process, I had to do a "cross shipment" where I would pay the value of two phones and have a phone sent by them without returning mine first. Had to do two cross shipments because 2nd phone also had cosmetic problems and instead of them refunding me back two cross shipment values of 1299 each, they just refunded me two phone values... had to get my bank involved to get my money back.
Wow. Just wow. Maybe I was just lucky that my Desire HD was perfect. Funny thing is: How can HTC expect me to pay for a phone on August 3rd but til today I do not have the product for which I payed. This is ridiculous. I'm going on vacation on Wednesday and I can't take my phone for which I payed 18 days before because it's in repair for 2 - 3 weeks. Great... I always recommended HTC to my friends because of my Desire HD but I think everybody should skip the One. The chance of getting one that is looking okay and working is really not that high as it seems. For me it's a 1 out of 4. Get your QC done, HTC.

What they said: 'Oh damn, another one'
Seriously HTC?
My new one has the worst screen of all my Ones til now, but it does power on. Also there are some huge gaps between the speaker grills and the plastic band. No problem for me though, and they won't give me another replacement. So I'll have to live with it. Installing ARHD now, thread can be closed.
I love my Moto X, but, after nine months or so, the battery is getting pretty weak. I found a nice iFixit page for replacing it myself, but I don't think I'm up to it.
Is there anywhere in the Web, preferably in the USA in my case, where I could send off my phone and have the battery replaced for a reasonable charge? I'd like to find someone with a lot of experience and with reviews of happy customers.
Thanks.
ifixit and do it.. it shouldnt be too hard. the back comes off quite easily with a plastic spudger. just be patient and take your time.

I dunno. All that business with something you have to order and then heat in the microwave and lay on the back of your phone. Then the tedious spudging action around the edges. I'm 'fraid.
I'm betting the battery is fine and you simply have an issue or two that's draining you. Haven't seen you in the battery life thread, so I'm guessing you've never asked for help?
Is your device and your money... But I'd look into the possibility of an issue before trying to replace the battery.
My 2 cents.

so when i popped off my back i didnt use the heat gun or the iopener, the back came off very easily, and from there its smooth sailing, but yeah, troubleshoot the OS first, out of all my recent devices, none have ever required that the non-removable battery be replaced.
Something I can put on my night stand where my phone is vertical so I can see active notifications.

Does your daydream work all night or does it shut off and back on when the battery is full? Wireless charging cycles on and off when the battery is full and it seems to mess with Daydream.
Seen this one at Verizon the other day, really diggin it. Waitin for my gift cards to come in from trading in phones and probably gonna cop it.

Yes, the one I posted works just fine with not only the Incipio case, but I also have the Metal disc from the iOauto magenetic holder for my car.
I have noticed, however, that it gets rather warm when I take it off when its in the case, so that is something to think about.
The charger does stop when it reaches 100%...this is causing daydream to fail by morning so I'm thinking of trying to use Trigger to turn on daydream whenever wireless charging starts...that may do the trick...

By the way I'm testing a new battery that barely fits the enclosure of the clock, but if you have some eletronic skills, a lot of nerves and have nothing else to lose, then i recomend using a TCQ-10 battery form factor WG 582723, its rated 400 mAh, and it will require some modifications in the watch but its doable.
Still trying to bring back my watch back to life,(tried to redefine it but it recoverylooped), but when it's back on its feet i belive it will be able of at least 48 hours of use.
