Hi guys,
is anyone able to port the default camera app to a magisk module so we can use it on custom roms especially GSI Roms like PixelExperience or something like this? This would be pretty awesome if we got the stock camera on a rom like this. Anyone out there who maybe can do this?

I installed it, but the camera app is not created.
If there is anybody who now how to make it, please share the knowhow with me, better us. I would like to learn it properly.
I'm waiting for this port to work before switching to customs ROMs...
This could be a good start for a skilled Dev.

I have been working on a port of MIUI for the Atrix and think I might have a stable ROM. The problem is, i'm not familiar with editing the boot img or kernel. So i'm trying to see if a dev would be willing to help me out with that so I can get the ROM rolling. If so, either PM me or reply. Thanks in advance!

I have modified the system files and all that jazz using the files we have now with cm7 and the MIUI that is out for the Optimus 2x. My stopping point is a proper boot.img that is compatible with Atrix for MIUI. I have never messed with a boot image before so pretty much need someone to do that part

yeah, just use the CM7 boot.img
I have tried that so I must be having problems with something else. Problem is that the Atrix isn't getting past the motorola unlocked startup screen. Any thoughts on some of the main things that cause so I can know the general area to start looking?

They are not working actually...They are just waiting for official CM support and do the work
Exactly why I am trying to complete this myself. Anybody knowledgeable with porting a ROM and want to tag team this with me?
you should try to get intouch with the guys from CM7 team, and maybe make your work open source for ppl to see thats going on. the would help alot. anwyas good luck buddy and thanks alot for your efforts

I tested this and it's booting. I flashed it using PhilZ great recovery.
If it didn't boot for you then you did something wrong...

This sounds awesome! MIUI is the only thing holding me back from ordering.
Are you hopeful that cm13 will be pretty usable right away or is it hard because of the new SD820 and not having much development yet?

First of all it's a marshmallow based rom. I used to use this on my Meizu device, so i just missed it. Neat and smooth, I like it. But some say IOS-ish like MIUI. Smh. The post to telegram group that you can download the zip(if anyone wonders):

So it's basically the same 1 we used 6 months ago, it was very good, if you want something where everything works as it should it's a good option the mix does work a lot better on Marshmallow.
