Here is a quick review of the ROM.
Using it from yesterday. A big improvement over other pie roms. Tons of customisation of all sorts. Everything about this ROM is fantastic. Updated frequently even before an official thread. I missed only feature of dt2w which can be activated through magisk. Overall great work from Havoc OS team.

used for like 12 hours, average battery backup with standby drain
UX is very smooth comparing to any Oreo/Nougat rom
got random freeze on some apps like messenger, facebook (after 1-2 min, app worked normally, no reboot needed)
so, back to Oreo for a while
hope android 9 builds will get better over time, just like all other previous builds did.
Does this ROM has changing font function cause I love the HYcoffee font in Havoc 8.1.0.
Hey guys, I have an RN3 (kate) , when I try to install the Havoc Pie Rom I can not get past the configuration screen, it stays on looking for update and it does not get out of it. Anyone knows how to resolve this?
Bugs:
1.) OngoingPlay store downloads are not shown in the notification bar
2.) Clear all recents button customization options dont work
Are you installing with a SD into the Kenzo (I'm not saying FROM SD). Try installing without SD and tell us.

I'm using Kate too but all working just fine. Is ur network ok? Or try skip that and sign in later

reboot solved the issue on my kate (stopped at adding finishing touches screen)
please tell me where can I turn off rounded corners? It drives me crazy...

I always use pico.
My step - wipe all - flash rom, gapps, magisk, reboot & enjoy
Latest having issue, when switch to another user. Previous builds don't have the same. When switch to another user, after some time nav bar changed from pill to old style. Need reboot to restore to pill.
Can anyone tell me how to enable call recording or where the settings.
I have flashthe rom since yesterday, everything is fine but the function double tape wake and pocket protection is missing. Hopes add it back soon.

The highest Antutu score of any rom I have ever tried
look like you modified the thermal-engine ? because i dont feel a cpu/gpu throtling like other rom while doing benchmark or gaming and i love it but as a result it get a bit hotter. maybe you can adjust it a bit more so it get cooler while charging+gaming. overall fantastic performance!

Help, my phone won't charge after flashing a new firmware. It says 'charging' but it's not charging at all, after a while the battery is dead. I leave it to charge overnight but the led notification just blinking with blank screen. I just sent it to fix but the guy says he didn't notice any damage from the port/battery. Is this because the rom? I haven't tried flash another rom yet because the MTP not working also
I'm afraid it happened due to overheating because the modified thermal-engine in this rom. Anyone can confirm? (sorry for broken english)

No we didn't modify anything there just updated it to pie release from mi a2 which is the same phone just Android one

Thats not any issue of that firmware. My devices charges without issues and mtp works too. I use it daily and never faced such issues. Sorry
Reflash your device via miflash back to stock rom and flash custom rom again.

I don't know why you made a new thread for Havoc, since the version you post in the link is similar to the other thread, and the features hence remain the same. No noticeable difference.
Literally every problem that users post in the other thread still persist (probably because wrong link posted by OP, so I actually installed the same one with the other thread).
Also, the build device ID is still wrong like previous version. In some part, written as "riva", while some written "rolex".

Yup I also faced volte problem
And WiFi speed only limits to 49-50 kbps
And also calls does not show up sometimes need to reboot to make it work

What about Riva?
Thing which are not so perfect.
1_ Nightlight(yellow tint).
2_Grayscale(digital wellbeing (wind up)).
3_Charge cycle(doesn't show anything).
4_Battery life (5 hrs max expected another 30 mins or so because my phone is almost 2 years old.)
5_Google feed(left most page on the launcher) is laggy.
6_FM doesn't work.
7_Update section is broken ("cannot check for updates not connected to the internet").
8_Google sound app.
Rest all is very good, don't want to pin point.
I need some help with GCmod how can I increase noise reduction when using front camera. If I cannot do that then how to lesser the grains.
By the way keep up the goodwork and I think it's the best pie ROM I have ever tried on my rolex.
Anyone facing issue like random freezing? My device is getting freezed frequently. I need to force restart my device in this situation.

No, works perfectly fine.

Magisk won't install on my phone after flashing this custom ROM, I don't know what the problem is.
Whenever I flash Magisk, it will always successfully flash. After rebooting into the system and checking if it installed, it isn't. What could be the problem? Thanks.

Download and install Magisk manager APK after flashing, installing before flashing recommended.

Flash older magisk 17.0 and update to 18.0. It worksssss

I used the rom only a short time, because my fingerprint sensor wasnt working. but this wasnt a bug of the rom. Otherwise i didnt found a bug.

Had battery drain issues with miui and RR. Have not experienced such issue with Havoc for the last 10 days

Can't upload pics just yet, we'll figure out how to share it shortly. TBH my battery nowadays struggles to go throughout the day, and honestly I am not much of an intense user. But lately with miui/miuipro and RR I had always faced high consumption when phone was idle (i.e. overnight) which does not happen with this ROM.

I think its in the gesture part of the customization settings. On the system update tab, i think Havoc OS doesnt have OTA updates. Let's wait for Varun to reply to this case.
Hello guys!
I decided to try some AOSP based ROM and flashed this one. So far so good, very clean and smooth but I discovered the alarms are set without sound by default and that cannot be changed. When I try, thr app is crashing. Also, I think Titanium Backup doesn't work very wel with this rom. Does this is known bug or is just me?

I am building the latest version of Havoc with some changes. Try using nano when installing gapps and not pico. Thanks!

Hi Dev, I clean flashed HAVOC from above link, there's no camera app by default . I tried open cam and many other gcam ports, none of them work .
attached is logcat when i tried running Gcam supported for our device. Hope this helps.

Thanks sir. I'm not sure if both Sourceforge and mega files are same but I downloaded mega file. I first flashed stock Android 10 and then clean flashed Havoc and it worked.

I also notice the bug. We will try to fix it as soon as we can!
i am using the mega file now,noticed the homebutton will vibration but not wake up device. CR can wake up by homebutton with AOD or not.
